WHAT'S NEW?
Search by Sender - Just hover over the sender's profile image and a spyglass icon will appear where you can search all emails by that sender.
Multi-Tasking Tabs - Like before, open an email in a new tab.
AI Summaries - Ability to disable. Go to Settings > AI Features > Toggle Off
Number of Total Messages - Hover over the Inbox Icon and you will see both total number of messages and unread.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.

Differentiate Unread v. Read - Better ways to see the difference.
Resize Images - Resize an image within the message.
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently for Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.

    There used to be a saying about Communist China, that whatever flaws the West had, at least we didn't need to build a wall to keep our people in. Your 'new' yahoo mail sucks so bad that the only way you'll get people to use it is by forcing them to not be able to go back to the actually usable, ergonomic, decent old basic Yahoo email that is infinitely better.   4. Bug: Disabling AI Message Summaries toggle does not work (stuck on generic previews)

    I turned off the "Message summaries" toggle in Settings, but my inbox won't revert to normal. It is stuck showing generic AI text like "Linkedin has sent you job alerts for..." instead of the actual company and role details.

    I have already tried:

    1, Turning the toggle on and off again.

    1. Hard-refreshing the browser (Ctrl+F5).

    2. Logging completely out and logging back in.

    The UI says it is turned off, but the inbox is completely failing to update. Please fix this caching issue!

  6. Dating apps to be removed from my feed

    Hello, please could you advertise something else to me on my Yahoo? I do not want to see any dating apps or nonsense like this on my feed. It is growing increasingly annoying.

    Ok, this new version of Yahoo Mail that was released is frustrating. Now if I'm replying or forwarding, I am unable to see what email address it is that I'm sending to!? This is very effectively inhibiting usability. I click on the recipient name to see the email address, but it just turns it to show only the plain text of the display name - no email address!? If I hover over the name, I can see a tooltip with the email address, but there is no longer a way to even copy it!? There doesn't seem to be any…

  9. Also annoyting to have to sign in again to whatever?? to post a comment

    I was already signed in to my email account - why do I also have to log in again to the other stupid thing! How much did you pay some idiot to add this additional step to encroach on one's privacy even though by having and signing into my email account I already have identified myself!!!

  10. Please STOP asking me to use a passkey, etc.

    I am using a desktop so fingerprint login is absurd and I don't want a passkey. Asking a couple of times is fine, but it is EVERY SINGLE TIME I log in, so login takes an extra step EVERY SINGLE TIME. If I want a passkey, I will set one up. Otherwise LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!!! This becomes extremely annoying over and over and over and over and over again (get it??) I am sure you pay designers well to help make use of Yahoo easier, so why can't they figure this out???

    I am not receiving mails in my inbox for last 2-3 days. This was because of mail box being full. Now i Have purchased an additional 100 GB of space. Still I am not able to see the mail in my inbox for 2-3 days. Please look into it and resolve. Thanks

    This entirety of yahoo email system is gay and so ******* unfriendly. It sucks! It is your way to control and scam and market and sell the user data. I hate this ******* platform. Moving on and deleting this piece of **** email system ****! HATE IT and HATE Yahoo!

  17. Default to all

    Right now when i log into yahoo mail, the default listing is "Primary".

    I can select the mail view to be "all", "Primary", "Offers", "Social", and "Newsletters"

    I would like to set my default dashboard to "All" upon log in and filter from there as I see fit.

    Also, Don't ever put AI summaries in an email I open. I scored really high on comprehension and your AI didn't.

  19. Newly launched Yahoo Mail makes it frustratingly difficult to navigate email

    Hi, I opened my email today to find that it's been updated. I'm using it in a web browser. The first thing I noticed is that when slowly scrolling down, the pagination-based loading makes my view of the email list jump down and skip many emails, so I lose my place. I scroll back up to find the emails it skipped past, then it jumps way up again, past the emails I was trying to see.
