only one of my yahoo addresses has the sort by sender option
only one of my yahoo addresses has the sort by sender option. all the others just have by newest or oldest. the settings are the same for each address. the conversations setting is set to off. why does only one address get this option?

Option to remove/minimize/disable the new right-side panel
This panel takes up space and there should be an option to disable it.

Basic Mail
Provide more settings so user can make mail appear like the basic version (i.e., get rid of distracting colored initials/icons before senders names in the inbox, allow adjustment of spacing between e-mails in inbox, allow adjustment of background colors, etc.).
The new forced appearance is not as clean looking as the basic mail and therefore slows down navigation.

Photos - Yahoo going backwards when it should be going forward
Why did you mess up the ability to see all your photos in your inbox it was one of the best features I do not understand why this was pruned. PLease take another look at it and reinstate or let me go back to the old version. Why make it harder to look at all your photos now from your emails it was so quick and easy

Have an option to make the "send from" drop-down visible by default on every reply message
One of the reasons I continue to pay for Yahoo Mail Plus when there are so many free options available for email is the fact that YMP allows the use of multiple email aliases and filters, and I use them frequently. After the change to the new Yahoo Mail format, however, it is harder to send or reply to emails using these alternate email addresses because when I reply to a message that comes through an email re-router (like Craigslist), my reply automatically starts composing the reply from my MAIN EMAIL ADDRESS instead of the alternate address that was actually…

Bold subject lines
Currently the subject line and message preview are visually indistinguishable except for a tiny bullet separating the two, making the inbox a homogeneous mess to read. The subject line needs to be bolded so you can actually tell what it is.

Login screen clutter
When logging in you pick which account to use by clicking on the tile. Only, when you hover over the tile with the email address you want on it, first the delete tile button is too big. Why does it have a central location? It's in the way. Then, if you accidentally hover over your email address you get a black popup with your email address written on it again! And you can't click while it's there! What is the point of this?

Give options to minimize ai presence
I don't need AI and don't use it. I am capable of reading and forming my own thoughts without using it. I really hate this mail constantly trying to force me to interact with things I do not want to use. Please let me just use my email with less senseless cluttering.

Restore and maintain the sophistication of the search feature by enabling searches with greater combinations of search criteria
With previous versions of Yahoo Mail, it was possible to search for messages with a combination of more criteria than it is with the new version.
For example, one could search the inbox and all folders or just the messages in one particular folder for messages which contain the name "Philadelphia" AND which have a subject that contains the name "Pennsylvania" AND which were sent in the year 2025 AND which have an attachment.

WHY HIDE THE EMAIL ADDRESSES?
you used to show all four of my email address and if I had unread emails in each, now I have to click on the bottom icon to show the four email addresses and even then, it's hit or miss if I can open one of them. PLEASE show all the email addresses all the time without making go through two steps to see what I have going on.

Go back to wrapping text in calendar events
If you are going to update the look of the Yahoo calendar, don't remove good aspects of the previous version.
Please go back to wrapping text in calendar events as it did before. Text was easier to read. The text now gets cut off and is no longer easy to read. I can understand when you are just editing or adding an event with one long line of text. At least you used to be able to see the full text after saving.

Display of email recipients
I'm trying to type an email which is to multiple recipients, and when I click the "+more" to display them all, then click in the email to continue typing, all the "+more" email addresses disappear again back to "+more". How do I keep all the email addresses visible so I can see who the various people are that I am responding to?
I just gone to the sent folder and picked on sent recipients to show their email addresses so I can take a screen capture and the text flyout box covers the top of the email and there doesn't…

align messages again to ease deletion process
On my desktop I used to be able to delete messages one after another without having to move my mouse. Now the first is deleted and the next click (without moving) no longer shows the trash can so instead it opens the next message . I don't like to select and delete all at once- I delete one at a time, while skimming/ reading emails in my inbox. Make sense?
