TIPS:
Disable Inbox Categories (All, Primary, etc) - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Inbox Categories.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Sort By Sender - This is still a sorting option, but you must disable Conversation view under your Settings. Then you will see "Sender name"
Disable AI Summaries - Go to Settings > AI features > Toggle Off

  5. Sort UNREAD Emails BY SENDER NAME

    I HAVE REQUESTED FOR MONTHS TO HAVE THE UNREAD OR THE INBOX SORT UNREAD BY SENDERS NAME AND NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE.

    MARILYN J YOUR SR. COMMUNITY MANAGER SENT ME AN EMAIL ASKING FOR MORE INFORMATION ON JULY 31ST. I RESPONDED AND SENT OTHER EMAILS TRYING TO FOLLOW UP BUT SHE HASNT RESPONDED OR NO ONE HAS FOLLOWED UP. WHY IS THIS SO HARD WHEN SORTING BY SENDER NAME WOULD BE EASY TO ADD AND EASIER FOR A USER WHO USES YAHOO. DO BETTER.

  6. Need to be able to block emails from the main menu or on each email.

    Install a block button on the main menu for emails that are unwanted.

  7. Give senior citizens a super easy email to use.

    Seniors have difficulty navigating and using anything new on their computers. Giving them the OPTION of keeping the classic email would alleviate much anxiety and frustration. Please think of us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  14. Make the interface less jumpy - things jump around SO MUCH

    The new Yahoo mail is incredibly jumpy on the browser version. Tabs make the whole page jump around when you need multiple emails open. Scrolling down past the emails shown on the screen causes the whole thing to jump and 'burp' and loses its place that is difficult to find again. Switching between folders, and back to inbox it also is jumpy.

    Need more differentiation between read and unread emails, just the slight bold for unread emails does not make an easily identifiable way to tell which are unread. Since everything appears closer in colors to everything else now it…

    The current Search your mail feature performs a comprehensive search across all folders, including subfolders. It would be beneficial to have an Inbox‑only option that allows users to exclude subfolder results and limit the search to the main Inbox.
