WHAT'S NEW?
Search by Sender - Just hover over the sender's profile image and a spyglass icon will appear where you can search all emails by that sender.
Multi-Tasking Tabs - Like before, open an email in a new tab.
AI Summaries - Ability to disable. Go to Settings > AI Features > Toggle Off
Number of Total Messages - Hover over the Inbox Icon and you will see both total number of messages and unread.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.

Differentiate Unread v. Read - Better ways to see the difference.
Resize Images - Resize an image within the message.
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently for Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.

    Cara YAHOO ho creato la mia mail nel lontano 1998. Con la limitazione dello spazio mail, mi avete costretto a eliminare tutte le mail che, di fatto, contenevano 38 anni di storia della mia vita. Immagino che sia così per tutti gli utenti yahoo.
    Non accetto di pagare perchè la richiesta fatta oggi appare come una forma di ricatto. Lo spazio mail è pieno di pubblicità che già vi consente di sostenere il sito. E se così non fosse un bravo manager dovrebbe trovare soluzioni alternative. Avrei qualche idea in merito. In ogni caso, manterrò la mia mail nei limiti…

  5. Allow me to manage my Emails...

    I use my cbstevek@yahoo.com mail as my primary Email. I also use cbstevek@hotmail.com as my junk Email. I generally will set up a new account to send to hotmail.com and then for ones that are important, I forward them to myself at yahoo where I have extensive rules and folders.

    I recently made a change to move my hotmail.com application out of my regular Email client and look at it either online or in the app. This seems to be working, except for the following problem (which pretty much breaks everything about what I want to do).

  7. Better demarcation between days. They all bleed together.

    There needs to be break between emails from one day to other days. As an example, all of todays emails would just show the time, then a breaker that said Tuesday and list Tuesday's emails, then Monday and list them, etc... Go maybe two days and then a breaker for Last week, two weeks ago, over a month, etc...

  8. Setup Filter from email

    As I am cleaning my inbox it would be really useful to be able to setup a filter from the inbox or from the message content. Having an option here would be very useful. I am no having to have 2 sessions open so I can have the inbox in one window and the filter options in another.
    An example would be in Outlook. You can right click on the message and choose Rules and Create Rule.

  9. Ask if I want to save as a draft

    Why does EVERYTHING save as a draft no matter what? I have so many drafts that have nothing in them, or are obsolete, because I closed them, not wanting to send an email, but was never asked if I wanted to save it as a draft. That really needs to be a function. I click the X on a new email, it should ask if I want to save it as a draft or not.

  10. The Preview Email Header is HUGE and AWFUL

    I'll try this new Yahoo for a day or two, but if I don't hear back that the header is going to shrink, or be allowed to manually set the size, I'm going back to classic. It literally blocks most of the email preview (especially in bottom view). That awful header is a deal breaker for me.

  11. Email Preview Header is AWFUL

    I'm going to try this for a couple of days, but the HUGE HEADER that blocks most of the message preview (bottom especially) is a deal breaker for me. Again, I'll give this a shot for a day or two, but right now I'm most likely going back to Yahoo Classic, as that header is AWFUL.

  12. Stop changing the Yahoo mail

    You're always changing the Yahoo Mail. When you're 70 years old it's extremely difficult to keep following up with all the new changes.Why does it always have to be changing?? I've sent some important emails.They disappeared now.I can't retrieve them anywhere

  15. Add a refresh button on inbox page

    I would love to have a refresh button next to inbox on the left pane which will fetch the latest mail.
    Currently I need to refresh the page in browser to see the new mail.

  16. Correct Fault With Incoming Links

    On incoming emails I'm finding some of the links not live. It seems like the markdown syntax is being removed/altered so links are not live. I have tried other types of email account (to make sure the error isn't in the originating end) and the links always arrive fully functioning. They are only failing when sent to Yahoo accounts.

  18. I don't like what you have done to my home page. It's got more stuff that I never had before and is not relevant. to me

    I cant get my emails now. Once in a while I'll get one or two but nothing good about it. Yahoo itself is so messed up with garbage, a person cant get to an article because you have so much in the way. I can see you didn't change the site with the user in mind which doesn't surprise me at all. It's all about the advertising, well I hope your satisfied. Yahoo has been going down hill for years in their consumer area and comment areas. I used to get one or 2 though but not now, why dont…

  19. Hey yahoo. Will you ever fix this new mail site? It was very fine in the first place, then you put this half baked thing instead that isn't

    even working correctly.
    You want a suggestion? Put that old version back. Your last left users sure were not here for bells and whistles. The new has none of them anyway. Are you working towards a rage-relationship? That won't work.
