TIPS:
Disable Inbox Categories (All, Primary, etc) - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Inbox Categories.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Sort By Sender - This is still a sorting option, but you must disable Conversation view under your Settings. Then you will see "Sender name"
Disable AI Summaries - Go to Settings > AI features > Toggle Off

  2. New Email Format

    I have not been on my laptop email in awhile, and DO Not like the channge, not user friendly. I would like to get my old email format back. How can I do this? Please advise.

  4. SWITCHING BACK TO PREVIOUS VERSION PLS>>>

    Please reconsider the new Yahoo Mail layout and restore the option to switch back to the previous version. The new layout is extremely difficult to navigate and is simply not user-friendly. I personally have several Yahoo email accounts, and several members of my family use Yahoo as well. This change has made something that used to be simple unnecessarily stressful, confusing, and overwhelming. It honestly gives me brain fog trying to navigate it. Please listen to your longtime users and give us the CHOICE to return to the previous Yahoo Mail. Thank you.

  5. Please give back the option to have the old yahoo mail look and feel!!!!

    The new yahoo look and feel is terrible. It is clunky, slow and distracting. Please at least give the option to return to the classic look.

  7. Stop sending wanted emails (in my contacts) to SPAM

    Please change settings so that if you have someone (or even a whole domain option) in your contacts, the emails don't go to SPAM.

    I have been marking them as not SPAM for months and months, but emails keep going there, even though they are in contacts and marked as NOT SPAM regularly.

  9. New structure sucks

    "Cute" fonts and abbreviations degrade the ability to scan for particular names or messages. If colors are assigned to a name WE need to assign them, not applying randomly.

  10. Please offer us this option

    "Sign in with your fingerprint or code
    With a passkey, you can sign in quickly using your fingerprint or the code you use to unlock your device."

    I have neither the need nor the desire to add this level of security to my personal e-mail. I would like to see the option to never see this pop-up again after signing in.

  13. Automatically delete messages in the Spam folder

    Currently, Yahoo Mail does not offer a way to automatically delete emails from blocked domains so that they never appear in any folder, including Spam or Junk. The system is designed to keep these messages out of your inbox but not to remove them from your account entirely. This should be changed to automatically delete these messages, maybe a choice of immediate, one day, etc.

  18. Have option to change back to Classic especially for seniors. I am 82 years old and very unhappy with this new version

    I am 82 years old and do a volunteer local newsletter. I have used Yahoo email for over 25 years and so far have been very satisfied. For some reason without my permission I can no longer go back to Classic where I could see the whole message area, not have things popping up so I can't see what I am doing. There is no way you can convince me that this is an improvement. Please tell me how I can go back to the old Classic. Thank you!

  19. Terrible Redesign

    Get rid of the circle icons of whoever is sending the email. And stop making the ads look like emails so we accidently click on them. So frustrating this terrible new design. And now I have to so searching for my folders to see any new sorted emails instead of just seeing all of the expanded on the side. Terrible redesign.
