1. Ads take too much room on reading pane

   I don't mind the ads on the side but the ads along the bottom take up to much room, make them smaller or better yet get rid of them.

2. Don't get rid of notepad!

   Just got the update that Yahoo is getting rid of Notepad!! Why?? This is ludicrous! First you get rid of email theme for emailing and now you're getting rid of my most used feature!!
   I have a business that runs YAHOO and this is a very useful tool in one place.
   Why are you doing this??

4. Additional storage options need to be improved ASAP.

   Getting additional space on Yahoo needs to be improved.

   Current options are :
   Free: 15 GB || £1.99/ mo: 100 GB || £9.99/ mo: 1 TB

   Can Yahoo come up with something like 50GB and amount payable quarterly/half-yearly/yearly?

5. Unauthorized attempts to get in my Yahoo account

   My Yahoo account first supposedly called me, I now know it was a scam.
   I deleted my YAHOO App & Email App & will reinstall it, please know some creep is trying to get into my account without my permission

   There was another previously accusing me of parking My car in her space hence I don't drive & never owned a car even never taken the test, also someone accused me of having a cat and a dog.. again never had any pets in my life!!! mostly appearing in my spam folder!!!

    I tried to visit yahoo.ca by typing it into the url field using google chrome on my Android phone but an error screen showed up which said 'Yahoo! Will be right back... Thank you for your patience. Our engineers are working quickly to resolve the issue.' . I ended up having to search yahoo mail in google in order to reach the site.

13. Make the prior version of Yahoo Mail available on demand by any user. Then see what percentage chooses to return to the prior version.

    I filed many feedback notices every time I encountered annoying and disruptive issues with the “new version” of Yahoo Email during the time the feedback window was there; then it disappeared. Now I am not sure this list of issues that are frustrating and time wasting is getting to the right team. Apparently, the feedback was ignored and never responded to. And no changes have been made to the new version. Yahoo should make the prior version available to anyone who desires it. That action would probably be enthusiastically received by a vast majority of long-term clients. Below is a partial list of significantly disruptive changes that have extended my time managing a large amount of incoming email by almost double.
    Too many popups everywhere, they are not helpful, they hide whatever it floats above, hard to move past them. And they hover too long, so my ongoing typing gets diverted by popups that show up almost anywhere with no trigger, they disrupt my time working through my emails.
    Making all the activity and navigation choices popups that are nowhere near the results, like the star trigger is far right, the result is far left, difficult and time consuming to work with.
    Summarizing “other folders” into a choice to bring up a shortened list is a waste of time and effort, the older version had the list shown down the left side at all times, making the other folders available to scroll down to and makes management much more productive.
    The search options in mail folders is shortened to three items, not the 6 or 7 that were in the previous version and provided much more effective searching all folders, certain folders, time constraints, words in the subject or in the body, etc. The new version is mush less helpful and less powerful for users.
    The preferences for display of emails used to have about 9 choices with a single click on the preferences box. Now it shows only three options, and another click to display the rest of them. That is a waste of time, and makes it longer and more difficult to rapidly review and manage my emails.
    Prior version used to highlight selected groups of emails to make management much easier. Without the highlight on selected lines it takes longer to manage selected groups of emails. This has lengthened the time spent working through a volume of emails.
    The size of the tiles and preview bits of emails is in much smaller print than in the prior version, but the spacing of lines is farther apart, possibly due to that strange circle in front of each line. The impact result is less emails per screen (18 vs 24) but with smaller script making it harder to read and more scrolling to work through folders. And hovering over the subject shows the entire subject, but at about half the font size it used to be, making it almost impossible to read easily.
    Bottom line, almost all the changes made between the prior version and the “newer” one are not helpful, they are disruptive and time wasting. I would welcome the return of the prior version and be eternally grateful. The changes made for the “newer” version appear to be childish, disruptive, less useful, and almost comical, like someone is trying to change it for very young children who would be fascinated by pretty circles and amazing popups. I do not need that kind of junk on my screen.

14. fix your ****

    Your "block address" option keeps failing. Doesn't matter if I clear out my lists, update, clear cache, or anything. Your service is deteriorating.I've had this email for 20 years, but over the last 3 your service has become more shoddy by the day.

    gmail is useless, but it's looking more and more like I'll just have to finally make that switch.

16. STOP the cursor from disappearing everytime the ads refresh!!!

    When I draft a new email or am replying/forwarding an email, the cursor disappears when the ads change or refresh. I normally don't mind the ads and I don't get enough functionality to pay for yahoo plus. What can I do to stop the cursor from disappearing? If there is no solution, I will permanently delete my yahoo account and use gmail instead.
