WHAT'S NEW?
Reply/Forward Icons - You can see the arrow icons when you've replied or forwarded to a message.
Up/Down Arrow, Scrolls Now - In full message view, not preview pane.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the email to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox. 
Search Results Will Show Folder - Now when you do a search, where the emails are located will show up.


COMING SOON!
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
AI Summaries - Ability to disable this under Settings.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Drag and drop messages to folders - Just click and hold on an email message, then drag and drop that message into a different folder. 
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders. 
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.

  1. Trash box moved

    Please move the Trash box back to the top with the inbox. I deleted a message by mistake and it took me half an hour to find it.

  2. select today for delete all

    Why would you take out the option to have a button to select all in order to delele several emails at once. You use to be able to separate your emails by day and week, then be able to delete them all at once. Now you force us to delete each email one at a time. it is very time consuming. If you did this to force us to pay for your subscription in order to have this feature, then you may have just found a way to lose your members and go to another provider. Or at least just…

  3. Show video preview when including a link to a video in Compose

    Attaching a link to a video in the "new" mail does not create a preview of the video like "old" mail did, even though the settings has the switch set on to create the preview. Still works fine in the "old" version. Please fix.

  4. Message Deleted pop up

    Please remove the pop-up "Message Deleted" within emails. It's not helpful when going through email and needing to delete quickly.

  5. Edit layout

    Please add ability to change the layout and claim the screen space currently occupied by the starred messages, etc. widget and hence, widen the mail reader main widget... Thanks!

    Why isn't the trash folder available on the left Nav pane. Why click the ellipses to get to it. That is very microsoft-esque, meaning a barrier to productivity.

    What happened to the spam folder? I used to be able to move junk to the spam folder. Span is no longer an option it seems.

  13. website broken

    The website interface is not working, but the app on mobile seems okay. On the website, I can't open mail, I can't file mail in folders and I can't mark messages. I tried to forward a message and it didn't go through.

  14. Read Messages Appearance

    When you read a message, it changes to gray in the inbox. At least in light mode. That makes it look like I have multiple messages selected. I'd prefer it if the only messages that stood out were unread messages, and any read messages' background would match the color of the appearance you're in. So for light mode, the background of a read message in the inbox would be white, not gray.

  15. drafts appearing in inbox

    1. compose a message.
    2. X out of it. RESULT: after a few moments, the message appears in your Inbox. It does not appear in your drafts. EXPECT: It should appear in drafts and not in Inbox.

    Sometimes multiple intermediate drafts appear in your inbox.

  16. getting rid of spam

    It used to be, with spam, that you blocked sender and then the spam was permanently deleted. Now, when spam is blocked, it is then sent to the trash folder from where is now has to be deleted.
    change it back to the old way; this new way doubles the work of getting those spam emails out of your email

  18. PUT a BLOCK symbol on top tool bar. so when you check mail you wish to block in future, yahoo servers can block that mial.

    You need a BLOCK MAIL choice at top tool bar

  19. My Current Yahoo email is working very slow and too many advertisements in it. it is very confusing

    My yahoo email is not working the way it was working before. it is very slow and confusing when compare it with previous version which was fast and easy.

  20. Need to be able to pin additional folder options

    Right now the Spam, Archive, Trash, Settings, etc. features are all hidden in the ellipsis menu when there is a lot of extra space in the left hand navigation pane. These options should be optionally hidden (pin / unpin) vs. having go to the hidden menu all the time (especially for Spam mail). Also we lost "empty all spam messages" feature in the redesign.

    It would also be nice to be able to re-order the navigation pane.
