Allow us to collapse the side right panel when not being used
The right side panel needs a way to be closed when it is not being used. I have no interest at all in having a list of starred messaged or contacts taking up a significant portion of the screen width, and I do not use Yahoo Calendar. This means that my list of messages is squished and the subject lines are truncated and less helpful to read while leaving almost a third of the screen width empty and unused. This makes the webmail much more difficult to use. I am a web programmer, so I understand that no one likes…

Remove "Streaks"
Please, for the love of all things holy, remove "Streaks" all together. Managing my emails does not need, or even should, be turned into a game. This is utterly pointless, and childish. I would leave Yahoo if my life wasn't tied to this account, as it has been for decades.

let me delete all unread emails at once!
I have over 5,600 unread emails and Yahoo Mail's limit of selecting only 100 emails at a time makes account cleanup nearly impossible. The lack of a true "Select All Unread" feature places an unnecessary burden on users and creates hours of repetitive work. Please implement a way to select and delete all unread messages at once, or restore the functionality that was previously available. This is a basic email management feature that users should reasonably expect.

With the Classic or Basic I was able to save emails into one my 12 folders. With the new Yahoo Mail I am no longer able to reach all my folders. I've used Yahoo for years. I've tried Gmail, but don't like it. I'm 80 years old and extremely organized. I regularly eliminate read emails. My folders and files are carefully maintained, with no excess.

Give Users the Option to Return to the Old Yahoo Mail
I strongly prefer the previous Yahoo Mail desktop experience. The new design is less intuitive, less efficient, and makes everyday email management more difficult. Many long-time users were comfortable with the old layout, so removing the option to switch back is very disappointing.
Yahoo says it wants to improve the experience, but real improvement means giving users flexibility and choice. If some people like the new version, that's fine, but users who prefer the old interface should be able to keep it. The future of software is about flexibility, not forcing everyone into a single design.

Negative feedback is coming in at such a rate that Yahoo has to discourage it on all feedback pages. Hmm, maybe just re-enable Classic until the new layout is actually better? I figure about a week until someone vibe codes the classic interface and supresses all the ads.

I very much want a way to block emails from spam and also apply a filter to block emails with key words in either or both the sender or subject line, sender email (in part or full based on common email senders), and country code in sender field, i.e. .uk.
