Speed it up
The new email is unacceptably slow. Especially deleting emails. There are so many errors. When in an email, and selecting to delete it, it takes about 1 minute to delete the email and return me to the inbox. It's been this way since the new Email launched a month ago or so. Unbearable. It's also super slow to exit an email. If I've double clicked into an email to open it, and want to go back to my inbox, that takes at least 30 seconds. Adding fancy features, and Yahoo made the most basic functionality almost unusable.

Keyboard Shortcuts
Allow pressing delete key to delete checked emails. This is always how I used to delete emails before. I know it's not a huge deal to have to click the trash icon, but I can work faster on my keyboard and this shortcut was nice.

Create an option for users to delete all UNREAD messages with date selection, ie delete all "unread message prior to 1/1/26"

E-mail breach
the Old e-mails you can see by the e-mail sent whither its legit or not by the address, say for instance a scam saying there from E-bay and you paid for an Item and to call a certain Tel ph. nu. or fake Social Security e-mail trying to fish for information, not seeing where it was sent from with this New Setup e-mail of yours.
It brings a great security risk.

Block senders directly from Spam Folder
Please make it so we can block senders directly from Spam Folder. I sometimes have 10 or more and want to block and then delete all. I do not want to move them all to my in box that has over 100+ and then have to delete and block them individually from there.

delete move and spam buttons move as i delete thru messages in my inbox
as I'm reading and deleting thru my emails each morning, it would be nice if the buttons didn't move every once in awhile! The buttons for move/spam/delete etc should be standardized and NOT message dependent. What ends up happening is I accidentally mark some messages as spam because for some reason this new derivation of yahoo mail dynamically changes the order or availability of certain buttons in my inbox - what the heck! Like just standardize them please.

Block Address in Spam
There used to be an option in the Spam folder, where under the three dots on the right, there was an option to Block Email Address. This was very helpful and I used it. Now this has disappeared and you have to go to More, then Security, then laboriously add each email address and save it. Please bring back the easier 'block address' option to automate this. Also, I'm worried by the limit of 1000 addresses, I'm already on 860. Thanks.

Stop moving the delete (trash can icon)
Stop moving the trash can icon (delete) when I am deleting messages. I delete a message and then the arrow is over "folder" without my moving it. I can't repeatedly click delete, because I have to move the arrow to find the trash can again. Stop moving the icons.

Problems with deleting emails individually.
I feel that since one of the last updates, it has been more difficult to delete emails individually in the list. I'm not exactly sure what the change was, but I often end up opening an email instead of deleting. Perhaps the trash icon could be larger, or a few pixels the area around it could wider? Also, perhaps fewer emails could be selected with the "select all". It's too large of a group to risk deleting at a time. Thanks for your time!

Why can't I add Spam email addresses into Blocked Senders anymore?

Give me back the option to delete a spam and sender option
Give me back the option to DELETE EMAILS for both Spam and SENDER option so I do not get repeat emails from the sender , I had this option prior to your changes and this now allows spam emails to bombard me, Your changes now allow spam from senders to continue sending me emails

why can I only block 1000 senders. with all the garbage junk e-mail these days, I need to be able to block way more than 1000
change the maximum "blocked senders" to 5,000

Delete unwanted folders
Why cant I delete a folder I no longer use? I don't need folders that say drafts, scheduled and archive so why cant I do something else with them? They take up too much space at the top.

Disappearing Delete Button
When you delete one email in your inbox and the next email shifts into its place, the delete button disappears. In the old (better) version of yahoo, I could keep my mouse in the same location and click multiple times to delete emails sequentially. Please fix this bug.

Blocking spam senders
The previous version of Yahoo Mail would have an option to block a particular spam sender. This mail did go to spam but after blocking certain senders, my spam folder would not be so long. PLEASE BRING BACK THAT OPTION.

Critical Feedback: Broken Spam Management and Hidden Regressions in Free Accounts
The current state of spam management in Yahoo Mail is completely broken, forcing free users into an incredibly tedious, manual workflow just to maintain a clean inbox.
Previously, users could select multiple spam emails via checkmarks and block them instantly in bulk. Removing this feature forces users to open each email individually, copy the sender's address, paste it into a temporary composed email draft to group them, and then manually create individual filters. align messages again to ease deletion process
On my desktop I used to be able to delete messages one after another without having to move my mouse. Now the first is deleted and the next click (without moving) no longer shows the trash can so instead it opens the next message . I don't like to select and delete all at once- I delete one at a time, while skimming/ reading emails in my inbox. Make sense?
