1. Request to Restore Missing Emails & Folder Name Issue on Yahoo Mail via Outlook

   Dear Yahoo Mail Support,

   I am experiencing an issue with my Yahoo Mail account when using it with Outlook. I have created a new folder in Outlook and moved some emails into it. However, when I rename the folder, it automatically reverts to the original name, and the emails inside disappear.

   I have tried checking my Yahoo Mail via the web, but I could not find the emails in the original folder, Trash, or Spam. Could you please help me restore the missing emails and investigate why folder renaming causes data loss?

   Here are the details of my account and issue:
   
   - Yahoo Email Address: eunicechan149168@yahoo.com
   - Issue Occurred: this is the third time (last 2 times, i forgot the time) today is 2 April 2025
   - Steps Taken: Created a folder in Outlook → Moved emails → Renamed folder → Folder name reverted, and emails disappeared
   
   - Emails Affected: employment letter, air ticket and donation receipt

   I would appreciate your assistance in recovering the lost emails. Please let me know if you need further details.

3. NEW EMAIL AND UNREAD IN DARK MODE HARD TO DIFFERENTIATE

   In the new version of Yahoo Mail, any read and unread messages in dark mode are so hard to differentiate. It was better in the older version.

4. Sent Folder - Mass Actions

   I'm trying to clean up my sent folder. There is no way to select multiple messages and do a mass action on them such as delete, move, archive, mark read/unread. You have to do them one message at a time. Bring back all of the action buttons that used to be at the top and also the select all messages checkbox. I don't know why these aren't there. Should be at least consistent with the other folders especially because the sent folder is one of the main folders in any email app.

5. Photos View

   There used to be an images or photos folder on the side that showed you all the images in your emails all together in a collage of thumbnails.

   It was a critical search feature to my work.

   Now, I know I can click on the advanced search function and click the "photo pill" but that does not help at all.

   Sure, it sorts out the emails that contain photos, but it does not display the images unless you click into each individual email, so you have no way of locating the picture you are looking for quickly or easily. You literally have to dig through your emails one by one instead of seeing all the images at once.

   Why would you take this simple feature away? It is impossible to search for a particular photo without spending hours now.

   Reading and responding to emails within a chain is almost entirely unusable. You don't need to include the entire chain of responses with every reply it makes is so confusing and unreadable.

7. Contacts List Cut Off

   1) I am not able to add a new contact to my contact list. When I open up New Contact, the box does not provide enough room for me to input the contact data. Only 1/2 of the contact information box is visible, as the contact information box is blocked by the inbox emails to its left. Can this please be fixed.

   2) Also, why did you discontinue "attach document from previous email" as an attachment option when sending documents? The only option is to attach documents from my files. Your previous version was far more user friendly when it offered "previous email documents" to be attached to a new email. It was so user convenient when sending out multiple emails with the same document attachment. PLEASE RETURN TO THE PREVIOUS WAY, or at least provide that option again.

8. Attach from Recent Email Attachment Option

   I see the attach from computer option for adding attachments to new emails, but where did the Attach From Recent Email option go? It was very handy and saved time not having to download and reattached. Bring back 'attach from recent email' option.

9. Scrolling through mail is jumpy as it skips emails

   Scrolling through email is impossible. I use the scroll wheel on my mouse to look through email as I use a pc. I can start at the top and after one or two short scrolls down it jumps down so I miss several hours of emails For example, my newest email came at 6:12pm today..After I get down to 4:20pm it jumps to mail received at 1pm without my even scrolling and when I go back up I see I missed 32 emails received. No matter how many times I go back to the top and try again it always happens. It's frustrating as I can't read what's in my inbox if it's going to keep skipping emails. This never occurred in the old format. Something is wrong. Maybe you make this version for phone and not for pcs? Then you need to offer two separate versions, one an app and the other a web based service like old mail.

10. incorrect translation in dark mode

    In dark mode a few emails which have black print on a white background will not show the print in the email it will just be a white space. It will however show pictures and banners.

12. Attachment Split View

    I do not like the preview of an attachment taking over the whole screen! Please have it come up to the side of the email like it did in Classic. Better yet... GIVE US CLASSIC BACK!!!!!!

15. Resize Images Within Emails

    When adding an image in an email in the new yahoo email, you cannot resize the image. You could do this in the Classic Email when you added an in-message image. I believe there you could make it small/med/large. New Email does not seem to allow any resizing. Please add this feature.

16. Images continue to show despite changing setting, this is unsafe

    I want to use the new Yahoo mail but it feels unsafe to do so until the images are truly blocked. They are still there for me. But when I switch to the older version they are gone.

17. 'Message preview' bug

    under Settings---> Appearance---> Message Preview...the toggle to 'Show message preview in inbox' is not working...no matter if I set it On or Off it always reverts to On...I want to disable 'Message Preview'

    I've tried using multiple web browsers including Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome...I also refreshed my browser afterwards...it's a bug in the new Yahoo Mail software...please share this with the Support Team to fix

18. double click on name in address field

    In the previous version, I could double click on a name in address field to display the email address and allow copying. Now it doesn't allow that. It shows the persons address but there's not a way to copy & paste it.
