Unfortunately, you cannot revert back. We are only making the new one better. We know change is frustrating and hard but we really hope you'll give the new layout a fair chance.


WHAT'S NEW:
Calendar - We moved it from under "More" on the right hand side to it's own icon. Still on the right hand side, but it's now the first icon next to Starred and Contacts.

TIPS:
Disable Inbox Categories (All, Primary, etc) - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Inbox Categories.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Sort By Sender - This is still a sorting option, but you must disable Conversation view under your Settings. Then you will see "Sender name"
Disable AI Summaries - Go to Settings > AI features > Toggle Off

  3. Return to previous e mail format

    I find the new e mail format tedious and difficult to navigate...........if it can be returned to those of us who do not take a lot of tech changes well it would be terrific............using symbols rather than words to identify options is horrific

  4. Give me my old email look back

    This new look is impossible to use, it covers 90% of my screen leaving just a narrow window to view emails. It's pure garbage, how do I get my old basic yahoo back, you know, the one that's worked just fine for years ???

  5. Need a better way to show unread email

    The small purple dot next to unread email is not bold enough or large enough to highlight unread mail.
    Make it larger or highlight the entire email listing, like the old yahoo mail.

  6. Can't See the Whole Email

    When an email message is displayed on my laptop screen, I can't see the whole image because the right side is obscured by ads. I have to move the image left and right to read it. This is very annoying. I implore you to revert to the old version of email and stop this torture!

    Yahoo says "compact view.... is coming soon". Why in heaven's name was this awful new, slow, version forced on us before the compact view option was available.

  15. How about Yahoo stops forcing their customers to use a new product they didn't ask for?

    I want the old version of my Yahoo basic mail back. I was forced to change to the new Yahoo mail. I did not ask for it. I do not want it. If it's broke, don't fix it. I don't care about how much better the new Yahoo mail is. I don't want to hear about the new and improved features. Stop forcing people to change.

  16. Compose is the better word.

    "Compose" is now called "New message"? Seriously?

    "compose" is a unique label specific to the act of composing.
    "New message" can mean there is a new received message there.
    "Message"? It's an email. This is not a messaging app.

  17. New Yahoo mail needs to go faster

    The old basic Yahoo mail was faster. Now I have a sluggish, time-consuming Yahoo mail that shows too few entries on one page and it takes 4 times as long to go through hundreds of newsletters as it did before.

  18. Give me access to both of my email addresses, repair or replace half posted type, get rid of all the huge adds or other junk that I have

    When changing what you show tell the person that's what your going to do. I want my email vision back to what it was before you changed it I can't get past huge ads, I can't read the new type and it only show upper half the of the type. It's mess and I can't find my other email

  20. Show more emails on one page. STOP the double spacing.

    Absolutely appalling. I used to be able to see almost 20 or more emails on one page. The double spacing in new Yahoo means only about 5 or 6 emails appear on one page. This is ABSOLUTELY USELESS. If this is not fixed, I am going to change to Outlook or Gmail. I get over 50 newsletters a day on Yahoo. I am completely unable to use this new version.
