Expanding ads
I hate clicking on an article, starting to read, and then finding the next paragraph half missing because some extraneous, or irrelevant ad expands and covers up the article with no "X" in the corner. I have to then exit and go back several times to see bits and pieces of that article before it expands again. I'm not clicking to shop ads, I am reading an article! Trying to anyway. Thank you.

You arent listening! You are getting tiresom!
I check the less news option with Insider, it seems the more I mark less stories the more stories I get from Insider. It's getting old and I will cut yahoo off completely. I'm just one person, probably wasting my time complaining.
121st rankedHello! Thank you for providing your feedback. Rest assured, we do monitor this channel and value your comments. The product team has been working on the "show less" issue and should have a fix soon.

Editorial
I just saw where you posted where a woman slaughtered her dog and you had photos. I don't understand this kind of news. I'm wondering why the team thinks this is something that people would enjoy reading. This is very upsetting and I just wanted to pass along my input because I don't feel that I want to read any Yahoo news going further.

Can we please stop with Trump every day in the news? I am tired of hearing about him. Is the ANY other subject we can get news about pleas
Tired of hearing about Trump, when someone has a mental disorder they never admit they are wrong. That is all you need to know about him, end of story.
If people like to worship him and think he is perfect let them. I am sure many Americans have a mental disorder like him.
We need a good Republican in office, not someone who is crazy. Someone who can actually admit when they are wrong and is a free thinker that does not follow the crazy Trump ways.
Republicans right now remind me of the mafia, not a political party. If…

Get with it
Again, if you have a person pictured for a story that is black, you don’t have to tell us in the headline that they are black. We can see that. Oh and notice that I didn’t capitalize black. Neither should you

Verify your images before posting article
Yahoo ran a story about a mother stabbing 2 pitbulls that attacked her child.
The picture that was supposed to be depicting a Pitbull but was in actual fact a British Bulldog. Which is a very gentle loving breed and not known for aggressive behaviour.
Be responsible and verify the images you use, don't just use a dog picture that is similar.

Please hire a native speaker of English to make sure sure that poor English is is not in your articles and especially not in the headlines!
Please hire a native speaker of English to write or edit your news articles and especially the headlines! I see errors in verb tenses, subject/verb agreement, etc., and I cringe. It's actually painful to think this poor English is being read and learned by the rest of the world. If this continues, I will go to other news sources.
194th rankedHello! Can you please let us know what articles you are seeing the errors in? We do have many articles on Yahoo.com that are written by other news sources, so while we are not directly able to edit them, we can contact the publishers to report errors.

Where's all the science/biology/nature articles?
There's more going on in the world than celebrity and sports ****. No matter how much I ask to show less of that stuff more just keeps coming up. More science news please... Including biology and nature not just tech.

Share less. I mean share less
I see news that i want to share less. Infact not to share at all. But you send it more. I used my email here for a while. But you keep sending news i dont want. When i said i dont want. If this keeps going i will get another email and not use you. And i will say the same thing to others. Cause there is plenty of others that stop showing news that you dont want to see.

Fossil fuels and pipelines
Yahoo is far too anti fossil fuel and pipeline. These 2 things are essential for the socioeconomic survival of the country. Asian countries could care less. Yahoo is also too invested in the climate change narrative. Climate change will never reach the level in terms of monetary costs and lives as obesity does.

Please go back to showing “my teams” on your sports homepage
On your sports.yahoo.com homepage, you used to show “my teams” (i.e. the sports teams that the yahoo user customized). However, lately, you instead show “local teams.” I could not care less about my local teams and none of the teams I root for is anywhere close to where I live.
I know it’s really only a couple more clicks to get news etc about my teams, but the “my teams” feature was nice. Please restore it

Yahoo homepage stories & pictures
Why don’t story links download the pictures you have associated with that story? Only 20% of the picture will load. Also, why post a story from MarketWatch when you have to have a subscription to read it?
213th rankedThank you for your feedback! Would you be able to let us know what articles you are viewing with the pictures that don't load? Urls / screenshots would be helpful for us to troubleshoot. Thanks again!

How about making the "Show Less" option actually work?
When you click the "Show Less'' button, the exact same articles shouldn't keep showing up. Of all the algorithms that Yahoo uses, they can't figure out that I hate sports and "celebrities".
