Unfortunately, you cannot revert back. We are only making the new one better. We know change is frustrating and hard but we really hope you'll give the new layout a fair chance.


WHAT'S NEW:
Calendar - We moved it from under "More" on the right hand side to it's own icon. Still on the right hand side, but it's now the first icon next to Starred and Contacts.

TIPS:
Disable Inbox Categories (All, Primary, etc) - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Inbox Categories.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Sort By Sender - This is still a sorting option, but you must disable Conversation view under your Settings. Then you will see "Sender name"
Disable AI Summaries - Go to Settings > AI features > Toggle Off

  3. submit a complaint with human agent

    The "Turn on out-of-office response" feature is not working; even when enabled, the system fails to send an automated response to the sender upon receipt of a new email.

  4. Please make the email when stared more visible

    Please make the email when stared/flagged more visible, like the whole email becomes in a cream colour. You have added colourful icons for the sender, this distracts further when trying to find important emails. Unfortunately there is no an option to go back to the classic view, I would otherwise.

  5. Show all folders

    Why remove the choice of selecting different folders (directories proper technical name)? Previously it was possible to easily move between folders. It seems to be that the free version is a ''test setup'' due to various errors that appear over time. For example only one file can be attached at a time. More than one has to be attached separately.

  6. Allow us the ability to block spammers and delete

    With the older version of yahoo mail it was possible to delete and block spammers, but I don't see that option now.
    This "NEW" version is a step backwards.

  7. Who the F changed the design?

    If something works, then is no need to change it. it didn't revolutionize anything. It is hard to read and to distingush anything. We don't need to minimize enerything. I hope the people who did that amount of stress on everyone using this service gets laid off.

  9. Remove side column with starred view. Allow customized color options

    I truly hate this New Yahoo Mail Plus.

    How do I get rid of side panel with starred emails? This is just as distracting as ads. I want to see only inbox with emails. Option to change the purple color to something that I can tolerate.

  10. De-evolution of Usable Feature

    I'm dyslexic and have a hard time reading lists. Old Mail let me have that background that allowed my brain to keep things sorted out. This, just like the last time you trotted your "improvement" out, makes it difficult for me to complete even simple tasks. Give me an option to help correct for that.

  11. bigger reading window

    Now, when I open emails, the reading pane is very small. You can't see very much at all, and have to keep scrolling, and scrolling, and scrolling, to see the whole thing. Put it back the way it was!!

  14. Sorting

    Please bring back the option to group emails into date blocks, such as Today, Yesterday, Earlier This Week, and Last Week. The new Yahoo Mail layout is much harder to use. Sorting by newest or oldest is not the same as grouping emails under date headings. I want to see my emails separated into clear sections by date, as in the previous layout. Please restore this feature or add it as an option.

    Feedback on Recent Changes to Yahoo's Interface Dear Yahoo Team, I hope this message finds you well. I would like to express my concerns regarding the recent changes to the appearance and functionality of Yahoo. Many users, including myself, have appreciated the previous design and options available. It seems that rather than enhancing the user experience based on feedback, the changes have altered the interface significantly without providing alternative choices. While I understand that feedback is solicited, it appears that the implementation of user suggestions has not been reflected in the recent updates. The new design does not resonate well…

    i seem to only be able to access the calendar as its own full tab. where is the little one that used to be on the right hand panel?

  20. Move Forward, Spam, Delete Toolbar Back to Top of Inbox

    Please move the delete, forward, spam, etc toolbar back up to the top. It's so frustrating having it at the top of the individual email, when I do email view under the inbox. This is horrible. I want to switch back to the old version. Also, you need more than just light or dark mode. Light is way too much white, and dark is way too much black.
