WHAT'S NEW?
Search by Sender - Just hover over the sender's profile image and a spyglass icon will appear where you can search all emails by that sender.
Multi-Tasking Tabs - Like before, open an email in a new tab.
AI Summaries - Ability to disable. Go to Settings > AI Features > Toggle Off
Number of Total Messages - Hover over the Inbox Icon and you will see both total number of messages and unread.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.

Differentiate Unread v. Read - Better ways to see the difference.
Resize Images - Resize an image within the message.
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently for Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.

  2. Return to old Format please!!

    I wish to return to the old Email format, please. It's easier for me to read at age 79--almost 80 yrs.!! We used to have the option of either the new or old format. Now as of Easter Weekend seems we have not option any more?!!

    I find the background far too bright to watch! Have had both cataracts removed, no problems with my sight, but this brightness is too much.
    The Omoji's useage are not the the same either? Used to expose most used ones to reuse. That's no longer an option?!!

  3. put Keyword back into the Search function

    Put Keyword back into the Search function. I'm looking for a bill and I have the dollar amount. If I could search on the dollar amount I could find the bill. Sender and date are pretty much useless in this case

  5. Keep "reply", "reply all", "forward", "Read/Unread", "Star", "Move", "Delete" & "Spam" buttons positions static.

    In the latest edition of the Yahoo mail, the "reply all" button has been made conditional where it appears or disappears based on whether the email chain has one or more persons on it. When this happens, the location of the delete and spam buttons to move. Previously, I would keep my mouse on the delete button and keep clicking on it as I am going down my emails. Now, when the "reply all" button disappears, the spam button shifts to the location where the delete button used to be. And unintentionally, I end up marking the email as spam…

  8. NEW VS OLD VERSION

    I HAVE LOOKED OVER THE NEW AGAIN AND IT CAN BE OKAY I GUESS.
    ONE ADVANTAGE IS A WAY TO "BLOCK" SOME SENDERS OF TRASHY SLIMY EMAILS.
    I HAVE TO THANK YOU FOR THAT.

    HOWEVER I DON'T LIKE THE IDEA OF YAHOO AUTOMATICALLY DELETING PERSONAL EMAILS WITHOUT
    ASKING WE THE YAHOO EMAIL SUBSCRIPTION HOLDER.FIRST?
    OR IS THERE AN OPTION TO NOT HAVE EMAILS AUTOMATICALLY DELETED?

  10. clicking outside the selector box of an email cancels all selected emails for deletion

    This drives me nuts. When i'm cleaning out emails, junk or otherwise, by selecting emails by clicking the box next to them, if i miss a box ALL the emails i've selected get de-selected. Then i have to go through it again. Huge pain. Please fix this.

  11. Calendar Feedback

    Why have red/yellow green flag notations at all when they don't show up on my calendar page? And why can't I see all of events that I've entered onto a certain date? I use the flags to help find certain events when I need to remind myself of something. And I don't want to go through extra steps to view the whole day, regardless if was in the past or the future. In short, IMO, the current format sucks 💩.

  12. Ads: Fake Checkboxes - Looks Like an Email

    Ads in my inbox should not be permitted to look like a checkbox to get clicks.

    I had an ad with a box that appeared to be a checkbox, I clicked and it took me to what appeared to be a malicious link. I think it is likely something as a scare tactic to sell some form of PC protection service.

  13. Advertisement issues - Virus

    advertisements that can result in a virus like encounter should not be allowed on yahoo mail. the ad prompted me to a page which resulted in a screen and audio claiming my computer was corrupted and i should not shut or close the computer and asked me to call Microsoft at the telephone number on the screen. because i was afraid to do that i had to shut the computer down manually and reboot.

  15. Have differnt Star Colors

    I was thinking it would be great if the user could change the star color from just red. I personally star a tone of emails but they are for different things like work, purchase orders, medical and so on. So for example, I could star my work emails with a yellow star and for medical a blue star and so on. Just food for thought.

  16. Customizable buttons

    please, make available the possibility to change the order the fast buttons command over the message ....for example, I use frequently the button "archive", but I have to find in the menu because is not immediately available.... maybe you can do a customizable function for the buttons. Thank you. Lorenzo

  17. Offer support - filters are not working

    There is not place I see where I can request support or help. I am trying to filter my email be sender, and I choose that option, but my email doesn't respond. It still filters by date.

  19. Function for removing emails is not working

    The function for deleting all unread messages does NOT remove more than 100 even when I mark Remove all.
    Please sort this out before askinfg your customer to pay for storage.

  20. Email view settings: Compact view

    Thanks for the new interface. however, it would be great to continue having the compact / comfortable space options to view email. this feature seems to have been remove and it now takes more scrolls to view email at a glance
