Unfortunately, you cannot revert back. We are only making the new one better. We know change is frustrating and hard but we really hope you'll give the new layout a fair chance.


WHAT'S NEW:
Calendar - We moved it from under "More" on the right hand side to it's own icon. Still on the right hand side, but it's now the first icon next to Starred and Contacts.

TIPS:
Disable Inbox Categories (All, Primary, etc) - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Inbox Categories.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Sort By Sender - This is still a sorting option, but you must disable Conversation view under your Settings. Then you will see "Sender name"
Disable AI Summaries - Go to Settings > AI features > Toggle Off

  1. recently i am missing some setting in spam

    so recently i noticed that i am missing the ability to block spam emails an i really really really want that back i rather have the blocked feature in the spam fold then the inbox cuz it is more likely i will block spam mail then mail in my inbox please please please fix this asap please i am begging

  2. Options for larger text and adjusting contrast

    Hello! I don't mind the redesign for the most part. The two things I wish I had more control over were the default text size, especially when viewing my inbox, and how much contrast there is between the text and the background. The old customized backgrounds let me pick a background that made the text easier on my eyes. Both the light and dark mode options available are very harsh, especially for someone with a visual disability like me.

    I'd really like the option to adjust my text contrast and make the text in the inbox/navigation bars a little bit…

  3. More space to see entire email

    With the latest update, I can no longer see the whole email and have to move the slider back and forth just to read the lines in a message, which is very frustrating. Need more space to be able to read an email.

  4. Difficulty to deleting an email.

    When I select the email, it will no ending for email email quantity and able to scroll and scroll.
    If with able to select the feature quantity email show per page, we able to delete an email easily and manage our inbox.

    With existing I unable to bulk delete an non related email. I need to select one by one and causing high consume of time.

    Please make an number of email going to display per page. We are able to make the bulk delete.

  5. Reduce headers and non-message space wasters

    I can rarely see a full image in email messages in the "improved" version of Yahoo mail. Why is there so much wasted space in the bizarrely wide borders around message content panels? Too much scrolling to accommodate this lazy and inconsiderate design choice.

    Do better, Yahoo.

  7. Preview image no longer appears under a link Im sending

    When sending a gallery link to a client, the feature image of the gallery always automatically appeared under the link. But in the new Yahoo mail, it never appears. I need to make it appear, is there a way? Thank you.

  9. Bring back the option to limit number of messages on a page.

    When I wanted to get my e-mail count down, I relied on the feature to include a limited number of messages on a page so I could Select All, then Delete. (This was extremely helpful for marketing e-mails that came from the same sender.) Continuous scroll eliminates this option. I understand that change is inevitable, but giving users the option to limit number of messages on a page would be fantastic. Thanks!

  10. Enable users to select colors of the New Yahoo Mail

    Enable users to select colors used by the New Yahoo Mail (if not all users, then at least those who subscribe to Yahoo Mail Plus).

    (I looked for this feature under "Appearance" in "Settings", and did not find it.)

    Enable users to have a default view of the inbox with previews of messages and without a pane (such as a starred messages pane, a contact pain, or a calendar pane).

    It should be possible to do this under "Appearance" in "Settings".

  14. This is unusable as a person with visual impairment

    Yahoo Mail needs to improve the layout in order for people who are visually impaired, like me, to be able to use a large font AND view both the email list and message layout in a usable manner. The new format cuts off messages (no matter where the message layout is), scroll bars, and etc. It is unusable on a desktop, which is where I tend to use Yahoo Mail the most.     I do not like how you took away a lot of features I use to use in the old Basic Yahoo e-mail. I had been using it for years. You can no longer check all in the Inbox. You have to check 1 box then you can go to the top and select check all. Very time consuming. Also the Inbox does not load all the e-mails like it use to.   16. Start over and this time test it before rolling it out

    Re. New Yahoo Mail —

    This new version is terrible! I have tried — for over two hours — to write/compose an email. I cannot attach a Link that will open to display a photo as I've always been able to do. The settings ( gear icon ) is nowhere to be found and accessed.

    The tab button doesn't work when applied in writing an email.

    It would take me 30 minutes to itemize the list of things that the "New Yahoo Mail" does not allow when writing an email.

  18. I have a problem with my Profile Icon

    In the new mail, emails that I have forwarded to myself and emails from Yahoo Calendar show my Profile Icon as YR. My initials are KE. Why is it saying YR?
    Also, when I went to Sent Messages, I saw the same email from Calendar saying KE, which is correct. When I went back to my Inbox, it had changed YR to KE, so I think it's a bug.
    Please fix this.

  19. Get rid of childish "tasks" and "accomplishments"

    What idiot decided that Yahoo Mail should be reduced to a childish game of "what have I done today, Mommy"? Get rid of the idiotic **** and return to the business-like format and appearance of the previous Yahoo Mail. BTW, I can't find "Settings" anywhere in this asinine "change for changes sake" version (or was this simply a programmer ploy to look busy?). The new Yahoo Mail STINKS!
