Unfortunately, you cannot revert back. We are only making the new one better. We know change is frustrating and hard but we really hope you'll give the new layout a fair chance.



WHAT'S NEW:
Calendar - We moved it from under "More" on the right hand side to it's own icon. Still on the right hand side, but it's now the first icon next to Starred and Contacts.

TIPS:
Disable Inbox Categories (All, Primary, etc) - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Inbox Categories.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Sort By Sender - This is still a sorting option, but you must disable Conversation view under your Settings. Then you will see "Sender name"
Disable AI Summaries - Go to Settings > AI features > Toggle Off
Unread Count - You can hover over "Inbox" to see the Unread count or you can expand the left hand column and Unread will be in the column below Inbox with the unread count. No hovering.

  1. Fix compact view by making sure "inbox spacing option" is available in settings

    You replied about having spacing options in viewing emails in list mode. I replied to that email with screenshots where you can see that on my end in my inbox, there is no option anywhere to change inbox spacing. You provided instructions, and yet I was unable to follow them because the option you are describing simple doesn't appear on my end. I even upgraded to the yahoo plus version, and still no option for spacing to give me the compact view I had before. Please check again, and advise back.

  2. Please let me revert until this is ready

    Tabs don't work. Spacing is too wide. Site now regularly freezes and crashes. Alternate inboxes harder to navigate. Preview pane is too small to be usable, and header is way too big. Please let me revert to the old Yahoo until you fix these obvious and problematic issues. I really don't want to set up a new email client. Thank you.

  3. Get rid of icons

    Have a way to get rid of the annoying icons in front of each email. They make the page too busy, hard to look at. It is bad enough you forced the new format on us, you can at least let us adjust it to make it more to our own liking.

  4. Your new look is very bad , please switch me back to classical view of yahoo

  5. Block senders directly from Spam Folder

    Please make it so we can block senders directly from Spam Folder. I sometimes have 10 or more and want to block and then delete all. I do not want to move them all to my in box that has over 100+ and then have to delete and block them individually from there.

  6. Go back to the old format

    I am not happy that yahoo now looks very similar to gmail. I specifically liked the old format. I cannot be the only one.

  7. Turn off the Inbox Streaks and Achievements

    Give us the option to turn off the Inbox Streaks and Achievements, I don't like Streaks and Achievements feature it doesn't make sense to have it on a email, it's not a video game.

  8. need to expand the message reading area

    im have severe difficulties reading my messages as the viewing box area in place now cuts off the message & i need to use the left / right arrows to move the message over - you need to do this as the easy option - move the icons on the right of the message page ( calendar , starred , contacts , settings & the 3 dots ) over next to the lightning bolt icon ( which needs to be removed - imho dont like it ) and now you can expand the message to the full area of the…

  10. Fix Yahoo.ca email

    It is now a complete piece of ....
    1) It locks up after sending an email and I have to get out of yahoo email and then back in to unlock it
    2) it used to have a save button to make sure you didn't loose an email you were making - no more
    3) I could go on and on but it is terrible now.

  11. separate emails in inbox by when received

    Having breaks in the inbox between emails received today, yesterday, this week, this month, and earlier would be extremely helpful in finding things. More helpful than most of the features that you are adding.

    My first Idea would be to bring back "My Yahoo" along with the classic email or just let us switch back to what we had. My second idea would be to increase the font size-the font is way too small now. and add the option of either the blue/light blue background and the pink/purple backgrounds. My last idea is to make this optional. Do not force this on others. Let others go back to the other email setting they liked. Everyone is not interested in AI.   14. worst email app change ever

    Go back to the old themes I can not find a email from 10 days ago since YOU decided it was not it in priority grouping. I click "all" and once I LOOK AT SOMETHING AND CLICK ON MY INBOX AND IT DEFAULTS TO PRIORITY. You created more clicks for the sake of add revenue. Stop It......

  16. Sorting the email boxes!

    I want my most used/important email box at the top of the list. Somehow, one of my mailboxes that ISN'T my most important is at the top so EVERY time I open Yahoo Mail, I have to find my main email box. I am actively looking for a replacement for Yahoo mail. I have already cancelled the "no ads" $5/mo add on. You have ruined my email experience.

  17. Bring Back Colour Options

    The new yahoo mail update, when viewed on a computer, only offers light mode and dark mode (no more colour customizations like previously). Either option is unpleasant to view. When the toolbar/top bar are the same colour as the emails, it just looks like a giant white (or black) page filled with a bunch of text. Visually very disorganized/cluttered feel. Bringing back colours (or even the option to make the toolbar/top bar black and the emails white, for example) would visually make a huge difference.   20. stop this sex mail i want a way to permanently block it all what can i do about underage and still getting this trash

    i am constantly getting sex spam mail that i never subscribed to or clicked on anything to get .. i want this **** stopped as it is offensive and against my beliefs .. you give no way to block this trash .. i don't even want it to enter my spam mail because i have to see the filth either give me an option to pernamently block this garbage or i will be reporting this to authorities .. you don't know if i have underage kids that could see this trash
