control over messages line spacing
Hi,
It would be very helpful to have control over how many message lines are displayed on the screen.
In the current version of Yahoo Mail, the spacing between messages is very large, which significantly reduces the number of emails visible at once. This affects productivity because it requires constant scrolling, makes it harder to scan the inbox quickly, and slows down navigation when managing a high volume of messages.
Having an option to reduce line spacing or define how many messages appear on the screen would greatly improve efficiency and workflow.Thank you for considering this enhancement.

Put the calendar back on the right side.
Bring back the ability to view the calendar on the right hand side of email page the way it was. I need to be able to see at a glance what days in the month I have free what days are marked by a dot to tell me that I have to be somewhere or do something.

Display friendly mailbox name instead of account sending name
In the bottom-left mailbox navigation list, the new interface displays the account's configured "Sending Name" (the name others see when I send an email) instead of the custom "Friendly Name" I have set for each mailbox.
When managing multiple accounts under the same person's name, seeing the exact same sending name repeated makes it impossible to distinguish between different mailboxes at a glance.
Please restore the functionality that displays the custom Friendly Name for each74th ranked -
Turn off AI summaries in emails
Turn off the AI summaries in emails. As noted here, this should disable AI summaries in messages:
Disable AI Summaries - Go to Settings > AI features > Toggle Off
But it does not. I am still seeing AI summaries at the start of some emails. I want them all off.

ensure unread folder does not include ancient emails
I check on my unread folder to see what I have outstanding - at the moment it is full of hundreds of old irrelevant emails too many to block delete. I may move elsewhere

I don't need a bravo for checking my email
I am not a child that wants to be told I did a good job for checking my email. Email isn't a game. Its life. WTH yahoo?

Mark as unread button
The "mark as unread" button at the front of an email has disappeared in the new Yahoo Mail layout. Is it possible to bring it back? (The small dot is still visible, but it cannot be clicked to quickly mark an email as unread again.) Thanks in advance.

Your New UI Makes Things Impossible For Me
Please provide the option to revert back to the old UI as I cannot work with this new one - it gives me a headache and I can't differentiate between the different emails like I could before which means I am missing important ones.

New messages in Inbox
The "bold" font of a new message is not visible enough to differentiate from messages that have been read. Allow users to set a color for new messages so that they are readily evident compared to previous opened messages in mail.

Blocking Spam
Under the old spam system you can block all selected spam emails, this no longer the case and emails have to be put back into the inbox to be blocked. This a pain and counter intuitive to where we were previously. Please can this capacity to block spam emails from the spam folder be restored?

Return the close button for emails
The version before this newest one has a close button for emails. I can no longer find this option in the new version. I currently use a view where the email would be displayed at the right side of the inbox.

the starred emails feature is worse than useless: let me turn it off or hide the panel
I don't know why Yahoo thinks it can read my mind and determine emails that I will want to look at. You're batting zero at this point, starring dozens of emails that I would flag and delete. All you've done is make it harder for me to find those emails that I do want to read by robbing screen real-estate from the emails listing itself. I have to use the two-line format to give the subject line more space so it isn't so truncated, and that results in fewer emails per page, and I end up doing a lot more…

Make it more colorful like the old one.
Different natural scenes like the old one was pleasant to come to. The other companies' emails look business-like. Yahoo was the exception: it looked friendly and lively. It was distinctive. Now it looks like all the others: bland with no personality.
I don't like the new look.74th ranked -
Don't have to hit all to see all emails
I do not want to have to hit all when I first enter yahoo mail. I just want to see all the emails that have come in no matter what and then make the decision my self to delete or not. I do not want to do an extra step to see all my emails.

Please let me see all my accounts on the same layout!!!
This new layout is awful!!!! There is no way to check if I received a new email on a different account. I have to manyally switch to my many accounts to see each one! This is absurd!

Get rid of logo/icons in inbox or allow user to hide them or allow user to rearrange columns so the logo is off to the far right
The inbox looks like a video game - entirely too many colors and things going on - the senders logo/icon by each email on the page is so utterly distracting that I've now opened a Gmail account, after all these years, and I will migrate over. Unfortunate.

Where do I start?
The Contrast between Read and Unread emails are almost indistinguishable.
The Font looks like someone drew it in crayon, also hard to read
The Ads now take up 1/3 of the page scrunching the actual email down to nothing, AGAIN - Hard to read.Sorry, but true

Hire an actual person that understands User Experience.
Hire an actual person that understands User Experience. The latest mailbox view and navigation was done by completely incompetent people, who don't understand the basics of human interaction and navigation. It appears they tried to steal the concept from Gmail, which is equally as poor. Try to have them look at an actual person on how to navigate the screens without flash and attempting to use their own personal preference for how normal people would use it. The classic view wasn't perfect, but a thousand times better than the new view. Fire them immediately. Unbelievable.
