Reading Pane
The reading pane is too small. The fourth column (the last one on the right) the one that houses the starred items, contacts and settings is too wide. It would be nice to be able to collapse the last column on the right.

longer save in drafts
I use the drafts to compose group email newsletters, this way I can make changes and add pictures easily while checking my emails and searching for news online....but you now delete drafts after 7 days. I lost 2 newsletters in progress when you updated Yahoo Mail and was rushed to complete a new group email in 2 days...NOT HAPPY. Please extend the save time in drafts to at least 2 weeks. Thank you.

OPTION TO DISABLE STAR VEIW RIGHT SIDE - WORSE THAN POP UP ADS ON RIGHT - which was only reason I subscribed to Yahoo Mail Plus.
FIRST, LET ME SAY I HATE NEW YAHOO MAIL FORMAT. I AM ONE OF FEW REMAINING YAHOO MAIL USERS THAT DID NOT SWITCH TO GMAIL. I HAVE WASTED TOO MUCH TIME IN LAST 2 DAYS TRYING TO WORK WITH YOUR NEW FORMAT. I NEED OPTION TO ELIMINATE RIGHT COLUMN WITH STARRED EMAILS. THIS IS AS BAD AS THE ADS THAT FORCED ME TO SUBSCRIBED TO YAHOO MAIL PLUS @ $5.00 A MONTH TO ELIMINATE.

Increas Speed
Since I was forced onto the new mail the speed has been horrible. When I delete a message it takes several seconds for it to be gone while on the old mail it was deleted immediately. Also while scanning messages new messages come in slowly and make it difficult to navigate through the inbox. This "upgrade" so far is a disaster from my viewpoint. I am seriously considering getting off my premium yahoo mail if things don't improve.

stop putting ads into my Yahoo Plus account
I pay for email so that I don't have ads. Now you are putting ads in my Yahoo Plus account email. This new app is FUBAR. Get rid of it and bring back classic Yahoo

List of email accounts
I need to have my list of email accounts permanently shown in the left navigation bar, as it was before the update. Them being hidden below behind my name does not work for me.

third problem with the new one
Now I hit some wrong key and it's the dark mode. Even though in the appearance menu it's marked as light. The hassles just keep coming.

Space Wasted
Too much space is wasted with padding and rounded corners. You should tighten up these margins and padding all around. It looks like a toy email on desktop when I have been using it for business for years.
GMail may be a better fit for me if the current childish view continues.72nd ranked -
Move menu option back to main menu bar
Having the Move option in an expanded menu to get to is not efficient. I put emails in folders and it's not as easy to get to. I liked it before when it was available as one of the primary items.

Fix line Spacing Default to Single
Line spacing is defaulted to 1.1 or 1.2 per line, and my emails look like a college term paper. There is no way to change the default line spacing. It's gets worse as emails are forwarded/replied to because the line spacing just continues to grow. It looks really stupid to have line breaks that are as big as spaces between paragraphs. If the absurdity continues we will eventually be reduced to using emojis like the ancient egyptians.

Inbox appearance improvements
Inbox appearance changes needed: (1) Tried different settings, but useable screen space to view email body limited to about 30% of screen size on standard 15" laptop. Prior mail settings allowed for significantly more space on same screen. There is a significant amount of white space on the top half of the screen that could be better utilized. (2) Provide ability to turn off the distracting small icons/images that precede the email address of the sender. These distract from ability to quickly scan the useful information in the inbox. (3) Improve the clarity to easily see read vs unread mail.…

Keep the toolbar visible
The toolbar used to be visible regardless of having an email checkbox selected or not. You used to be able to delete a single email just be highlighting it and clicking the trashcan on the toolbar. Now, the toolbar is hidden until you check the checkbox on at least one email, leading to extra clicks just to delete an email. The toolbar should be visible, or at least have a setting to turn it on or off, whichever is preferred. Thank you.

Short by sender A-Z.
You need to be able to short by sender A-Z.
That helps when you just need to check your INBOX for related info from any sender.72nd ranked -
The bubbles that appear for tabs (e.g. when opening an email) need dedicated space
With tabs enabled, when you open an email the entire screen shifts down (including the left side panel), then when you delete or close an email the screen shifts back up. When repeatedly reading emails, this gets pretty annoying. The tabs should have dedicated horizontal space (with LESS SURROUNDING WHITESPACE!) so the screen doesn't shift up and down.

Navigation
Do not have the option to star and email on the far right, when the star appears on the left next to subject. That isn't useful. Put the star where its going to be so that they user can toggle it on/off by hovering over it. It doesn't make sense that it was moved.
