TIPS:
Disable Inbox Categories (All, Primary, etc) - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Inbox Categories.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Sort By Sender - This is still a sorting option, but you must disable Conversation view under your Settings. Then you will see "Sender name"
Disable AI Summaries - Go to Settings > AI features > Toggle Off

  4. Bring Back Basic Mail!!!!!!!!!

    YOUR NEW MAIL SUCKS ASSSSSSSS! This supposed to be a platform to deliver and receive email. Your new systems email window is so small, it's USELESS, but you've seen fit to never allow me to go back to Basis. Seriously makes me want to go find something else!

  8. Bring Right Click Filtering

    Bring back the ability to filter emails by right clicking and choosing a folder that any email from that person/company would be filtered to.

  9. Return the themes you had before!

    Where are the themes you used to have? I can't stand this new look. The only options are light or dark and no way to go back to the old Yahoo Mail.

  10. 24 hour availability to restore mail

    Don't offer an option to restore mail if it is available 24/7.

    Yahoo Mail deleted the original message when I deleted the draft message I was forwarding. Nothing in Trash. Nothing in Sent although I had forwarded the original message to a different party. Nothing inTrash. The message was completely deleted.

  12. Feedback and Request to Restore the Previous Yahoo Mail Version

    Dear Yahoo Mail Team,

    I would like to express my dissatisfaction with the new Yahoo Mail interface. Unfortunately, the new version is much less user-friendly and convenient compared to the previous version.

    The previous interface was simpler, clearer, and easier to navigate. The new design feels more complicated and makes it difficult to access and manage emails efficiently, especially for users who are accustomed to the previous layout.

    I kindly ask Yahoo to reconsider this change and, if possible, bring back the previous version or provide users with an option to switch back to the classic interface.

  13. Sub-folder levels are not clearly shown, it looks mixing up with Folders.

    Folders can be bolded or use different colors to denote Folders, Sub-folders and Sub-sub-folders.

  14. Not Receiving Flickr Verification Codes to my Yahoo Mailbox!

    Flickr supposedly sends a verification code to my Yahoo mail account. I made sure the account was correct and also checked all folders, including Spam - NOTHING! Please look into this bug.

  15. Yahoo Mail cannot send or receive emails

    Yahoo Mail cannot send or receive emails. Incoming messages are rejected with SMTP error 552 5.2.2 “mailbox full”, although storage shows only 7.4 GB used and the app shows 7.43 GB of 1 TB with 99% available. I already reduced storage from about 10 GB to 7.4 GB and emptied Trash. Please investigate the mailbox quota/provisioning status on the server side.

  16. Light mode does not work – inbox remains dark

    Light mode does not work in New Yahoo Mail

    Since my account was forced to switch to the New Yahoo Mail, the mailbox remains in Dark Mode even when I select Settings → Appearance → Light.

    The Settings panel itself correctly changes between Light and Dark, but when I return to the mailbox/inbox, the mailbox remains black.

    I have tested this on two completely different computers:

    • Mac with Safari — Yahoo Mail remains dark even when macOS Appearance is set to Light.
    • Windows PC with a light system theme — Yahoo Mail also remains dark.

  18. Why try improving something that isn't broken?!

    This "new" version of Yahoo mail is RIDICULOUS!!! It's slow! It's chunky! It's severely flawed in so many ways, it's impossible to sit here and describe them all! The question is why? Why for the love of God, would you change what we had before to this nonsense?! It makes absolutely zero sense! Instead, of wasting time on trying out new wall papers, why not allocate the teams time to enhancing/improving the security of Yahoo mail? Don't bother answering that because I already know the answer. It makes too much sense.
