Unfortunately, you cannot revert back. We are only making the new one better. We know change is frustrating and hard but we really hope you'll give the new layout a fair chance.


WHAT'S NEW:
Calendar - We moved it from under "More" on the right hand side to it's own icon. Still on the right hand side, but it's now the first icon next to Starred and Contacts.

TIPS:
Disable Inbox Categories (All, Primary, etc) - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Inbox Categories.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Sort By Sender - This is still a sorting option, but you must disable Conversation view under your Settings. Then you will see "Sender name"
Disable AI Summaries - Go to Settings > AI features > Toggle Off

  2. Show sender full email addresses

    I used to be able to detect whether an email in the Spam folder was valid or not by seeing the email address listed next to the sender name. I can no longer do that unless I hover over the sender's name. This takes extra time and makes it more difficult to verify that the messages in the Spam folder are truly junk or if a legitimate advertisement got sent there by mistake (about 0.5-1% of the time). Please see if you can restore this. Thanks!

  3. toggling the message preview is not working

    Toggling the message preview in appearance setting does not reduce the number of lines of text showing or remove the preview. nothing changes when you toggle on and off

  4. We are not receiving e-mails from Amazon

    We need someone to explain why Amazon e-mails are blocked from coming to Yahoo email accounts.

  5. Boldness of subjects

    Unread messages in the new Yahoo layout are almost as same as bold as the read messages. I can't distinguish them easily. Make the bold bolder or the other one thinner.

  7. PDF Attachment BUG

    When attaching a PDF to my newly composed email, previewing my PDF is poor quality and is a poor quality snapshot, which makes no sense because I can NOT select text from the PDF attachment. This USED to work! Not it does NOT!

  8. Restore ability to view at a glance whether multiple Yahoo email accounts have unopened mail

    I have 5 Yahoo email accounts, three of which are used heavily, and having to switch accounts to see whether any of the accounts have unread email is tedious. Please consider making unread email status across multiple accounts visible at-a-glance again.

  9. my yahoo mail switched to new settings, and FAILED

    I lost access to my previous mailboxes - cannot view them anymore.
    This change is very rude, without leaving a choice to user.

  10. Multiple emails open at a time

    PLEASE PLEASE bring back my ability to click between open emails. I don't know what it is called but the reason I stay with Yahoo and haven't moved to Gmail is because I could see various open emails easily clicking between them and move between a draft or received email.
    PLEASE bring back that option- I want to be able to refer to multiple emails at a time...now you are just another version of Gmail. SO SO SO SO SO SO sad to have lost that feature.

    I would like to have the option to group by sender back. This helped in reviewing the email from the sender and to file the emails easier.

  14. STOP MAKING ADS LOOK LIKE EMAILS!

    It is bad enough you have inserted/comingled advertisements into my inbox. But worse, you purposefully make the ads look like regular emails. DISGUSTING! I'm going to write the FCC. Unethical and pathetic!

  19. Paginate the inbox (and all folders)

    The new visual design is neither great nor horrible, but the implementation of "infinite scroll" for messages is the dumbest idea ever. I used to be able to page through emails, but now I have to keep scrolling and scrolling and scrolling and eventually it gets slower and slower and slower. Infinite scroll is a known performance killer, and makes it take longer to get to older emails. With AI coding assistance, it should be very easy to allow users to have a toggle switch in their settings to either have a horrible infinite scroll experience or to use a…
