Unfortunately, you cannot revert back. We are only making the new one better. We know change is frustrating and hard but we really hope you'll give the new layout a fair chance.



WHAT'S NEW:
Calendar - We moved it from under "More" on the right hand side to it's own icon. Still on the right hand side, but it's now the first icon next to Starred and Contacts.

TIPS:
Disable Inbox Categories (All, Primary, etc) - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Inbox Categories.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Sort By Sender - This is still a sorting option, but you must disable Conversation view under your Settings. Then you will see "Sender name"
Disable AI Summaries - Go to Settings > AI features > Toggle Off
Unread Count - You can hover over "Inbox" to see the Unread count or you can expand the left hand column and Unread will be in the column below Inbox with the unread count. No hovering.

  1. Why not? Why can't I revert back?

    I might be interested in trying your new design, but not today. Why not let me explore the new design another day, when I have time to think about this? What harm is there in allowing me to continue to use the tried and true design until I have time? Do you see how I might think you are just being mean ?

  2. Bring back the font options. Bring back the left panel collapse option. Just leave the main area maximized w/ no side panel things!

  3. Too much white space on inbox view, make it have less white space

    The inbox view has too much white space. In the previous version, I could see a list of emails, including the sender name and subject, all listed one after the other, with little white space between each line. Now, I see probably only half or less of the emails on the inbox page compared to the previous version.
    I suggest you provide an inbox view with less white space.

  4. Filter SPAM better

    I never had the volume and trashy content of spam that I have since "improved" Yahoo - I used to have a couple of spam messages each day and once in a while it snuck into my inbox - now, every day there is a LOT of it and some of it is inappropriate - do better

  5. Yahoo toolbar covers most of my emails. Make it smaller!!!

    Yahoo toolbar is too big and covers my emails. I can't see the full picture w/o scrolling. Make it smaller.

  6. Dark Mode differentiation _ Read vs Unread

    When set to Dark Mode and scanning Inbox, it is very hard to see unread emails as they don't stand out enough vs read emails.

  7. Remove the giant "Unsubscribe" button when hovering over message in Inbox

    In the new Mail interface, simply hovering over a line in the Inbox shows a bunch of icons (folder, star, trash) as well as a giant "Unsubscribe" button. That "Unsubscribe" button is much larger than any of the other icons, and is much too easy to click on accidentally when I simply want to open the email message to view it. Personally, I don't need any "Unsubscribe" button at that level at all, but if you have to have one there, just make it MUCH smaller icon.

  8. chronological sorting

    Make it easy to flip my emails so the oldest are on top. That way I can easily clean out my old and no longer useful emails without trying to scroll all the way back for several years' worth. Maybe put "sort" next to contacts and calendar.

  9. Make the page fit my screen.

    Your page doesn't fit my screen. It's too big and there isn't anything in settings to make it fit.

  10. Disappearing Delete Button

    When you delete one email in your inbox and the next email shifts into its place, the delete button disappears. In the old (better) version of yahoo, I could keep my mouse in the same location and click multiple times to delete emails sequentially. Please fix this bug.

  12. Connection problem!

    I have Norton security, and recently, whenever I log onto Yahoo, I have started receiving a message telling me that https//tps-dn-ue1,doubleverify,com is not a secure website. Your assistance with this concern is greatly appreciated.

  16. Get rid of these annoying pop-up message boxes

    One of the things I most despise about this 'gummie' re-design is the annoying message boxes telling me things I either already know or things I have no interest in knowing.

    Dear Heaven, why can't the standard/classic interface be reverted to?

  18. Stop the popups

    The popups are annoying, as if I was not aware of what I am doing.
    BTW, the list of categories in the feedback is not necessary or even complete. So you're saying your AI is not capable of sorting the feedback?

  20. Take away that "All" tab

    Why have that "All" tab to go to and see other Emails. EMAILS should ALL be right there like they had been before. I forget sometimes to click there and it's, to me, silly to have when ALL enmails should be right there when one opens Yahoo. The Trash and Spam show ALL the emails,,,, so the regular should also. AGAIN, it was like that (all emails in one place in the beginning) before you changed that way.
