TIPS:
Disable Inbox Categories (All, Primary, etc) - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Inbox Categories.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Sort By Sender - This is still a sorting option, but you must disable Conversation view under your Settings. Then you will see "Sender name"
Disable AI Summaries - Go to Settings > AI features > Toggle Off

  1. circle icons at beginning of each email received

    It would be nice to be able to have the option of REMOVING the circle icons at the beginning of each email. They take up too much room in the inbox and most times I find them useless, and distracting. I liked the look of the old email better, without the circle Icons. Thank you.

  3. Light theme is too bright and dark theme is too dark.

    I am a paying yahoo mail plus customer. Your themes are way too bright or way too dark. It's extremely frustrating. I'm almost ready to move on to a different mail service.

  4. Fix my folders

    I wish I could go back to the previous view, this new one stinks because there is too much white space and the font is difficult to read.

    I'm also super ****** you got rid of my folder hierarchy. It looks like you offer subfolders, but my folders were previously organized into subfolders and now that's all lost. You should have had a migration plan.

    I also miss my emails being grouped by time, like week and year.

    Please please please let me go back to what used to work so well.

  5. resize jpg / images inserted in e-mails

    need to be able to resize images pasted into an e-mail. they can be ridiculously large.

  10. Issue with showing name or Avatar when from different name is used for same email

    I found a big bug in both the mobile app and the browser.
    in Mobile App, if I get 2 emails from same email address like donotreply@festiveInvite.com and one has name as Jane Do and the other has John Smith, it will show JD as avatar for both of them as it uses the first one.

    In web, for the above scenario it will show Jane Do for both the emails and any more emails from that address. Noticed while trying to test an app we are trying to launch and how different email providers display information.

  11. More lines per page

    Please narrow the white space between email messages so I can view more without scrolling. I can read what I need to read with more emails listed on one page. IOW, the previous screen was great and it would seem logical for you to offer both.

  14. Message layout needs more options!

    the 3 Message layout options are a waste of space! the 1/4 of the screen showing 'starred messages' / calendar are useless to me. I should be able to shrink that space smaller, or eliminate it! I want to see a larger preview of each email!!

  16. STOP SLOWING DOWN MY APPLE

    I have a MacBook....not an old one, but your new Yahoo mail makes reading email slow. All those stupid icons have to load between deletes or moves. If your goal is to force me to close my Yahoo mail account, you are certainly on the right track.

  18. Make Folder list pane RESIZABLE

    PLEASE make the pane on the left with all the Folders RESIZABLE! The default is WAY TOO NARROW! I need it WIDER so I can actually READ the folder names without them being cut off!!! This USED to work. Why did you BREAK it?

  20. Classic Yahoo mail worked---why fix it if its not broken???

    It's terrible...hard to manage----unread email comes in different boxes---want to return to classic style but there's no way....whoever came up with this New Yahoo Mail...should be FIRED!!! HOW DO I FIX THIS...called up tech support and they were hopeless...reading off their screen of pat answers...
