WHAT'S NEW?
Search by Sender - Just hover over the sender's profile image and a spyglass icon will appear where you can search all emails by that sender.
Multi-Tasking Tabs - Like before, open an email in a new tab.
AI Summaries - Ability to disable. Go to Settings > AI Features > Toggle Off
Number of Total Messages - Hover over the Inbox Icon and you will see both total number of messages and unread.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.

Differentiate Unread v. Read - Better ways to see the difference.
Resize Images - Resize an image within the message.
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently for Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.

  1. Complaint About Excessive Ads in Cox/Yahoo Email Service

    Hello,

    I would like to express my dissatisfaction with the current advertising experience in the Cox.net email service now managed by Yahoo.

    The amount of ads displayed throughout the email interface has become extremely frustrating and distracting. It negatively affects the usability of the service and makes the experience feel cluttered and unpleasant.

    What is especially disappointing is that other major email providers such as Gmail and Outlook offer much cleaner, less intrusive experiences. Users should not feel overwhelmed by advertisements simply to access their email accounts.

  2. improve mail writing formatting options

    The limited formatting options here, are leaving my messages looking completely unprofessional. Like someone who doesn't know how to use a computer. Even copy pasting doesn't work as expected.

    And what is it with not being able to resize pasted images?

  3. Update subject changes in conversation view

    In conversation view, it does not show when the subject line is changed in the conversation. This is important information to show! Maybe the most important!

  4. Make less vertical space between messages in inbox list

    The classic mail showed approx 30% more messages in one screen of the list. The new mail is wasteful of space.

  6. keep the right hand pane closed or make a setting to hide it

    it wastes space. When I click the right arrows to minimize it, it reappears next time I login.
    It would be nice to not have it.

  9. UNAUTHORIZED PAYMENTS TO YAHOO SHOWING ON MY CREDIT CARD STATEMENT

    why am I being charged $5.00 a month for years on my email account campbellfb@yahoo.com. I have not authorized any updates to warrant this and cannot find any way to contact anyone at Yahoo,com to get this taken off of my account. PLEASE HELP OR I MAY BE FORCED TO PULL THIS CREDIT CARD FROM YOUR ACCOUNT. PLEASE REPLY. THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR YEARS.

    When we set our system resolution by 150%, Your mail viewing is not compatible to it. Whereas your old version display was coming perfectly.

  14. Notify users of changes

    This morning I went to Primary inbox to find changes. Changes I was not aware that were going to happen. I personally do not like the changes to the Primary inbox. Not a good look. Hard to find what I was looking for. Other major email service companies such as Google gives you notifications of changes. That would be nice if Yahoo could do the same.

    I'd love to be able to collapse the right-side panel (contacts/starred) so that I have more screen real-estate for the body of the email (which is my focus/priority when checking my emails). For those of us who navigate the web on smaller screens, or who utilize a vertical tabbed view on our browser, the right panel doesn't provide a lot of value when it causes the main email window to shrink so small...

    Yahoo mail is so frustrating- I am furious -Support from Yahoo specialist is not available? WTF-
    is this how Yahoo treats decade long customers? Stupid Ai thing is not capable of helping either-just cycles back and forth

    Dear Yahoo Mail Plus,
    This is my 3rd attempt at seeking help.
    I have regularly paid for my Yahoo Mail Plus subscription through PayPal for over 10 years. I do not know why my subscription was removed and my email got flooded with yahoo ads for the past 3 months.
