Hate new Yahoo News format.
I absolutely hate the latest format update to Yahoo news. I only care about 'More for You'. I do not like having to scroll past sports, etc. each time I launch news. Instead, embed links if one wants to view sports or horoscopes.

Quality
Quality is lacking. Articles are not well researched, have many mistakes, or are ads masked as articles. I also hate videos and sound! I like to read articles.
It would also be nice to know the feedback you are receiving has been heard.

New format is not good
The new format is not good. I like and want my old homepage and format back. We should have an option to keep the old format. I like the scrolling at the top of the page. Also, how I can choose if I want to see science stories or technology stories etc.

Quit the sponsored ads
The mobile site has entirely TOO MANY sponsored ads that take over the website. I counted 63 today! Most are repeat ads for the same products. It's annoying and makes me want to quit using Yahoo! I understand why people are looking for other news sources. Yahoo has sold itself to the advertising gods & sacrificed user friendliness in the process. Also, the stupid click bait articles like Cheat Sheet are ruining the experience. Furthermore, the subscriber stories are ludicrous! Remove the Sportsreel!

I don't like the new Y! homepage layout.
I don't like the new Y! homepage layout. The first story's picture is too big, it's distracting and I miss the other features like trending topics. If Yahoo is primarily a search engine, it should behave that way, that is be an unbiased gateway to relevant or popular articles or sites, instead of giving prominent web space to stories their editors want us to see. Surprise birthday parties with presents are fun. Surprise changes to unannounced platforms are not. I can't tell if there is something wrong with my phone, me or if Yahoo is changing things again. Pick something. Stick with it. Stop the incessant "improvements". If changes are going to happen, try to find a way to inform those impacted beforehand. And truly absorb the feedback you are getting.

How do you filter out a particular subject?
How do you filter out a particular subject. More than half of the suggested articles are about the Royal Wedding. I could care less. I'd like to see real news.

Give media stories a rating number that is placed next to the headline that is like a credit score and reflects the media companies past adherence to facts, opinion, bias, political affiliations and other factors.
