backspace deletes emails that are being replied to
When I try to reply to an email and I hit the back space, at all, it deletes the entire email. I just hit the back space on a very important thread of emails and it permanently deleted the entire string of emails I have been trying to work out a return for an expensive product for. Visibility of complete email address
when selecting a recipient for the To field, auto fill are presented, but the shown information is the name of the contact and not the full email address. This could lead to errors in selection, with possible security pitfalls.

Mult colored themes and backgrounds
I have read from millions of users, and nobody wants to have their UI be all white or all black. And neither do I. Keep the multi-color themes and background images. Also, you can implement the backgrounds that change during the time of day and night.

Option to Hide Right‑Side Panel
Hello Yahoo Mail team,
I would like to request an option to hide or collapse the right‑hand panel that contains “Starred”, “Contacts”, and “More”. In the new interface this panel takes up valuable horizontal space and cannot be removed, which makes the layout feel cramped on many screens.Please consider adding a toggle to disable or collapse this panel, similar to how the left navigation panel can be collapsed. This would greatly improve usability and customization for many users.

Allow sort to be saved, instead of having to choose every day
if a person likes to look at their mail by oldest first. They shouldn't have to change sort by everyday. Their preference should be saved.

In-app PDF preview
In the old version it was possible to preview pdf attachments directly in the mail. I used that feature a lot. Now I have to download attachments to open them, I perceive it as a downgrade.

Make the system messages smaller or move them to the bottom.
It's nothing major, but it's kinda annoying. The system messages, such as "Message Deleted" or "Message Selected," take up a bit of space and obstruct the top view, especially on a smaller window. It's not a huge issue, but it's kinda annoying. Other than that i love the new look!

Congrats and Thanks
Just want to thank you for bringing an upgrade to yahoo mail at par with Gmail. All the newly added features were actually required which earlier were missing in yahoo mail.

I deleted a draft email that was a reply on an important email I NEED BACK!!!
Deleting reply draft seems to delete the email I am replying to!!!!Can I please get it back???

Make email addresses visible when hovering over the name in the "TO" section
The New Mail does not allow me to see the actual email addresses of people I'm writing to. Annoying, since some people have several and if I want to see an email address now I have to go to contacts.

Offer support - filters are not working
There is not place I see where I can request support or help. I am trying to filter my email be sender, and I choose that option, but my email doesn't respond. It still filters by date.
