2. New words

   You need to get rid of comments immediately that suggest "unaliving" as a solution. ie, I saw a comment where the person said "I hope you get kirked". That should be one of the words that don't allow your comment to be published.

3. Zero Ads at the outset, I should never see ads INSTEAD of my email page.

   This was my first look at yahoo in decades. Just a garbage google clone, and yes, that is an insult. Right now, you offer the Donald Trump of emails, which is to say, you are destroying everything you see. I do not have time for your delusional attempts to sell garbage rather than deliver emails. I think your marketing company or division robbed you, and, or, your marketing AI is garbage. YAHOO is still GARBAGE. New idea, Ads teeny, email function HUGE. Perhaps your Trump like little brain can grasp that concept. Emails should never have ads at all, productivity destruction. Foolish to think I would upgrade to premium on your useless "promise" that I won't have to see ads.

4. stop messing around with the design. you make it worse every single time.

   You have made a mess of the calendar. Just allow me to put it back the way it was before. It looks like a PlaySchool kid's toy now.
   I do NOT want those bold colors. I can't choose NO COLORS. I can't choose the DEFAULT view to stay on MONTHLY.

5. An address availability request.

   Let people request deleted addresses be made available. I understand deleting inactive accounts but I don't get why you hold the address for 20 years. Being able to create a new account with the old unused address would be a form of recovery. Would also be nice for people who want a simple email address but can't make one because yahoo is hoarding millions of old deactivated addresses for idk what possible reason that has to be expensive server space.

10. Split view

    The split view option popping up every time I drag an e-mail to a folder and pushing everything else aside is incredibly annoying. Maybe place the split view thing in the opposite side. Anything else, really. Thanks in advance!

11. New Calendar is inferior to previous version

    The new calendar defaults to a weekly view. I prefer the monthly view but there is no way to make that the default view. I would like to have the option of setting the default view to the monthly view as I had in the previous version of Calendar. Also, when I try to edit something on the calendar it does not edit properly. For example, if I have something on my calendar for December 2nd and want to move it to December 23rd, it won't move to December 23rd when I try to edit the date. Also, I do not like that the "time" default for an event is "All Day" and you have to turn that off before you can enter a specific time for the event you are entering. This version of Calendar is very inferior to the previous version. Very cumbersome and doesn't work well. Thank you for your consideration to make improvements.

    why do i need to see your new initiative when you mark messages from my contacts as spam
    this is waht i get
    "We think this message is spam. We still put it into your Inbox as the sender is in your contact list"
    and also my contacts receive messages from me with the same message that I am spam
    who invented this stupid initiative at Yahoo?????

20. By scrapping the whole project and not allowing it to automatically make people use it. It isn't better. It's a considerably worse UI.

    I didn't want to be switched to the newest version of yahoo. I'd already tried it, and went back to the old version. It's not good! It's difficult to find my mail that I actually want to read, and if I wanted to use google - I would. Stop trying to be google.

    On top of that - now it won't show my mail past August 2024. It's December 2025!! Where did all of my mail from the past 16 months go? I needed access to those emails, not access to some spam I definitely already deleted, but here it is still uselessly sitting in my mail box.

    I deleted most of these outdated messages the same week the new version of Yahoo Mail was released. So why can't I access the new stuff, and all I have is stuff I don't need or want and already deleted?! It makes no sense.

    Stop trying to be google... google sucks as a company and a provider. The only reason why I've been with yahoo since the beginning of yahoo is because it's YAHOO... and NOT Gmail.

    If you want people to be happy then fix how spam is toggled. The only complaint in the real world that I hear about Yahoo Mail is that 1. the email takes longer to be received, and 2. even important legal emails, or state/government emails will be automatically sent to spam. THAT'S IT. I've talked to so many people across so many business types and everyone agreed these were the two biggest problems with Yahoo Mail, and that was the primary reason for using hotmail or gmail instead. Fix those 2 issues - please stop trying to be google.

    Also this wont let me change to the email address I actually was checking when I clicked this feedback. It will only let me use an email address I almost never even use.
