Why is the area for reading emails only about 3 inches tall? It's impossible to use all the area. What am I missing?

Stop adding features for their own sake
Please, stop adding unnecessary ******** to email. Streaks for daily activity in our mailbox? What's the point? This is an email feature, not a game. Also, each time Yahoo mail is opened, there's a prompt for mailto links. Once I reject it, it should stay away. Also, a quarter of the screen on the right is simply empty, with no function. Also, to leave a review, we need to sign in separately.

Enhance usability
It's very hard to read emails in the UI. The email section only covers 1/3 of the screen space. There should be a way to resize the work space for emails. Particularly on the right side where Settings, Calendar and Contacts section should be able to be minimized.

Inbox emails are too similar in color when some are Read and Unread, you can not tell the differnace between the too.. the font is too bold

delete without using the check box
I am not happy with the update that does not allow me to Delete emails without using the check box. I used to be able to click on one of them, and click delete on the screen and it would then move to the next email and i can delete again and do this repeatedly so i can delete many emails very quickly. right now it makes me click on the small box, that is about 10+ clicks if i want to delete 10+ emails in a row. That is not productive at all. Also the boxes are so small…

inbox streaks is dumbest thing I've ever seen on the internet
stop doing email streaks, stop contacting me with dumb stuff. If you have not dumb stuff that reasonable people would care about, happy to be notified. DONT want to be notified about dumb stuff. Quick internet search shows hundred + people think inbox streaks dumb, i could find ZERO posts of someone every defending or liking inbox streaks. Bad. Design. Stop. It.

Every time you change the layout it gets worse, makes me want to go to gmail. New layout is horrible

Several Suggestions
Give back the Block Sender in Spam Folder options, so that future blocked sender spam messages go directly to trash, bypassing the spam folder.
From address searches, add 'contains' options so that 'From' search results can find similar messages from the same email domain.
Move right side tool bar out of the right side panel into the top panel by the search box.76th ranked -
It's painfully slow
Painfully long to access anything. When I choose Inbox or a message, it takes like 10 seconds or more. I just went from the settings screen and clicked Inbox. I was sure it would go fast when I was observing, but no. 13 seconds to fully show my Inbox!

Turn off streaks
I toggled to not receive notifications on these silly and unnecessary and irrelevant 'streaks' but I'm still getting them. Very weird thing you guys added. I'm on yahoo plus and submitted a message before - it's also very hard to find in settings. My advise when you add anything weird you might want to ensure you give your customers an easy way out.

Color Themes
I had this version before and I hated it and I hate it now. There is only Dark or Light to choose from. I am a senior citizen and both options are too ******* my eyes. Why aren't there color themes to choose from? Please give me the link to go back to the classic version.

Bring back the classic Yahoo Mail setting and let users decide for themselves.
The new Yahoo Mail interface is absolutely awful. It is visually unappealing, unnecessarily cluttered, and incredibly frustrating to navigate and scroll through. What makes this even more infuriating is Yahoo's decision to completely remove the option to switch back to the classic layout. Why take away a feature that allowed users to choose an interface they actually enjoyed and were comfortable using?
Not every change is an improvement, and this redesign is a perfect example of fixing something that wasn't broken. Forcing users into an unwanted interface with absolutely no option to revert back is both arrogant and completely dismissive…

The current options are bright and dark. That's too ******* my eyes. I imagine most of your users now are older, since most people use Gmail. So let us make it pretty, please, or colorful

A larger display of email content
I am fine with you updating the appearance of our email page, but the teeny weeny box that individual emails are displayed in, is ridiculous. One third of it is utilised with sender and receiver details and headers. There are only about 5 lines of text displayed at a time, which makes reading an email quite difficult, and if there are images embedded , it's even worse. Give us a larger display for email content display!!

Make Mailbox switcher optional!
Really hate that we can't see all mailbox statuses at once. I don't want to have to click to see if any boxes got mail. I am likely to miss important work emails or other critical communications if they are not always visible. Please fix this, it is terrible! At least give people the option to choose! I don't want to have to switch everything over to another email site. Thank you.

Reduce the size of the bar on the right
It takes up a lot of screen space and if I'm not using it there's no reason it should be there
