Terrible headlines on Yahoo Homepage
Hello,
I am on the verge of switching my email provider because every time I sign in to Yahoo mail, my homepage has terrible news headlines that I cannot avoid seeing. Please stop bombarding users with shocking, terrible headlines about people being killed on the way to their weddings and fathers murdering their children. If it isn't that, we see the latest on Hollywood breakups.
If you are not going to provide broad scope, well-rounded news headlines, please don't even have them on your homepage. I understand that not all news is happy news, but I have a feeling that…

Why was this comment rejected when it gives facts and is not attacking anyone ? Maybe machines now have feelings. Or maybe Yahoo is simply anti China and does not believe in facts.?

You obviously have some algorithm searching for offensive speech in comments, so why don't you just highlight it so we can fix it? Instead you block the comment and link to some uselessly vague document about your policies that means nothing. We get it - your policy allows you to block anything for any reason. Don't make us play detective and just delete the problem sentence for us or highlight it of something so we can move on.

Please stop posting stores from TONS of small, local newspapwers from all over U.S. on my home page.
For several weeks my Yahoo home page has become filled with TONS of stories from small, local newspapers from all over the U.S. I do not want to receive such masses of "local" news that is meaningless to me and useless. I had routinely tried to "clean up" such meaningless drivel by using the "Show me less from .... " option. But recently, when I do that, the page is continually and immediately "updated" with yet more of the same small, local news items. Hire more engineers. If you don't have the money, fire some people from marketing or a few MBAs.
Bugs are increasing. Fixes take forever. You new Yahoo Mail, and elimination of My Yahoo make you no better than MSN, provide no utility beyond Microsoft's built in news feed, and no reason to keep using your product. I can't watch any more adds than I'm plagued with now. I may end up just going back to FM radio.

closing article or hitting back on home page resets page to top
You recently changed the look and feel of your yahoo home page. One thing you failed to implement is the ability to bring the viewer back to the location of the page where they clicked for the article. When you click an article to read, and then either (x) out or hit back button it resets the page to the top which is very frustrating. You then have to scroll all the way down to look for the article.

Why do I have to repeatedly verify my access to my email? Sometimes thre or more time a day!
I have to verify my identity everytime that I open my Yahoo account using my computers browser. Sometimes three or more times in a day even if I leave the tab open. This is becoming very frustrating to me. This has been going on for over a month now. what's the fix?

I've used the Yahoo home page for 22 years. I found it entertaining and quick at catching Breaking News Stories. Today not so much. It's more about redundant junk news and breaking news stories too late.

PLEASE fix your comment moderation.
It is overly sensitive. I said it was odd that you can lock your keys in the car and it got flagged! I know you're trying to promote civility, but there is a massive amount of hate speech in the comments that passes, but then something benign gets flagged.
