Eliminate AI summaries/synopses of emails
Please get rid of Yahoo (via AI) summaries of my emails. I did not ask for this feature and it actually hinders my reading of the ACTUAL email. The Summary/Synopsis is superfluous, not necessary, not welcome. Please eliminate it. Thanks.

By restoring the mails you deleted from my account without authorisation
I logged into my email account (meticulousmanagement) only to find that all emails have disappeared. It appears that Yahoo has cleared my account without warning or authorisation. Worse still, there is no option to contact customer support unless I upgrade to yahoo+ paid premium support. This is utterly outrageous. Only Yahoo doe this. BT, Gmail, Outlook, etc. do not delete messages and still have non-paid support. I demand you restore my account to the date before it was deleted otherwise I will sue. Screenshot taken 19-Jun-25.

there is no way to prove we signed up for yahoo plus
my yahoo email does not say yahoo plus, and you keep advertising it to me on my email page as if i don't have it, but the fact is that i have indeed signed up for it. i would like my storage capacity to reflect this new limit OR something on the page that acknowledges you are taking my money

Fix folder view
Don't like the new mail interface. Want to see all folders with their counts on left side. I don't want to click 3 dots and then look to see if there is new email in a folder that I filtered email into. Don't like the tools embedded in each message. Having them all at the top all the time is better. In new interface Spam folder needs to be with sent and drafts. Too many real emails go to spam even after telling yahoo they are not spam. I went back to the old version. It is much better.

Performance issues with Yahoo E-mail
Hi, I have been using Yahoo since I was 14 yrs old and I always have enjoyed it. However, I noticed the issue with yahoo these days, I have a powerful computer and OMG!!! the Yahoo email running from chrome, it's a horrible experience due to the performance it's no good it makes my browser freeze or crash which is not normal

Easier button to filter for unread messages - pin preferred filter options as single-click button?
In old Yahoo mail, it was possible to list all unread messages in a single click by clicking the "Unread" filter option that was on the left hand side. Now the "unread" filter is inside another (small) menu with other optional filter options in the list. This makes it so there is now an extra step with smaller buttons to enable unread view, and then those same steps again to disabled the unread view.

scroll bar on attachment previews
I do like the newer attachment preview system in Yahoo Mail — However, you need a scroll bar or other navigation method to view these previews. Some document attachments can be quite long. The only way I can scroll them is by using the roll wheel on my mouse and if my preview need is to see something near the end, it is nearly impossible to get there in long documents. In that respect, the old preview system had the advantage

Spam in Inbox
Another wave of spam / scam emails getting through to the inbox. These are blatantly obvious spam / scam emails (most recently to do with Cloud storage and McAfee) with the sender and subject clearly written to deceive your spam / scam filters.... syntax and emojis embedded in the sender and or the subject. Should be easy to to detect.

give the total number of messages in the inbox
In the old version of mail when I hovered the cursor over the inbox it gave me the total number of messages in that box. Now it only tells me the number of UNread messages in a folder. I would really appreciate a feature that would give me the total number of messages in my inbox. Thank you
