WHAT'S NEW?
Search by Sender - Just hover over the sender's profile image and a spyglass icon will appear where you can search all emails by that sender.
Multi-Tasking Tabs - Like before, open an email in a new tab.
AI Summaries - Ability to disable. Go to Settings > AI Features > Toggle Off
Number of Total Messages - Hover over the Inbox Icon and you will see both total number of messages and unread.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.

Differentiate Unread v. Read - Better ways to see the difference.
Resize Images - Resize an image within the message.
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently for Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.

  1. Bring back the ability to search by folder!

    A search that gives results from every folder is a nightmare! There's always been a way to choose to search just within one folder, please bring that back immediately!

    Yahoo is rejecting my Paypal all of a sudden. I've used it to buy ten teams the past 2 weeks. There is plenty of funds in it. I want to purchase more fantasy football teams, Robert Alley bob_alley2003@yahoo.com

  3. Don't like the undo delete prompt.

    The prompt doesn't go away fast enough when I'm trying to quickly go through me emails. With all the junk/political email I get nowadays, I have to delete often. The "are you sure" prompt slows down the whole process.

  4. get rid of streaks

    No body cares about email streaks. Email is not a video game. It is 100% annoying to have your stupid pop-ups regarding "streaks" while they are trying to read/respond to emails. Just stop this childish non-sense

  6. Speed up!

    Your web page is painfully slow! It even slows down other tabs running in my browser. Much of the time, I can't do something as simple as scroll without a painfully long wait. Do NOT expect me to pay for the subscription so long as this continues.

  7. Give subscribers a better view choice

    Not at all happy with the new mail view. It is too busy looking and hard to view/read. Bold doesn't replace text size, spacing, and a good typeface. Classic view was great and didn't need to be fixed.

  12. Restore Compact Inbox / Previous Layout

    I am a paying Yahoo Mail Plus subscriber, and I strongly dislike the new desktop layout.

    The new inbox uses far too much space and is much harder to scan than the previous Yahoo Mail. I have already turned off Inbox Categories and minimized the right-hand column, but there is no true compact/dense inbox option.

    Please restore the ability to choose a compact inbox with tighter message spacing. Ideally, please also give users the option to use the previous Yahoo Mail interface.

    Paying Mail Plus subscribers in particular should have MORE control over the appearance of their inbox, not less.…

    Go back to the classic view as a theme.
    That, or quit ******* with what we get used to so we don't have to learn our way around the damned thing every time some new ******* gets a wild hair up their *** about how to make it look like another program! Maybe just leave **** alone, you are not a store that wants me to wonder the lanes looking for something that belongs on lane 17 and maybe I will buy something else. I want to get in, check email and get out. Not go to some damned school…

  14. Full headers missing in reply view

    When replying to an email in Yahoo Mail, the full header information is trimmed and hidden. The complete header only appears when the message is forwarded. This is inconvenient and makes it harder to see important details. Please change the default setting so the full header is always visible when replying, the same way it shows when forwarding.

  18. Themes

    I am extremely disappointed with the new Yahoo Mail design. The Classic version was much more user-friendly, easier to navigate, and easier on the eyes.

    One of the biggest disappointments is the removal of themes. Having basically a black or white background is not enough customization, and both options can be uncomfortable to look at for long periods of time. The old themes made Yahoo Mail more visually appealing and allowed users to choose a background that worked better for them.

    The Classic version also made everything much easier to find. The layout was straightforward, familiar, and functional. With the…
