Please make keyboard shortcuts optional or give us option to toggle them on or off
I have accidentally sent half-finished emails because of the keyboard shortcuts. I really don't like this feature.

Dark mode is not dark. The entire screen should be enabled to dark background with light lettering.
I was excited for the "dark mode" I use this with my work and other group email platforms. Unfortunately Yahoo's dark mode only changes everything but what is most important, the messages. While reading long emails the white background makes it difficult to read and ultimately for longer emails, I have to copy the text and paste into a document with actual dark mode to not get a headache from the stark white background. I do enjoy my yahoo mail which I have had since yahoo came about. With this major flaw paying for Yahoo premium for something other email…

Have better spam filters
You constantly let through VERY CLEARLY spam emails that contain ~~~**** and all sorts of weird characters and fonts. It's very clearly spam and I have no idea how your filters don't catch it. FIX IT.

Please bring back the Sort by Subject feature
In the old version you let us sort our box by subject. This was awesome! No other mail service has this feature and it made you stand out. Do you ever think about bringing it back?

POP/IMAP Integration?
Hello,
I'm a long time Yahoo Mail user and have been a paying member for probably a decade. I remember a long long time ago we were able to connect outside pop accounts to Yahoo and send and reply straight from the yahoo client/interface. It's great to have this feature for small business owners, where we can connect our personal domains to yahoo and use this as our main email client when connected via browser.

Remove the ads from the bottom of the email reading screen
The ads to the side are somewhat unobtrusive, but now with ads at the top of the email and at the bottom of the email, there's hardly room for the message! Please remove the ad banner from the bottom of the email. This has gone too far!!!!

Remove Yahoo Scout
I received an email that said my son was dead because your AI is so flawed!! Imagine getting an email from your childs school and the giant headline is your childs name passing and describing how they trragically passed away! This is not acceptable. My wife was hysterical,This is not OK!!
It was an email from the school about a student that passed away and it was regarding my son because he was in the same class and that is what Yahoo Scout created.57th ranked -

Back ground should be different.
I am using yahoo mail's latest version.
There is a error in mail box, When you apply dark theme
You can not find the new mail due to the color of background.

Contact alphabetizing - first or last name always changes back to first name!!!!!!!
Please instruct me how to maintain LAST NAME selection! It reverts to first name in minutes after I select last!!!!

fix the appearance of inbox
The new Yahoo inbox is really hard to glance quickly to check my inbox. It looks like google and I purposely don't use google for that reason. Please consider changing or at least giving people an option for the following:
- Get rid of the circle icon next to who email is from. I can see their name, the logo/initial circle just makes screen too busy
- Allow users to adjust email spacing. I can see fewer emails at a quick glance than I used to
- Stop the graying out of read messages. Again, adding multiple colors to the page just adds…

Download file - open in new tab
When i try to download an attachment in the new yahoo, the tab navigates to some kind of tokenized page for the real attachment to finally load in another new tab. the current tab loses the back button feature and the only way i know is to type the mail.yahoo.com back in the browser url.
Either find a way to process this token exchange without navigatng away from the page OR allow a middle click to opn this operation in a new tab.

List of Read mails have the same background color
When we have all our emails read, the background color on the email turned to light grey. Say I have 10 read emails on top half of the screen, i clicked on the first one and I can read that email in the lower half of screen. Then I start moving down to 2,3,4th email one by one and keeps reading them. But at one point I forgot that what email I am on because all the emails in the list has the same background color, and the email that I clicked on, does not show any different background color.…

email box is empty
I keep all my personal data in uoishi@ymail.com. I recently went there and it is empty.. My brother's email is empty. How can I bring int all back. I had a tecnition try and all the search methods did not bring it back. Can you tell me yahoo's policy that they can delete all these files. If you do this , I need to tell my friends to be carefull

Assistance
This is the only avenue to contact someone that I have found. I have had two email accounts for many years. They are rb7632@yahoo.com (my PRIMARY email for all those years) and rb7632@att.net. Recently I was informed that the yahoo account and address had been deactivated for "lack of use" I have been trying to contact to assist me to restore BOTH of these accounts immediately. Bring back BLOCKED emails
You have removed the ability to BLOCK email senders. This is highly useful for malicious and spam senders. Now we only have the ability to delete all messages from this sender. However, this will not stop the sender. They can still send spam or worse. PLEASE restore the BLOCK SENDER option that you recently removed.

After a user has read an email, make sure it remains marked as read.
Currently, whenever I receive an email with the exact same title of an email I previously received, all emails with that title are marked unread, even those which have were previously read and marked read. This creates the chore of distinguishing between actual unread mail and previously read mail. The chore can be extensive when lots of people reply to an email. You need to fix this ASAP. It detracts enormously from the efficient use of Yahoo Mail.
