TIPS:
Disable Inbox Categories (All, Primary, etc) - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Inbox Categories.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Sort By Sender - This is still a sorting option, but you must disable Conversation view under your Settings. Then you will see "Sender name"
Disable AI Summaries - Go to Settings > AI features > Toggle Off

  1. Please make all linked inboxes visible at a glance on one screen.

    Please allow me to go back to classic yahoo. I have 5 accounts, all linked here. I can see, with a glance, on one page, if I have any new emails that need attention. Currently with the "new and improved" version, I have to click on each page and then click on all, on each page, to see if I have new email.

    While this may be new, it is not improved.

  4. Restore the ability to see all email accounts at once

    Please please PLEASE restore the ability to see all email accounts at one time. This new and UNimproved version requires the user to click at the bottom of the left panel to see the list of mail accounts and then choose individually. How can I even know there is something waiting for me in the other accounts without running through each individually? I'm really seeing nothing that enhances my experience with this new Yahoo mail, but this particular change inhibits my ability to be efficient. I can't be the only one.

  5. How about fixing being unable to create a subfolder

    WELL. First your help sections do not address the unable to create a subfolder. When following the instructions (Create, Delete or rename folders in New yahoo Mail) Clicking on "Folders" does not create a search folder.; Second if you are on the folder, clicking on the more options icon only gives you a share option. Not much help.

  6. Calendar Feedback

    Bring back the single click icon for Calendar - - using a pull down to get to it is a PAIN!!!!

    Also you new front end is VERY slow to respond compared to the old version - - so not an upgrade

  7. Make sure its up to date with help hints online

    Been trying to find filters and now can't find them despite using a laptop. I keep getting a lot of unwanted spam 3 to 5 times a day. can we have a clear button under settings that says filters,,, because I can't find it anywhere.

  8. Disable streaks or achievements

    Yahoo. You are email. Just let us do email things. I don't care or want streaks or achievements. You're not a game. Why is this even a thing?? I don't want you reading receipts, I don't want streaks for opening email. I use you for work. You're not a toy. Just let us go back to how it was!!

  10. I can't see my folders anymore

    I would like to be able to see all the folders without having to navigate. I used to be able to scroll down through all the available folders

  11. Why can't I open email attachments on the mobile app after updating to the new version of Yahoo Mail?

    After updating to the latest version of the Yahoo Mail app on my iPhone, I can no longer open email attachments. It displays a notification saying: "UNABLE TO PREVIEW, UNABLE TO DOWNLOAD THIS ATTACHMENT, PLEASE TRY AGAIN." I have tried deleting and reinstalling the app, as well as logging out and logging back in numerous times; however, it only works briefly—showing the old interface and allowing me to open files—before switching to the new interface, at which point I can no longer open attachments.

  13. Restore the large-smaller option when adding a picture (not an attachment)

    Just RESTORE the picture option of larger - smaller...it worked just fine!!!
    The present format is regressive stupidity and takes us back to stupid times!
    I am not talking about the attachment pictures. Thank you.

  14. It has way too many clicks to do the same thing the old system did in one click

    How do I get back to the old system. This new one is very hard to use with lots more clicks to get where I want to go

  15. stuck tooltips

    Hi the Mail Plus web client has but where pop-up tooltips do not disappear and remain "stuck" on the screen.
    When I mouse over folders in the left column, sometimes the tooltip doesn't disappear so I have leftover tips on my screen.

  17. put search on the right AFTER reading the thing to search for

    The /n ( https://mail.yahoo.com/n ) new Yahoo email presentation on 2026-08-27 shows email sender with the serch on the left, this is counter intuitive, we read left-to-right, so I will read the sender's name first, then, moving to the right, I expect to control what I just read and comprehended. To go back to the left to find and click the search is backwards, literally, and the mouse then obscrurs the name of the person I might be looking to search for, so I have to move the mouse away, conrirm I'm on the right line, then move the mouse…

  18. scaling to fit

    Hello. Sadly, I do not like the new layout, primarily because it doesn't fit my 17" HP laptop screen anymore. I don't know if scaling is adjustable, but the header on the inbox is so tall, I cannot see enough mails in the list at once, NOR can I read more than a single line of an open mail without trying to scroll down to see it -- and the scroll on this machine is too fast to be that precise. I don't have the time or knowledge to change any of this. PLEASE let me "go back"!

  19. Allow for Bulk Deletion of Old Unread Emails

    Please allow for bulk deleting. If I search for all unread messages older than 1/1/2020, for instance, I will get over 59,000 messages!! If I then select all of those messages and try to delete them your system will not delete them. This is nuts!! Why can't you make this happen?

  20. Need to turn off the Big Round Dots with Bright Colors due to sensory overload

    Next to each small blue dot is a Big Round Colorful Dot before each sender's name, and I don't think these BIG dots can be turned off. Their BIG size and bright color make it very difficult to look at for people like me who are prone to sensory overload. They make me feel dizzy almost immediately and hard to concentrate, and as a result, I become irritable, anxious and unable to concentrate. This is a medical condition in both adults and young adults.
    With the small blue dots marking individual e-mails, there's no need to have the overwhelmingly Big…
