Unfortunately, you cannot revert back. We are only making the new one better. We know change is frustrating and hard but we really hope you'll give the new layout a fair chance.


WHAT'S NEW:
Calendar - We moved it from under "More" on the right hand side to it's own icon. Still on the right hand side, but it's now the first icon next to Starred and Contacts.

TIPS:
Disable Inbox Categories (All, Primary, etc) - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Inbox Categories.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Sort By Sender - This is still a sorting option, but you must disable Conversation view under your Settings. Then you will see "Sender name"
Disable AI Summaries - Go to Settings > AI features > Toggle Off

    Let me see my cc and bcc on the screen while I am writing an e-mail. This is frustrating for it to collapse while you are typing the e-mail. I don't want to keep clicking on it over and over to check the names.

    Also, how do I disable "Spaces" on my iphone?

  2. classic or I use gmail instead

    this is ********. tell the execs they are idiots. the investors should pull their money. hardest and dumbest layout and colors ever. the already viewed emails look like not viewed yet. at least give the options to customize the colors on much of the interface. oh boy, I can only imagine the comments.

This "upgrade" is just a disgrace and I am so angry that you don't even have the decency to let us revert to the old version of email and calendar whilst you "improve" things further. You are using us like test subjects and this a beta version that needs to be tested. This upgrade is not an upgrade and should not have been released. Absolutely DISGUSTED with Yahoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  6. Allow an appearance-based changed where emails that have been read have a darker background color than unread ones

    The old inbox was so much clearer visually (especially the fact that unread emails had a lighter background for easy checking), and there isn't a good reason to force us to use the new version. I don't find any of the changes useful or helpful, and it is significantly damaging the work flow of my daily life. I see the notice about not changing back, but why not allow users who are used to that system to select their preference? It would even be acceptable to import the AI stuff into this version, since that's probably the reason for the…

  9. Put "sort by sender" back into regular filters

    Sort By Sender - This is still a sorting option, but you must disable Conversation view under your Settings. Then you will see "Sender name"

    I did this and it still does not show up. I closed the browser too.

  10. Return OLD YAHOO MAIL

    New YAHOO Mail stinks. It is slow, cumbersome, and wastes time. YAHOO Mail was the best. Now, it is among the worst and will make me find another email provider.unless you give us the option to return to the OLD mail.

  11. some feedback from a loyal yahoo mail user

    Allow users to revert back to the previous layout!
    Many users do not like the new layout. We were able to revert back to the previous layout which we all preferred. However, now it seems we have been forced to use this new layout which is unfamiliar and difficult to use. Please consider allowing loyal yahoo mail users to choose to revert to the old layout if they prefer it. Thank you.

  12. Please bring back my old email.

    I am having a very hard time with it. Spam that used to be blocked is showing up in me new mail. When I delete emails they show back up in my new mail. This just isnt working. Please bring it back

    It tells me I have 3 unread messages yet only only one of them shows. I have to search for them. Bring back the old Yahoo Mail

  17. You can only add 10 Yahoo email accounts ... we need more as I look after my parents email

    You can only add 10 Yahoo email accounts to view... we need more as I look after my parents email as well. Fine having 50 max overall but make it so we can have any accounts available to view
