Horrible layout and lack of user control
Why cant I remove the right side panel? I don't need to see my starred mail or contacts until I need them. It takes up way too much screen space. Also the preview pane should allow me to remove the header for reply, etc. With it forced in place, it makes the preview window so small, I cant see the email I am previewing.

we need archive button visible when message is open(like in bulk selection).
when i open a message either in pane view, or message view, the archive option is in the three dots. takes me 2+ clicks to archive message no matter where i am. archive is the most basic of functions. as important as delete.
btw, the archive button shows up as first icon in bulk selection mode.72nd ranked -
Desktop folders should also be able to be always visible.
I tried following the tips and they didn't work. I want to be able to see my folders at all times. I sort new messages into them and seeing unread notifications on them is useful.

Make it READABLE!!! Your new email is UNREADABLE and USELESS!!!
The font on the left is too light.
The bar at the bottom of the message is so large it obscures the entire message! WTF is wrong with you? To even read even part of the message, the page has to be reduced to a size that requires a magnifying glass to read.
I can no longer open a message in a new tab so that I can view multiple messages at the same time. If I right click I get a dropdown menu instead and have to open one message at a time and then hit "back" to return…

Make Basic Mail available to long time users
Bring back basic mail. It was simple and easy to use. This format is terrible!! But what does Yahoo care!!! Anything to make live more miserable for older folks!!!

Bring back the list on the left where I could select the email account easily
I could easily check any of the emails and folders because they were listed on the left all the time. I hate having to go to settings to access each time. Is that in those changes coming soon?

Return it so I can see ALL my other email accounts on the same screen!
Give options to users. One thing I really liked was seeing all my other email accounts on the same screen without having to constantly look for the little arrow on the bottom left, scroll to find the next email account, etc. Also the screen is big, I would rather have more options available to me to add to the screen then larger boxes, larger fonts, and ads.

New Mail misses message grouping by time periods.
The old Yahoo Mail automatically structured inbox views, folders, and search results into daily or periodic timeframes (such as day, week, month, or year) to help locate messages faster. I miss the feature in the new version.

Whatever you changed, it's the worst!
It's near impossible to tell what has or hasn't been read, and the font is hard to read.

Contrast
New View does not have enough contrast to made "read" emails less visible. The purple dot for unread is not the way to go.

New email is garbage
Please fire the idiot who designed the new email client interface. It now adds a new "visit site" button as a header to every email with a link in it, which is pretty much everything from a company, that is so big it takes up a quarter of the screen. IDIOTS!

How is it possible that you could "improve" Yahoo mail and make it less user-friendly? You all, I'm quite sure, are well paid, and the fact that you took away a few simple features is inexplicable. I prefer to open my mail, look to the left, and see the number of emails that await me. Gone. I like to star those emails worthy of a star - it use to be easy - now, it's more involved. SORTING
Classic yahoo had the ability to sort emails alphabetically regardless of when they were received. This makes it easy to perform bulk edits, deletes, moves etc. Can you please put this feature into the new yahoo. Thanks for your attention and consideration.

control over messages line spacing
Hi,
It would be very helpful to have control over how many message lines are displayed on the screen.
In the current version of Yahoo Mail, the spacing between messages is very large, which significantly reduces the number of emails visible at once.This affects productivity because it requires constant scrolling, makes it harder to scan the inbox quickly, and slows down navigation when managing a high volume of messages.
Having an option to reduce line spacing or define how many messages appear on the screen would greatly improve efficiency and workflow.Thank you for considering this enhancement.
