Can't see my old emails
Please may I have my old emails back - PPPLLLEEAAASSSEEE!!! Life has been alot lately. I didn't realize you would erase my emails. I had some old pictures saved. Please may I have those old pictures and emails back!!!

problem signing in
You do it to my wife's attempt to "sign in", and you do it to me.
You want us to give you a fingerprint ????? How do we do that? Why do we need to do that?
Alternatively, you wish us to "text" you. That is impossible.
We are both nearly 90 and have multiple landlines throughout the house - 7 in fact.
Neither of us has a mobile cell phone - no smart phone - no dumb phone - nada - just landlines

Infrequently when I sign in to my account you ask me for a fingerprint - - - I don't know how to do that.
Then you sometimes ask me to text you - - - we have a landline. Neither hubby nor I have mobile devices.
Why don't you simply have a phone number that we can contact.

Take highlighting off of the calendar.
Why, all of a sudden, are all scheduled activities on my calendar highlighted in blue?? This is not needed and is hard to read. Please get rid of the highlighting or tell me how to get rid of it. In short: it sucks.

Adding a logo to the email signature.
I was told by a Yahoo representative that a logo cannot be added to the signature line.
Is this true? If so, that seems odd.

Offended by Trump's daily visage on access to and from my account
I am tired of being offended every time I use Yahoo. I am not interested in politics and have tried to unsuccessfully eliminate the news feed each time I sign out of my Yahoo email account. Now I must see another unwanted picture in an ad each time I try to sign in. I did not vote for Donald Trump. I have lived through 13 presidents, and only one has managed to get his face, name, and or voice in the news every single day ad nauseum. I am fed up with his mere presence. change calendar to monthly.
Make the calendar stop displaying by the week. I have always used it by the month, and it's a pain to change it to week each time I open it.

The support service for account access issues from a device (when other devices are OK so account not locked per se)
I had issues logging into account from a specific desktop, my mobile access was OK. The telephone service cut the call dead when I entered the 8 digit date of birth in the format MMDDYYYY. I tried twice. I'm not sure why. It would have helped at that point to connect to an agent or provide an alternative id as the call had suggested live european passport to which I had acknowledged I would share details of.
So the phone tree needs to be extended or improved

desktop notification for a new email does not work
Can't get the desktop notification for new email to show up in windows 11 using edge browser! I tries for several days and read and search and could not get the yahoo mail to show on the desktop . It worked for Gmail and outlook! It is really a shame since it was easily possible in the 90's that of today!.

I do not like yet another New Yahoo Calendar. Please give me the option to leave it as it used to be.
I looks like a kid's toy, not a useful tool like it used to.Also I want to be able to set the DEFAULT view to MONTHLY and have it STAY THAT WAY.

expire emails
It would be nice to expire (delete or archive) older emails in my "newsletters" and "Ads" folders that are no longer pertinent. (eg. sales or event notices that are long out-of-date.)

Contact lists - emailing a list no longer working
With the recent update to the new Yahoo Mail, my contact lists have a problem. I can still see my contacts and lists on the right side of my screen (in Chrome browser on desktop windows). But when I click "Email this list" it no longer does so. This problem persists whether I have already opened a blank email to compose or not. I am reporting this error in the hopes that it's a bug you can fix in the next update. Thank you!

I prefer to view a monthly calendar, yet your default is for a weekly calendar, so I am required to always reset the view. It would be nice if this feature was user-settable and sticky.

Take away the Search Function Suggested Popup Emails
I am not happy that your search feature has popup suggested emails. Most of the time these are not the emails for which I am searching, and they take up half of the page of search results. Currently, there is no way to make them go away. Please make this possible - it's annoying and unnecessary upgrade with the new email.

Allow people to disable AI summaries permanently. They're wrong FAR TOO OFTEN.
Allow people to disable AI summaries permanently. This time the AI got the appointment time wrong, despite having an ICS file attached with the precise information! This is worse than useless, I have to read the summary, AND the email to figure out how the AI got it wrong this time.
Every time I see a summary, it's gotten something wrong. It once told me that AMAZON was asking me to do something that would be against Amazon's Terms of Service, when it was actually a 3rd-party seller offering payment for a review.

Your welcome email gets filtered to spam
Your welcome email ("Welcome to your new Yahoo email") gets redirected to spam by your own spam filters....
