Stop moving buttons
As I go through my emails and ultimately deleting many, the buttons along the top of the preview pane keeps changing locations due to some having the "Reply All" button and some not having it. Please keep buttons in consistent locations.

Make the usable area of the viewing pane bigger by eliminating toolbar and unfreezing headers
1) Right now, when viewing a message in the bottom of the viewing pane, the toolbar is at the top of the message. That takes up precious space -- about 1/4 of the viewing pane -- and should be removed to the top of the inbox where it used to be.
2) The header (i.e., the subject and the sender) of the email in the viewing pane freezes and does not scroll with the rest of the message; it takes up about 1/4 of the viewing pane.

New Yahoo Mail desktop interface – A significant step backward in usability and visual design
I would like to express my disappointment with the new Yahoo Mail desktop interface. Compared to the previous version, several changes have made the experience less pleasant, less intuitive, and, in some cases, more frustrating.
- Flat and poorly differentiated light and dark themes
The new themes are visually monotonous. The light theme is excessively pale, while the dark theme is almost entirely black. Both lack the visual contrast and differentiation that made the previous interface more comfortable to use.

Segregation by date
The old yahoo mail used to group or divide by the date when the email was received. There's no option to even enable it now. Please bring that back

La nuova interfaccia si presenta "piatta"...non c'è un elemento di contrasto sui colori, tutto bianco (o tutto troppo nero con il tema scuro). Non è intuitivo il simbolo della cartella per indicare l'azione di "spostamento", la freccia era molto meglio. Come si passa il mouse sopra la riga di una mail compare "annulla iscrizione" ovunque e il clic per semplicemente aprire in lettura la mail alle volte innesta invece l'annulla iscrizione. Non ci sono temi di sfondo personalizzabili o quanto meno che si possano scegliere. Per me pessima la nuova interfaccia

Improve Search Function (Return To What Was Before What Is Now
Add specific locations to the search feature instead of the entire mailbox. For example, allow search of the inbox only. This was an option before Mail+ was destroyed with the current update. I don't need or want to search all sub-folders but instead want to control where and what I am able to search.

The reading space for emails is only 3 lines!!!
Can we please have more room to read the actual email - the view I get currently only allows me to see 3 lines or about a quarter of an image - that is soooo hard to make sense of!

use the screen better
There is far too much white space which takes away from the ability to cleanly read emails. Why cant I compress the panel on the RH side?
You should consider feedback carefully - the new look is slow to load, hangs very badly on mobile devices and at times is unusable74th ranked -

Όταν κάνεις πολλαπλή επιλογή email, τα επιλεγμένα email δεν επισημαίνονται με διαφορετική απόχρωση, όπως γινόταν στο παλιό Yahoo email (επισημαίνεται με διαφορετική απόχρωση μόνο το τελευταίο επιλεγμένο email), με αποτέλεσμα να μην διακρίνονται εύκολα τα επιλεγμένα email. Πρέπει να διορθωθεί.

Option to remove/minimize/disable the new right-side panel
This panel takes up space and there should be an option to disable it.

Basic Mail
Provide more settings so user can make mail appear like the basic version (i.e., get rid of distracting colored initials/icons before senders names in the inbox, allow adjustment of spacing between e-mails in inbox, allow adjustment of background colors, etc.).
The new forced appearance is not as clean looking as the basic mail and therefore slows down navigation.

Photos - Yahoo going backwards when it should be going forward
Why did you mess up the ability to see all your photos in your inbox it was one of the best features I do not understand why this was pruned. PLease take another look at it and reinstate or let me go back to the old version. Why make it harder to look at all your photos now from your emails it was so quick and easy

Have an option to make the "send from" drop-down visible by default on every reply message
One of the reasons I continue to pay for Yahoo Mail Plus when there are so many free options available for email is the fact that YMP allows the use of multiple email aliases and filters, and I use them frequently. After the change to the new Yahoo Mail format, however, it is harder to send or reply to emails using these alternate email addresses because when I reply to a message that comes through an email re-router (like Craigslist), my reply automatically starts composing the reply from my MAIN EMAIL ADDRESS instead of the alternate address that was actually…

Bold subject lines
Currently the subject line and message preview are visually indistinguishable except for a tiny bullet separating the two, making the inbox a homogeneous mess to read. The subject line needs to be bolded so you can actually tell what it is.

Login screen clutter
When logging in you pick which account to use by clicking on the tile. Only, when you hover over the tile with the email address you want on it, first the delete tile button is too big. Why does it have a central location? It's in the way. Then, if you accidentally hover over your email address you get a black popup with your email address written on it again! And you can't click while it's there! What is the point of this?
Instead, the delete options should be the trash can icon in the lower right in a circle…74th ranked
