1. Stop messing with what was a good thing

   Been using Yahoo Finance for 20+ years because of it's simplicity and specificaly BECAUSE it has no bells and whistles. Undo every change you've made in the last 10 years. Don't change the site ever again. I don't want any videos playing or ads. The Holdings feature gets worse and worse with every change. The whjole site has become unusably bad and I'm looking for another site now.

2. 'NO TAX' is FAKE NEWS!

   I guess I'm a bit surprised that Folks aren't doing the math on these 'NO TAX' promises.

   Re: Overtime, there is a cap of $12.500. So, if you make $20 hr. and time & a half=$30, only 8 hrs. of overtime per wk. is 'NO TAX'. Of course, if you make more than $20 hr. it will be less than 8 hrs.

   Re: Tips, the cap is 25K. So, if you're a waitress you can earn up to $480wk in tips before they are taxed. They get approx. $100 a month, $25 a week, savings by this supposed "NO TAX". Does that even make a dent in the hike of insurances, groceries, medical needs, etc.? CRUMBS!

   Those on SS get the worst break. They don't really get 'NO TAX'. What the elderly, crippled, Vets, etc. who depend on SS get is a 6K deduction on their SS for taxes. Now that's good if you have no other income. If, however, you have income from a pension, rental, interest, 401K, etc., the 6K deduction is helpful but a far cry from 'NO TAX'.

   I really hope this deception of the 'NO TAX' on SS, Tips, Overtime is exposed soon. If not, many will be surprised when they do their 2025 taxes. Will their 'surprise' then affect the midterm vote? Time will tell. But like this 'Einstein' thing, we don't need any more deception or surprises.

   Also, these ‘NO TAX’ promises are temporary, through 2028.

   This is the only article I've seen that has addressed this:

   'Taxes on Social Security benefits were not eliminated despite what you've heard' by Susan Tompor.

   Within just 2 days after the BBB was signed, all attention was diverted to 'Epstein'. More deflection then went to Powell and the almost daily bullying and attacks on him. This was followed up by the accusations of the 2016 election. No one is discussing in any depth the BBB and its ramifications. This Broken Promise of 'NO TAX' needs to be exposed.

4. Yahoo Finance Portfolio Custom View - bug in setting column order under Firefox

   Web Browser - Firefox, latest version, clean. The functionality works correctly under Chrome. Steps to reproduce

   1. Create a new custom view - success
   2. Use checkboxes to add/remove column - success
   3. Use "Column Order" functionality - the functionality works, however, when applied and you return to portfolio view, some of the columns are reordered in random order - eg not where they were intended. Eg, "1-year estimate" always move to the second position, etc.
   4. When going back to "Edit", the column are shown in new (eg corrupted) order.
   5. It seems that some specific columns are always ordered correctly, while other "float around". Unfortunately, it makes the functionality useless :-(.

   I could demonstrate.

5. Price Alerts in Desktop Application

   The phone app version of Yahoo! Finance is far superior to the desktop application and it is frustrating as a Gold Member to not be able to use like features across both platforms, including basic functions like price alerts and my holdings info. I noticed the 'My Holdings' info has been added recently to the desktop application when I am on a stock that I hold, which is great, although the information that it shows once again differs from the information on the same page on my phone app. Consistency makes for a better user experience.

7. Rate limit issues

   In trying to research funds for 401K, I need aggregate information without dumping a months worth of chart data and computing the monthly high/lows myself. In most examples I find online, folks are requesting 30 days or more data and letting python crunch the numbers. My purpose would suffice to have a details api that gives monthly high/low along with today's current price. By asking for 30 days of info times 15 mutual funds, I was able to launch my script 4 times in a week and since then, my script has received rate limit error that wont go away and its been three weeks waiting for this to reset.    Please add a feature to advanced charts that keeps the cursor in the symbol search block after I type the symbol and hit enter, and view that chart, I want the symbol to be highlighted in that box, so that when I type in the next symbol, it deletes the old symbol and I hit enter and it shows the next symbol. Basically I'm simplifying the entry so that there is no mouse click and I just type in the symbol and hit enter type in the next symbol and hit enter. It will save a lot of clicks in time and errors and so forth. Thank you.

10. Possible Bug in Yahoo Finance Portfolio – Dividend Currency Mismatch for INFY.NS

    I would like to report a potential issue with the dividend display in my portfolio. The stock in question is INFY.NS (Infosys Ltd).

    The dividends for this stock are paid in INR, but in my portfolio, the individual dividend entries are shown in USD, while the total dividend amount is in INR. This results in an incorrect calculation of total dividend income.

14. Create one master portfolio for linked brokerage accounts

    When a user links their brokerage accounts to YF it should create one portfolio to track, not a portfolio for every account a user owns. This defeats the purpose of using the portfolio feature in the first place. Only way to do it currently is to manually enter everything which is quite time consuming.

15. Fix errors in dividend payments

    Can you please fix the dividend payment amounts for stocks. For some reason dividends are recorded in points rather than pence against all my UK holdings (which wasn't an issue before but has occurred since an update a few months ago and hasn't been resolved). Thanks.

17. restore the availability of the old portfolio format

    My portfolio includes around 125 equities. When the market is open and the prices, volumes, etc. are being actively updated, the browser window often uses all the memory on my PC and crashes.

    I have posted several prior comments about features that were in the old version that now are missing (importing a csv for example), bulk deletions within a portfolio as well as sluggish performance and erratic behavior during scrolling.

    Have had enough - it ain't getting any better.
