WHAT'S NEW:
Calendar - We moved it from under "More" on the right hand side to it's own icon. Still on the right hand side, but it's now the first icon next to Starred and Contacts.

TIPS:
Disable Inbox Categories (All, Primary, etc) - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Inbox Categories.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Sort By Sender - This is still a sorting option, but you must disable Conversation view under your Settings. Then you will see "Sender name"
Disable AI Summaries - Go to Settings > AI features > Toggle Off

  1. Feedback on new look

    The overall visual of the new look seems terrible to me. It literally hurts my eyes to try to read it. Something about the text contrast and size seems very ******* the eyes, both with the light and the dark. I don't understand why you keep changing things in a system that was fine the way it was. This new look is so unpleasant to read it makes me want to just get rid of my Yahoo account so I don't have to try.

  2. Messages have been compromised!

    Sadly, this is the worse upgrade ever, display for viewing messages have been compromised, only half of the message is displayed.

  3. Where you can see your inboxes on the left margin

    Move the inboxes to the top of the left margin. Having them at the bottom is a waste of time and effort. At a minimum, provide the ability to customize the appearance of that left margin.

  4. No STAR Icon

    No STAR icon when I hover over the message on the right side. All I see is the DELETE! Where is the STAR? Why do I need to click 3 times to get to the star?

  5. grouping emails by date

    Why did you take away having the inbox grouped by date received? That was very helpful and I miss it already. Please bring it back.

  6. Move the star

    It makes more sense to select the star in the same place the star appears. I go all the way to the right to select the star but then the star appears at the beginning. makes no sense.

  7. Move Trash folder

    Trash folder should be higher on the list in the left hand menu, and more towards the top. It's a more important and more often used choice than Sent, Drafts and Scheduled.

  8. Inbox features lost

    Bring back:
    - Show number of emails in inbox
    - Show when email received -- 'yesterday', 'last week', etc.
    Remove superfluous space between emails

  9. You Broke Moving From Inbox to A Particular Folder

    There is only one way to move from inbox to a folder near bottom of folder list and it is very time consuming and bad on your hands. It takes four to five times longer now for me to sort through my emails and get them over to the proper folders. You broke the whole move system! If you try to drag email over folder and it pops up a folder list to drag to it won't scroll down to other folders in folder list, so you have to use the only other way available with the Move command.   10. Allow mailboxes to be visible and show new mail within the folder instead of requiring extra step to hover or click on an icon

    The main reason I've stuck with Yahoo over the years is because I can quickly see various inboxes (mailboxes) at once and know what's in the inboxes. Now I have to hover over an icon to see that information, instead of having an option to see all of my mailboxes at once and monitor if something has arrived. I'd love to have the option to put those back at the top of my folder list where I can see them without the extra click and inconvenience.

  11. Position of Folders All Wrong

    You shouldn't have the folders list open out blocking the senders names of the emails in the Inbox. That makes it real hard to find sender name, so I can drag it to the proper folder I have created. Put it back the old way or open the list below the folder Folder.

  12. Make it easier to find my linked gmail account

    I am unable to view, much less receive/send Gmail from my Yahoo Mail homepage. Please make it easier to link.

  13. add real configuration to inbox appearance

    I used to be able to see twice as many emails on my screen. Now I see mostly whitespace in excessive padding that exceeds twice the font height of each line. The new experience is truly awful.

  14. Feedback on New Format

    For elderly persons, this new format is terrible. Nearly impossible to distinguish between read and unread mail. There not being a distinct margin within the boundaries of the email only makes it worse.

  15. Spam and Trash

    Why did you take away the ability to press enter after clicking to empty spam or trash? Now we have to move the mouse and click on OK. Can you please bring back using the enter key to OK the emptying of spam and trash? Also, the interface is very bloated and large. Can you give the option of using something more similar to the previous version so that you can see more of what you are reading and writing? These frequent changes still bring the interface to a large bloated look that most users do not want. GMail keeps…

  16. Really Yahoo

    WTF!? Why you let some dev try to justify their job by breaking something that was working fine. Of all the mail apps, I used this (yahoo older version) the most, for ALL of my email inboxes, fore decades. Good Game, Ill be moving on to gmail now, where they dont force changes that no one wanted.

  17. Please DO NOT Block Fidelity Monitor Insight emails to me!

    I have been receiving these emails for 8 years which is a newsletter I subscribe to. Why you would arbitrary decide to block them makes no sense???
