TIPS:
Disable Inbox Categories (All, Primary, etc) - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Inbox Categories.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Sort By Sender - This is still a sorting option, but you must disable Conversation view under your Settings. Then you will see "Sender name"
Disable AI Summaries - Go to Settings > AI features > Toggle Off

  2. Revert back to previous version

    The New Yahoo Mail is infuriatingly SLOW. Yahoo forced this version on me several months ago and I was able to revert back to the previous version. Please allow me to use the previous version. Every time you make changes, you make it more and more like Gmail. If I want to use Gmail, then I will use Gmail. There is no point in Yahoo offering the same as Google. Offer a differentiated service - fast and simple to use.

  4. New version SUCKS. I want the old version back.

    You foisted this 'new' version on me before.
    It SUCKED. Who needs a new learning curve?
    Then you put me back on the old version. Good.
    Now you're trying the new version again. Newsflash: IT STILL SUCKS!

    It sucked. Who needs a new learning curve?
    Then you brought back the old version. Good.
    Now you've brought the new version again.
    It STILL sucks! It's worse than new Coke.

  8. So slow it is unusable

    It's been a week and I've disabled any features that slow down the experience, but this is still unbearably slow and unusable. It totally ruins yahoo email. I've had to resort to using my iPhone or iPad instead because this web interface is terrible. THIS IS NOT AN IMPROVEMENT. THIS IS NOT A BETTER PRODUCT.

  9. Switch Back

    I HATE his new email & want my old version back. I am rapidly losing my patients & am looking into other options. I would much rather keep my Yahoo account, but this is extremely annoying! Please change my account back ASAP!!!

  10. There's nothing about New Mail that I like. Sorry, I prefer Outlook and Gmail, where I can go directly to my inbox without the "primaries."

    The classic look was organized and separated out my email by today, last week, older, etc. This new version, which we have to have now, has all email in a row which is difficult to view

    The move to a folder icon is in 2 different places when you are looking at your inbox or in an open email. Put them in the same place for easier navigation

  13. Please let me go back to Basic yahoo mail!

    Hi
    I really love your basic yahoo mail and can't handle the new yahoo. You have disabled my right to use Basic on my account. I have been a customer for over 20 years. This failure to be able to make my own choice is highly disappointing. Please let me chose. If not, then it may benefit me to move elsewhere my loyalty to yahoo mail.

  16. The new yahoo look is severely awful

    The new yahoo mail update is too heavy and drastically slowing down the computers specially the old ones also it is really difficult to work with. Changing the look is something annoying, but what makes it worst is, you remove the option of shifting that to its previous look. All my family members have shifted from yahoo to google.

  18. Go back to the basic Yahoo mail

    This new version is a total disaster and borderline unusable, especially for people with impaired eyesight. It's very slow and has an extremely poor use of screen real estate.

    The basic Yahoo was far, far superior in every way. Why do you insist on making things worse all the time?
