Unfortunately, you cannot revert back. We are only making the new one better. We know change is frustrating and hard but we really hope you'll give the new layout a fair chance.


WHAT'S NEW:
Calendar - We moved it from under "More" on the right hand side to it's own icon. Still on the right hand side, but it's now the first icon next to Starred and Contacts.

TIPS:
Disable Inbox Categories (All, Primary, etc) - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Inbox Categories.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Sort By Sender - This is still a sorting option, but you must disable Conversation view under your Settings. Then you will see "Sender name"
Disable AI Summaries - Go to Settings > AI features > Toggle Off

  3. Recent Changes to Yahoo's Interface

    Feedback on Recent Changes to Yahoo's Interface Dear Yahoo Team, I hope this message finds you well. I would like to express my concerns regarding the recent changes to the appearance and functionality of Yahoo. Many users, including myself, have appreciated the previous design and options available. It seems that rather than enhancing the user experience based on feedback, the changes have altered the interface significantly without providing alternative choices. While I understand that feedback is solicited, it appears that the implementation of user suggestions has not been reflected in the recent updates. The new design does not resonate well…

  4. Give it more color and less bright white space. Actually, the best thing would be to return it to Classic Yahoo mail. IO am less and less ab

  5. Smaller calendar availability

    i seem to only be able to access the calendar as its own full tab. where is the little one that used to be on the right hand panel?

  6. Move Forward, Spam, Delete Toolbar Back to Top of Inbox

    Please move the delete, forward, spam, etc toolbar back up to the top. It's so frustrating having it at the top of the individual email, when I do email view under the inbox. This is horrible. I want to switch back to the old version. Also, you need more than just light or dark mode. Light is way too much white, and dark is way too much black.

  8. You have to make it easier to block spam email sender's addresses.

    It's way too laborious to use the current method to block spam email addresses. Instead of doing so one by one, you should be able to block all the current spam senders with a few clicks like in the previous version. Please either do that, or do a better job of blocking spam emails altogether because this is a major problem with Yahoo mail.

  10. Get someone smarter to re-design the whole appearance

    Take a very good look at Gmail, how they put everything there, compact style, for user to see and use. Yahoo Mail is making a big mess every single time in changing the look. You target to make bigger space for putting 'AD', and ridiculously small spacing to read message or manage folder list because it is not expanded and require a click and pop up screen to appear. Rubbish Yahoo Mail

    I don't need your suggestion for which emails I'm looking for. I need to see the emails that match what I am searching for. Stop guessing.

  13. New look is terrible

    I can't get rid of the sender icons. This is just one of the many issues with the new look. Please make it so people can customize the interface. Some of us do not like busy mail pages with colors and circles and distracting, non helpful settings.

  14. unread email row highlight

    i think the previous yahoo mail design the entire row background was different for unread emails instead of just an indicator and brighter text. i added this ublock rule to make the entire row background brighter for unread emails like it was in the previous design. mail.yahoo.com##[data-test-id="message-list-item"]:has([data-test-id="unread-indicator"].C_Z2c8wkG):style(background-color: #383e49 !important;)

  16. Allow the folders to still stay open and listed; settings???

    I could not find anywhere I could set settings, filters etc. Plus, is there any way I can have my folders all listed as opposed to just nested under "FOLDERS".

    This was my favorite email.... but I may be looking for a new one.

  17. The readable area of each email is TOO SMALL

    There is so much stuff permanently imbedded on the screen that there is not enough room for me to see my emails. The is extremely frustrating. I will probably stop using this email.

  20. restore horizontal separators between todays mail, current week, previous weeks/months

    It was very helpful to see the "calendar" at a glance. Now you need to examine each mail date and make the mental calculation. So bring that option back.
