TIPS:
Disable Inbox Categories (All, Primary, etc) - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Inbox Categories.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Sort By Sender - This is still a sorting option, but you must disable Conversation view under your Settings. Then you will see "Sender name"
Disable AI Summaries - Go to Settings > AI features > Toggle Off

  1. Offer the classic look as an option!!!!

    as a 65 year old email user, I absolutely love hate the new look. Much too many colors and things going on to have an easy experience while trying to use my email. I now have no way to go back to the classic look unfortunately, which I truly wish I could! I've always loved yahoo email, but I now find it very difficult to look at...dark or light setting.

  5. Blocking more unwanted emails

    You need to be able to block more than 1000 unwanted emails, why not make it 10,000 or even 100,000 emails per email address. I'm tired of getting these unwanted junk emails.

  6. no more click icon to scroll back to the top

    you again have deleted or left out another aspect of "yahoo!" email along with the Option of seeing the "unread" blue dot in the open email when choosing to mark it as "unread"

  7. Email multitasking- Several emails open as tabs acroos top

    I really need several Yahoo emails open as tabs across the top back. This new version does not allow this, and I don't seem to have any way to revert to the old version.

  8. Unfortunately Greatly Dislike New Formatting

    My family of 5 primarily use Yahoo, and we all hate the new format without the option to go back to basic. Please bring back the option to switch, thank you.

  9. Get rid of the circle with initials next to each email.

    The colored circles with initials is very distracting. I hate the new email but if you could get rid of those it would be better.

  11. Please Stop Continuos Spam inflow

    I have been inundated with continous spam with obviously fraudulant adresses for 18 months. I have tried every remedy that you recommended. You have forced me to consider going to another email provider...... how can you miss this glaring failure? It is now missing spam or trash and going right back into 'Inbox' now. How can you stay in business like this?

  12. Take your page back to the way it was and leave it alone. We will not adjust to the new format.

    Change is inevitable, but some things need not change. If it ain't broke... don't fix it. Which backwards thinking male came up with this idea to justify his salary. Just leave good things alone.

  14. improve ui design

    main ui shows as 3 columns: 1 mail box selection, 2 email list, 3 options for contacts etc.
    I run a screen set at a higher percent to allow for better reading due to eye sight, this causes the far right column(3) to nearly disappear. Seems to me that the width of left column (1) could be reduced to allow more of far right column (3) to display. Better yet let user drag the widths of the columns to suit their requirements

  15. I like to see how many emails are in each folder. Used to be able to do that, but not anymore, just the inbox. Can you bring it back

    when you hover over a folder it would be nice to see all the emails in it.

  17. Back to Basics

    New Mail is hard to read and hard to configure. The folder list cannot be expanded horizontally, greatly limiting seeing the subfolders. Let me compress the center panel some to compensate. Or better, the big ad area at right.
    Newer is not better. Better is letting users set up the mail layout how they want.

  18. I WANT TO GO BACK TO THE PREVIOUS VERSION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I ABSOLUTELY HATE THE NEW VERSION OF YAHOO MAIL! This is the same as Google Mail and it's the reason I don't use that. Wading through all of the messages and not being able to delete pages of messages without deleting everything wastes an incredible amount of time and then, it's necessary to wade through the Primary, Social and other groups.

    I just checked the Offers tab and decided that clearing it was better than dealing with the waste of time to read the subject of 698 messages! This is ********! I receive far too many spam messages to want…

  19. improve the new Yahoo mail by going back to the old design

    You can improve the new Yahoo mail by going back to the old design. This new UI is visually confusing and just has absolutely ridiculous "smart" features. And an inbox streak, are you kidding me? I'm here to read my email not play a game. Stay in your lane. Are you going to make me have to fight sorcerers next to delete a message? I've been using Yahoo Mail for 20 plus years and this is the kind of garbage that makes me want to leave. I don't like Gmail but at least they don't have this kind of trash…

    PLEASE PLEASE give me an option to go back to the classic view. The new view is very hard to read. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE. I might have to leave yahoo email if you don't change it back... Please.
