WHAT'S NEW?
Search by Sender - Just hover over the sender's profile image and a spyglass icon will appear where you can search all emails by that sender.
Multi-Tasking Tabs - Like before, open an email in a new tab.
AI Summaries - Ability to disable. Go to Settings > AI Features > Toggle Off
Number of Total Messages - Hover over the Inbox Icon and you will see both total number of messages and unread.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.

Differentiate Unread v. Read - Better ways to see the difference.
Resize Images - Resize an image within the message.
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently for Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.

  1. Mailboxes at top of left side as before

    Having the ability to select between mailboxes at the top is much more convenient as an end user than having to go to the bottom to select. Design from the end user's point of view. Most softwares do NOT think of things from this ipoint of view.

  3. Filters

    Make it so you can right click on an email in the inbox and set up a filter/rules so it can be automatically sent to a folder from then on.

  4. Email Box Clean-Up help

    Hi, I would like to have the ability to search for a email address and mass delete messages. For example I unsubscribed to newsletter I don't use any more but have 2000+ emails, would be nice if there is a way to search and mass delete messages you unsubscribed too. Maybe even a feature of the unsubsribe button.

  5. Daily streak pop-up message

    There is this daily streak pop-up that Yahoo is showing that is annoying and useless. Few people cam find a way to turn it off. Your 'help' file doesn't even show how to eliminate it.It provides zero value. Please create a clear way to disable it.

    e pessimo questo aggiornamento ! hai solo 2 opzioni chiaro e scuro !! e veramente vergognoso questa interfaccia della mail poi molto difficile da capire un mail letto da uno non letto !! per favore dateci la possibilità di tornare alla mail precedente come versione!!!

  10. font size in sending email messages

    your font size option is not working !! When i change the font size for writing messages it does not work. I select the xlarge option, but the font size is still small

    This is version is terrible and slow, please go back to the old one. I find the screen awful to look at and confusing, seriously what an absolute waste of time and money.

    I dont see anywhere I have my contacts , put in a tab so it can be viewed , thats basic needs

  14. Suggestion regarding opening of attachments in the email itself

    I have one very important feedback. Can you guys make feature that would allow us to open attachments in the email it self rather than downloading it?

  15. This version sucks

    Too many extra clicks / steps to do what I used to be able to do directly with 1 click. Why is a large portion of my screen now taken up with the right side where it has starred items, calender, etc.... I'm cancelling Yahoo Mail Plus because the space that I wanted is now taken up with ******** that I dont need or want with no way to remove it
    This is finally a reaqson to leave Yahoo mail as my primary email
    Yahoo is too WOKE anyway

  16. Glitches in the New Mail

    I tried to schedule an email to send later, it didn't work the first time. Had to open it back up and try again.
    Also tried adding a new contact and it doesn't have a way to save, so I can't add the email as a new contact.

  17. Make sender e-mail address visable without needing to view the body of an e-mail

    To help avoid phishing/scam/malware e-mails, within the Inbox (or any mail folder), please make viewing the sender's e-mail address clearly visible by default, WITHOUT needing to open or view the contents of an e-mail (the same way you can see the sender's name right now).

    For example, I might receive an e-mail that says from: "PayPal" with a Subject of: "Thank you for your order of $900". In the body of the e-mail it might say, open the attached invoice file to view your order details. Currently, I must hover over the e-mail with my mouse to see the e-mail…

  18. Fix Classic Outlook client integraton

    I'm migrating from comcast to yahoo email. In the classic outlook client, when my email tries to send/receive from the yahoo server, I get a popup box to accept terms and conditions. I click "Accept" but nothing happens and my only choice is to click the "X" to close the popup. When I do that the send/receive fails. It works properly on my iphone, ipad, and in the new outlook client but the new outlook client has other issues and Microsoft recommends using the classic client.
