Unfortunately, you cannot revert back. We are only making the new one better. We know change is frustrating and hard but we really hope you'll give the new layout a fair chance.


WHAT'S NEW:
Calendar - We moved it from under "More" on the right hand side to it's own icon. Still on the right hand side, but it's now the first icon next to Starred and Contacts.

TIPS:
Disable Inbox Categories (All, Primary, etc) - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Inbox Categories.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Sort By Sender - This is still a sorting option, but you must disable Conversation view under your Settings. Then you will see "Sender name"
Disable AI Summaries - Go to Settings > AI features > Toggle Off

  1. checkboxes too sensitive

    When I click a bunch of emails to delete if I am not exactly on a box the next click turns them all off frustrating.

  2. Calendar Icon

    Why do I have to click on more and then click on calendar? So, your new design has me making more clicks not less. UGH! Put a calendar icon next to the settings Icon.

  4. Make reading emails easy again!

    When you changed where the calendar button is you completely screwed up how one looks at email. Now, instead of two small columns and a large third one that you can read your email in, there is on the right side a massive empty column that just eats up space.

    Makes it impossible to read some emails without scrolling right to left.

    Horrible design, you must fix asap.

    why did you take away the sent section of email search? i can't find emails i sent or from anymore?

  7. Appearance

    I now have four columns in yahoo mail. The mailboxes, the email list, the preview and a odd 'settings/more' column. Please REMOVE this fourth odd column. It does nothing and I would rather have the space to see the whole email.

  8. Make the block on the right minimizable or removable for the contacts/notes.

    The look causes the actual readable section of the screen for mail to be significantly small compared to the screen size. Making the font-zoom causes more information to be viewable, but the size then makes it impossible to work efficiently.

  9. Get rid of the STUPID achievements

    Gamifying email is the DUMBEST update you've ever done. Nevermind how ugly the new email interface looks, why fix something that's not broke? But I DO NOT WANT stupid achievement updates every time I check my email! Why would I want achievements for my email in the first place? Bafflingly stupid, and annoying as all *. you better hope I can disable this *, or else I will finally, after almost 30 years, give up on yahoo email.

  10. whoever decided to make all the emails highlighted is a moron

    why would you highlight all emails? i had it so only new ones were. now everything is highlighted at all times. whoever thought this was a good idea is a moron

  11. how to hide the third dolumn on yahoo mail new layout

    Please, make the third column of new yahoo mail layout disappear or let us make it smaller. It's really highly disturbing!

  13. Add Size column and search by size option

  14. LIST OF FOLDERS

    I WANT TO BE ABLE TO SEE ALL MY FOLDER CHOICES, NOT JUST THE ICON TO ACCESS THEM!!!! STOP MESSING WITH WHAT WORKS FOR PEOPLE. I ABSOLUTELY HATE THE NEW CHANGE AND I DID THE OTHER ONE. STOP MESSIGN WITH WHAT WORKS!!!!!!!!!!

  16. Restore middle-click (open in new browser tab) functionality

    The new Yahoo Mail interface has broken the core web functionality of opening emails in a new browser tab via a central mouse click (middle-click / scroll wheel click).
    Because the new interface forces single-page application (SPA) internal tabs instead of using standard HTML links, the browser no longer recognizes emails as links. This is a massive downgrade in usability and heavily hurts productivity for desktop users who need to multi-task by opening multiple emails in separate browser tabs.

  18. Full screen setting for Yahoo Mail

    The new email viewing options are unnacceptable. Message list is too crowded width wise because of a wasted block of space on right side of screen that cannot be hidden or undocked. Therefore messages in the list are truncated, Upon opening a message, the same wasted space on right side prevents viewing the entire message without viewing. I will not use this new user interface unless Yahoo allows for a setting to close the wasted block of space. I need full screen viewing of my message list as well as any message that I open.
