TIPS:
Disable Inbox Categories (All, Primary, etc) - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Inbox Categories.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Sort By Sender - This is still a sorting option, but you must disable Conversation view under your Settings. Then you will see "Sender name"
Disable AI Summaries - Go to Settings > AI features > Toggle Off

  1. i find it very awkward only being allowed to view one email at a time

    the new tabs idea is not as useful as being able to open multiple emails. can you please give users the option to have two or more emails open at the same time as in the previous version. I find it very awkward to switch between them when only one can be viewed at a time

    too many bubblle and a goofy layout, regardless of setting. BRING BACK THE CLASSIC FORMAT. MUCH SIMPLER AND CLEANER NOBODY ASKED FOR THIS

  4. CAN'T STAND NEW YAHOO EMAIL

    TERRIBLE! THIS EMAIL IS SO AWFUL, THAT AFTER 20 YEARS OF USING YAHOO I MIGHT JUST LEAVE. THEY DON'T LET YOU TOGGLE BACK TO CLASSIC. AND, AND SOME ACCOUNTS HAVE THAT OPTION TO TOGGLE AND SOME (LIKE MINE) DO NOT HAVE THAT OPTION. HOW TOTALLY STUPID? NO ONE, READ YOUR CHAT / FEEDBACK BOARDS - NO ONE LIKES THE NEW YAHOO EMAIL!!

  5. Don't go to "New Yahoo" email

    Hey! all advertisers that pay for ads with Yahoo. I no longer look at my yahoo mail from the Yahoo site. I check my email from "Outlook". Yahoo mail format is SSOOOOOOO ****** I will not use it anymore and therefore will not see any ads that you pay Yahoo for me to see. GET RID OF YAHOO!!

  6. TURN OFF DISTRACTIONS and POPUPS on inbox screen

    I am not reading my email to keep score of how well I read my email, to earn idiotic and meaningless "awards" or to attend a circus.
    I DO NOT appreciate popups interrupting me. I have popups BLOCKED on most sites. Why is this one appearing here?
    There are too many distractions with the icons on every message, animated ads that move along the sides of the page, and ads that pop in and out of the list of emails. Get rid of those, too.
    DELETE THE MESS. It looks like a circus poster, not an email inbox.

  8. Put separations back into Mail

    The new mail, without noticeable separations, is hard to navigate. The old Mail was much easier. Why make it difficult?

  11. Ads are fine. Misleading subjects, not so much.

    Such as: "Subject: One New Message. Preview: "You have new messages in your inbox."

  13. Do you need new servers

    Since you loaded this up and forced it on us it is slower then (you know what). It also seems you gave up some real estate in the viewing menu. Its difficult to read an email in the viewing window which was not there before. he only way I can see this is to change the viewing setting per email (?) why?
    If you can not speed the system up to what it was can I please go back to what I had before. While there are some new options that look a little better the overall speed has me…

  14. Format and navigation sucks!

    Hate the (Improved) New Yahoo mail! The message area has the least real estate on the screen. Have to scroll side to side and up and down to read messages. I'm here to read mail, not be entertained or sold something. Multiple steps now require to access other mailboxes! Will be moving to Protonmail as they seem to really care about the customer experience!

    Too bad "Format" isn't one of you subject categories! Just shows your lack of understanding as to why users are actually using email.

  18. Please make it easier to delete messages

    Email applications have two primary tools: Reading and Deleting. Deleting is probably number one now. Any click that is 1 pixel off results in opening the message. Make the checkboxes bigger or something.

  20. Restore old way of moving message to folder

    In old version, once the folder was found, it was enough to click Enter.
    In new version, additional actions (using kb or mouse) is required. Unnecessary and irritating.
