1. It's Beyond a Simple Fix

   Wow. What incompetent email designers you have. Obviously, they have never used email before or maybe their brains are simply blown out from digital communications use, because the clearly don't have any mental ergonomic or visual ergonomic sense. Why would you spread everything out on a large white space for people to read? Have you never used digital technology before? is the idea of Yahoo Mail to make people go blind? Are you all new to technology? Do you only get 1 or 2 emails per day? Yahoo has become an optometric catastrophe.

   I'm sorry, but unless you learn how to use and design email, I am leaving and I promise to advertise your incompetence to the rest of the world, as aggressively and influentially as I can. You do not belong in technology. None of you do. I have used email in many varieties and forms, and you are obviously incapable of designing email so that people can use it. If you are trying to make people use other forms of communication then you are succeeding in a giant way.You very clearly do not have normal visuomotor skills, and certainly don't what they might be, let alone have the competence to design for their comfort and effectiveness. That's just one problem. Do you really think that people who have been using email for 10, 20, 30, or 40 years, are going to rewrap their physiological ability to read email according to your arbitrary perceptual design? Don't you have professional testers? The current design is unusable for humans. Maybe your team can take a course in the basics of front-end design?

4. divide inbox by time of receipt

   Please restore the grouping of the inbox by "today," "this week," "last week," "last month," and so on. This is visually helpful in finding messages I want to keep for a month or two (or more), without putting them in a folder.

6. Font too small, unable to adjust

   The font used in the inbox (14px) is too small for me to read easily. 16px would be the minimum for me. Also, kerning of the fantasy 'Yahoo Product Sans VF' font makes it harder to read. Users should be able to adjust the font size in their preferences.

8. Please provide search by folder

   user was able to search mails from a sender from inbox. This feature is removed now. It is extremely difficult to list mails of sender from inbox so we can read, sort and delete them.

   Also presently if we search mails from a one sender it lists mails from all folders in unsorted, disordered list. Every time user has to see the folder name written at the start of subject in list. this is adding interactions instead of improving.
   Please provide search by folder at least.

9. Not Easy Transferring to other Yahoo Emails

   It used to be so easy to transfer back and forth between my other Yahoo Email accounts. Not so now with your Changes. Takes a lot of time and many times with it asking so many questions repeatedly each time it sometimes is hard to even go back to my original Yahoo email that I transferred from. Between this and so many other things, you really did not think this through very well before destroying what worked so well the Classic Yahoo Emails. I have gained nothing and lost a lot. Also please get the margin between emails with an Option to make it Small, Medium and etc. This should have been given as an option before switching us to your new email. Not well thought out.

10. Bug: text does not show up in dark mode as it seems to be hard coded!

    Some text does not show up in dark mode as it seems to be hard coded as white or grey on white or grey background. For example, the balance or transaction amount in the white or grey section from Citi/Costco emails.

    WHEN THE NEW FORMAT CAME ONLINE, MY OLDER EMAILS DISAPPEARED. YOUR SEARCH DOES NOT WORK. THE ADVANCED SEARCH DOES NOT WORK. THEY ARE NOT IN A FOLDER. THE RECOVERY OPTION IN THE HELP SECTION IS NOT HELPFUL AND ONLY GIVES SELF IMPLICATING CHOICES OR 'HACKED'. IT WAS NONE OF THOSE AUTO-POPULATED REASONS. 15. Please Fix the color other people on reddit are saying what I said it literally hurts the eyes

    I cannot get used to this new yahoo even after a week because it physically literally hurts the eyes the white color is too white. I looked on reddit r/email and other people who have used yahoo for over TWO DECADES talked about the white color, the white and black contrast of the color contrast of the page and font hurting their eyes and how people want to be able to put the color layouts/themes. Your customer base of nearly 30 years is saying their eyes are hurting, this is bigger than a layout ui change we can get over. Our eyes physically cannot handle the change it hurts our eyes! Some people on reddit were even saying to email the ceo to tell him this but I am not doing that but this change is too much. also I use dark mode for everything else but I don't like using dark mode for email and I am suspecting other people don't either.

18. Search Feature Improvement - Revert to Previous Functionality

    You really screwed up the search feature. It is a serious downgrade. Before you could select the folder to search and it would only include results from that folder. I don't want to pull up everything. The search function was better before this change.

19. Ideas: (1) Stop spoofing (2) Allow one-click block senders

    I notice Yahoo has upgraded the look of the mail app. That's great but there are some problems with functionality. (1) I have received a number of spoofed messages i.e. disguised as thought they came from me, with the sender name (me) obviously not matching the sender account - Can these emails be blocked automatically? (2) It would be good to be able to block senders with one-click. Currently I do that by navigating to settings/security&privacy, and adding each email address manually. I would like to block senders quickly where the emails are phishing attempts - emails pretending to be from the government, for example, with buttons to reply or whatever, or invoices for things I never bought. Yahoo does filter these as spam. That's helpful - thanks. But those are very dangerous emails and I want to block the senders, too, as easily as possible.
