Selecting emails with the checkbox and accidentally clicking on an email unselects the checkboxes
It might be a nice idea to think it over if this is the intended user experience. For me it feels weird.

Wrong display of some international characters
Some Slovak characters are displayed wrong in mail titles (desktop browser): For example the caron over capital letter D (Ď) is displayed over the next character (example in "Ďakujeme" is displayed over a).
The placement is correct in mobile app(Android), however, all the specific Slovak characters are displayed in regular type, not bold - as the rest of the letters in email titles.
This works fine in the old version on desktop and used to work in the old version of the android app on the same device.57th ranked -

Be able to recall sent messages
I suggest that Yahoo can let the user to recall his/her messages just in case it was sent wrongly or needed to add more information on the composed email. This will be an additional idea for improvement.

Keep inbox in the same place it was when you opened a search window
When you close a search window, please bring the user back to wherever in their inbox they initiated the search, rather than the top of their inbox. It is very frustrating when you are, for example, 100 messages into your inbox, click search, then close the search window and end up at the top of your inbox and you have to scroll back to where you want to be. The previous version of Yahoo brought you back to where you were in your inbox when you initiated the search, not to the top of your inbox.

Keep delete and archive button stationary
If you have a bunch of emails you want to delete, and you hover over Delete and keep clicking, expecting the same action to happen, but the button shifts over for some emails, you end up doing an action you don't want. Please add any extra buttons at the end, and do not shift everything over!

Unread Selection on the new mail is not working
The “Mark as Unread” option in the new mail interface is not functioning as expected. The change is neither reflected in the inbox view nor reopening the application.

Allow email to be sorted by sender
Please add back the ability to sort by Sender in the Inbox and other folders. This feature disappeared after the Comcast migration. Many users rely on sorting by Sender to clean up, organize, and locate emails efficiently. The current options (Newest, Oldest, Largest) are not enough.

Make the Big ad in the right hand side, smaller.
Please make the right sided ad in email, smaller. It takes up MOST of the screen and my actual inbox is smaller. I realize you do this probably for people to purchase the "Ad free" option but I'm not doing that. Thank you

Rocketmail domain emails now being rejected by Microsoft domains
Getting bounces sending to Microsoft domains from my rocketmail account. This will make these email addresses useless if not fixed.

550: 5.7.515 Access denied, sending domain ROCKETMAIL.COM doesn't meet the required authentication level.

Make it easier to select emails in list (clickable checkbox too small)
In my Yahoo Mail Plus inbox I frequently select several email to delete them or mark them as spam. However the box to select an email is rather small, so I frequently will go into the email detail screen. And when I go back all selections are gone, which is annoying, especially since it happens with alarming regularity.
Example: In my inbox email list I have already 10 emails selected and on the 11th email my mouse click slightly misses the checkbox, so the screen navigates to the email detail screen of that 11th email. When I go back to…

Please find emails YOU lost
I have had two emails vanish after clicking on them, dated Jan 30 and Feb 6. They are very
important and want them back, especially Feb 6. There is no reason they should vanish.
I checked all the folders and have searched with just one of the three total emails showing up.All three are from Marcus Lucas. I am really getting sick of this failure to protect my emails.
Please find them.

Option to Permanently Disable Right Hand Column
https://help.yahoo.com/kb/SLN37104.html is incorrect. This only works for the current browser pane. EVERY time a user loads the mail site, they have to carefully select the control (only a few pixels wide) to hide the enormous (and almost never useful) right pane. "Hiding" it needs to be something that is remembered for the next site access.
Is the ability to permanently "minimize" the starred/contacts panel? By putting it behind the "PLUS" subscription you are tacitly admitting that it is a user-hostile and unwanted "feature" that people will pay to remove/fix. If we're paying to remove it, at least let us actually…

Please bring back the block in the spam folder before opening the spam
I can no longer block spam. The option is now gone. I keep getting the same spam over and over, and all I can do is keep deleting it. If I had the "block" option back, I wouldn't have to see it anymore.
