WHAT'S NEW?
Search by Sender - Just hover over the sender's profile image and a spyglass icon will appear where you can search all emails by that sender.
Multi-Tasking Tabs - Like before, open an email in a new tab.
AI Summaries - Ability to disable. Go to Settings > AI Features > Toggle Off
Number of Total Messages - Hover over the Inbox Icon and you will see both total number of messages and unread.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.

Differentiate Unread v. Read - Better ways to see the difference.
Resize Images - Resize an image within the message.
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently for Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.

  1. Fit screen

    I used to be able to fit an email in the space next to the list. I do not want full screen email, I want my incoming on the left and my email I'm reading on the right. This works fine except
    The emails half the time don't fit in the area.
    The reading pane needs to be responsive. It used to be and is responsive in other email providers.
    Please make the email reading pane responsive (or give us better options to enlarge it without removing the email list on the left)

  4. Get rid of the useless column on the far left

    Please, get rid of the useless column on the far left. It takes up too much space limiting the size of the email space. I hate it! The most important columns are cramped. Please let me go back to the original!

    I have no idea why you decided that the old basic lookout somehow needed to Microsoft and Windows 8 it. It was fine, lets return to Monkee and make it basic and great again? Thanks!

  8. Let me go back to the older version

    I do not like the new desktop experience at all. Out of an entire screen, the area available for actual reading is less than two inches. This makes reading a difficult experience visually (I get eye strain very easily) and requires constant scrolling. Since apparently I can't adjust this or go back to the older version, I'm afraid I am going to have to find a new platform.

    why cant i switch back to old email?...the new email is to confusing..i get emails that go to primary but doesent show up in inbox...its awful....

  11. Separate the Folder Icon from the Trashcan Icon

    I would like to see the folder icon separated from the trashcan icon at the top of the email page. It's too easy to click on the trashcan for me, when I'm trying to save an email in a folder.

  13. separate emails by date received; make deleting trash weekly a choice

    I am not a fan of the new format at all. I would like to see emails separated by date received so they don't all blend together. I also do not like the auto delete of trash inbox after a week. I often go back to trash to look for an email for some reason. I like to empty my trash when I want to.

  15. i can not see the photos folder now

    in the previous version, it was easier to navigate through the photos, now i do not see that folders. that mean to search a photo i need to check all the emails.

  16. stop blandly blandifying things and organizing desktop stuff as if it were mobile and give me my old theme back.

    actually i liked the bit of Legacy mode i still had with the dark blue watery looking background from like 10 years ago and more, when you still let us customize bot the look and organization of our mail and home pages properly. and did not appreciate checking my email today and getting blasted by Light Mode and ****** roundness.
