filter messages quick menu option
There used to be a quick menu selection for "filter messages like these" which worked very well and was a single click when in a message. Now it is buried in settings with a confusing dialog box to accomplish a simple goal, to have a message route to a different folder. No reason to remove this from quick menu, and make the basic function unnecessarily confusing.

Complaint
I do not like this new inbox version. I didn't like it when it first came out so I switched back to the old way. Now I learn that the old way is no longer available. I do not think that is right for you to do. People should have a choice on which one they prefer and not change it. The old way was just fine. I may not continue using Yahoo mail anymore since you took away people's options.

Starred Email marker (and other actions)
Another casualty of change just to justify change:
The star to mark emails, once smartly located in a way consistent with its purpose --to highlight, get attention-- (actually clickable in two locations on an email) has now been moved. Rather than separate and easily accessible, it has been inconveniently moved to the middle of a tight pack of other action options.
A smarter reorganization would be to put a space between items that move the email (trash, spam, previous, next) and those that modify its status: read/unread and starred. In fact, three pairs of actions with a space or marker…

Shrink the wasted space so we can have the email page open larger
When we open an email, all this space from the top of the yahoo mail to the Visit site icon is just too big. It is completely wasted and uses up too much of my viewable screen. And that is the main reason I hate the new Yahoo mail.
At least let us size it so our smaller computers can view more of our selected email.

Expand message viewable area
Some messages are larger in width than the viewing area. The total message should be readable without trying to move it side to side. Come on Yahoo!! If we have to use this terrible 'upgrade' it should at least be usable!!

When I go to my spam folder and see obviously spam messages by hovering over the sender, I am suddenly no longer able to block the senders, even though I'm nowhere near the 1000 blocked senders limit.

Create filter from email
Would like to create filter from the context of an email which i have opened, this feature was available in the prev version.
Currently It adds several manual steps: copying the sender or subject, opening Settings, navigating to Filters, creating the rule, choosing a folder, and saving it. That’s much slower than creating a filter directly from the message you’re already viewing.
This was the only reason i was on the yahoo mail

we are not able to select SMALL or LARGE on images we paste into email
in the old email, we could do it and there is no longer a way to adjust the graphic you paste in the email and it can overpower the whole thing

Limit blocked senders to 10,000
The spam and phishing BS are out of hand. The option to select all spam and block all future emails from sender have mysteriously vanished overnight. Yahoo claims they limit spam emails from sending too many at once, but that doesn't stop this one from sending literally EVERY MINUTE. I had to copy and paste each one to manually add them to my block list. I will run out of free space soon. I would have paid for a premium account, but the free one is not very good, so I'm not looking to upgrade.

Please restore being able to drag images into an email and setting them to be attachments rather than inline.
Your recent changes to Yahoo Mail eliminated the ... at upper right of a dragged image. It was convenient to be able to click those dots and change my image to be an attachment. Now I have to use the paperclip, which is less convenient. Please consider restoring the option. I find inline images to be very cumbersome.

Advertisement problem
Some of us cannot afford to go ad-free. Placing an "Ad" just above inbox messages creates problems when an errant click on the ad is made. I did that recently, and the ad was a hack telling me my computer had been taken over. Fortunately a nearby person with tech wisdom navigated me out of this trap. For the care of those who cannot afford ad-free, can you please reconsider selling ad space on the thin line just above the inbox messages of email. Thanks for fixing this problem.
