2. Bring Notepad back

   I use the notepad feature regularly and it has disappeared from my right side of my list of features. I understand this happens from time to time. Well please return it. It is a very important feature and is used a lot by me. Thank you.

3. New mails in inbox are not on top

   Hello, sometimes I receive new email, I can see that I have 1 unread email, but it is not on top, I can not see it in inbox list.
   I have to search is:unread, and only then it shows up.

5. Why did you make yahoo mail FUBR?

   Hi!

   How can I revert to the old yahoo mail, that let's us reply on top of the message?

   Why does it bug out when replying properly at the top of the message? When replying properly at the top of the message, the paragraph or sentence get's broken and jumps down automaticly below the message that I'm replying to.

   Can you fix the issue of having to reply to message below the message that waws sent to you? Please, revert to the original replying on top of the messages, that was sent to you.

   Is there a reason for making people anoyed with your "new" yahoo? If this issue can't be resolve how do I migrate my yahoo mail to a different mail service that works like the old yahoo layout?

6. make default rich-text font changable

   in my yahoo mail, I can change the font style and font size in a composing mail window.
   However, if I compose mail in reply, only "modern wide" and "tiny" available. I checked the setting for writing mails, under "Default Rich-Text Font", only "modern wide" and "tiny" are the options available.

8. mail view change when you dont use full screen mode.

   when you have the screen smaller the reading area with the message layout right side get cut off because you enforce the right bar where you can see calendar and stared mails. should be a option to hide this bar, and or have it so it can get poped out over the message if needed.

9. Renaming Folders

   Just tried to change the name of a number of my email folders and after changing them and receiving a confirmation message they had been changed none of them changed. I have several folders titled INBOX/......
   ..... being the desired name of the folders. Any suggestions about how to change them?

10. New emails are not appearing in my inbox

    New mails appear, and I see my unread count increment, but they don't appear in my inbox. If I click "Unreads" they sometimes will appear in that list. But then I got back to my inbox, and they are still not appearing, and then they also don't appear in "Unreads" because, well, they're read. This started only since the new mail design went live. I never had this problem in the old design.

    Well done breaking it, heroes. I can't find messages that had information in that I needed, which this time last week I could get to with ease.

    I don't know if there's something changed on the algorithm front that affects what does and doesn't appear in response to particular search terms, but the UI itself is busted anyway.

    Best that I can tell, what's being returned behind the scenes is the same 25-results-per-page list that I was used to (and would prefer to have again - is there any good reason why, in the words of this very page, I "do not see the Go Back button" which would return me to that? Especially when enough people must be asking you that to prompt you to add that line to the lede?)...
    ...BUT it's stuck within the new frames-based endless-scroll UI. Which for some reason or other (maybe just the banner ad at the bottom of the screen?) only shows the first 24 items (you can see the 25th briefly when scrolling down fast and it does that cute but pointless "bounce" effect) and none of the navigation links. Even the old A and D shortcuts to go back and forth don't work. Thus it will never show anything more than the first page, minus the final line.

    So if what I need isn't within those first 24 results, I'm stuffed, even if the keyword matching algorithm is actually working correctly. Thankfully THIS time the person on the other end of the phone was able to pull up the appropriate records from the information I could give them off the top of my head, but next time I might not be so lucky, and it's going to take a good while to dredge up the missing pieces separately.

    I'm getting dog sick of filing endless negative feedback reports this week, about all the things this enforced update (can't in good faith call it an "upgrade") has caused. What is the justification for not keeping it the same for those of us who want it that way? I can't see a system that I could (and did!) happily operate on an SVGA-resolution, 8MB, 486 PC over a 14.4k modem back in the 90s presenting any kind of meaningful additional workload to a modern datacentre server after all. Look, I wouldn't even mind you adding in the ludicrous number of ads that the new version is plastered with, just so long as the perfectly functional, non-irritating, workflow-compatible and pretty much bug-free old UI was preserved.

    Can I bill you for the time I've wasted struggling with things that used to be no trouble at all?

13. Make the box less busy, crowded looking

    I hate the new Yahoo mail format. The look is too crowded, close together, too busy looking. It gives me a slight headache just trying to focus on what I need to. Can hardly distinguish the ads from the emails as they are intermingled in together. I do not like how Yahoo decide what is primary and what is not. There is a space/box to the right of the opened emails that I can't see how to move as it makes the emails themselves have smaller room to enlarge to be able to read the entire email without having to scroll back and forth horizontally. I know things are progressive but I hope Yahoo don't force this change on everyone, namely me. It is good to see others are asking to go back to the old version.

14. Bug Report: Yahoo Mail Print View Displays UTC Instead of Local Time

    In the new Yahoo Mail interface, clicking the Print button opens the NOVATION_APP print page, which displays email dates in UTC instead of my local time zone (Pacific Time). The inbox shows the correct local time. Old Yahoo Mail prints the correct local time. This occurs in both Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome and began about a week ago.

16. My Yahoo contacts are not syncing properly with the native Contacts app on my iPhone.

    When I create a new contact through the iPhone Phone app, the contact is successfully saved to my Yahoo account and is visible when I sign in to Yahoo Contacts online. However, the contact does not appear in the Contacts app on my iPhone.

    I have already completed the following troubleshooting:

    • Confirmed that the correct Yahoo account is connected to the iPhone
    • Confirmed that Contacts syncing is enabled
    • Turned Yahoo Contacts syncing off and back on
    • Removed the entire Yahoo account from the iPhone
    • Restarted the iPhone
    • Re-added the Yahoo account using the built-in Yahoo account option
    • Confirmed that the missing contact remains visible in Yahoo Contacts online

    The issue continues after completing Yahoo’s recommended troubleshooting. Please escalate this as a Yahoo Contacts synchronization issue and advise how the server-to-iOS contact sync can be reset or repaired.

    This problem is causing contacts that I save through my iPhone to appear to disappear from the phone even though they are stored in Yahoo online.

18. Fix the Printing Scale (You Just Broke It)

    The "New" Yahoo Mail's print function doesn't print the email scale correctly. It shrinks the email contents down very small, a small percentage of an 8.5"x11" page, making it very hard to read. The header text is similarly VERY small and hard to read. The print function in the previous version worked perfectly fine. Changing the scale option in the browser's printer options doesn't help this. For example, if you increase the browser's print scale to 130%, the email contents disappear off the side of the page. So this is not a browser issue. Yahoo Mail is forcing a huge amount of "whitespace" arond the email content, and shrinking the email content down making it hard to read. I just did some tests comparing prints to pdf of the exact same email that I made from Yahoo Mail prior to July 10, 2026 (I have a great many saved locally on my computer), to prints I just made today (July 10, 2026), and the new prints appear exactly 70% of the scale of the older prints (i.e., the email content within the 8.5"x11" page is now printing 30% smaller than it used to).

19. Stop Blocking the Navigation Bar with "Undo Delete"

    This "new thing" is obtrusive and considerably annoying. You moved it up and out of the way for a couple of days yet now IT'S BACK. Get rid of it....move it up...whatever. I'm about an inch away from going back to Outlook. That's how much some of us hate this "led by the nose" experience with Yahoo Mail!

    The "Show next message" setting displays the previous message instead of the next message. The issue is reproducible in Chrome, Firefox, and Edge and by clearing cache. The issue occurs using the move message function from the folder icon and the delete message function.
