Unfortunately, you cannot revert back. We are only making the new one better. We know change is frustrating and hard but we really hope you'll give the new layout a fair chance.


WHAT'S NEW:
Calendar - We moved it from under "More" on the right hand side to it's own icon. Still on the right hand side, but it's now the first icon next to Starred and Contacts.

TIPS:
Disable Inbox Categories (All, Primary, etc) - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Inbox Categories.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Sort By Sender - This is still a sorting option, but you must disable Conversation view under your Settings. Then you will see "Sender name"
Disable AI Summaries - Go to Settings > AI features > Toggle Off
Unread Count - You can hover over "Inbox" to see the Unread count or you can expand the left hand column and Unread will be in the column below Inbox with the unread count. No hovering.

  1. New email is horrible, classic email was much better

    This new email is not a positive change. What happened to the "delete all" function? There are only 2 bad options for appearance. The new features are useless and not needed.

  2. Reorder

    It would be most useful if I could reorder the menu down the left side. I would raise Trash and Spam above the scroll, and demote things like Scheduled that I have no use for. Trash and Spam are important to check, and since you removed the actual number of entries from them, it is now even more of a pain because I have to scroll down to even see them.
    This new layout is NOT an improvement.

  3. Don't switch to newer versions without notifying the user before doing so.

    Our staff works off of the same email, and when you switched to the new version, the look changed. Now it makes it even harder to recognize what has been opened, and not been opened. We have to learn this all over again. I wish we would have had some heads up or training.

  4. Too many headers!!! you have 70% of my viewing screen covered with huge areas of headers!!! WHY???

  6. Folders

    I liked having my folders all visible for easy access rather than a separate button I have to click. I created my own Archive folder because Yahoo hid the Archive folder as well.

  7. The new webpage is practically unusable in it's present form.

    Far too much blank space, tiny fonts, not enough space to see subject line preview. It's just a mess.

  8. I don't like the new version.

    If I make a mistake in my deletions, it erases every email I tried to erase and I have to start all over again.
    Also the email screen it too large for my computer screen and I have to keep moving things around so I can see the whole screen.

    PLEASE fix this or put me back to my old email platform!

  9. Bring back day, month separators

    Emails are now a long list which is not pleasing to the eye. I preferred the emails separated by dates (each day) and then the month.

  10. Ads

    The Ads look exactly like an email, except for it says Ad in tiny letters instead of a time. This invites unwanted scamming and potential for security issues for those of us that like our privacy. It would be helpful for Ads to be more obvious and contrasted to actual emails. Thank you.

  12. Stop changing how Yahoo Mail appears

    This is becoming very annoying and bloody unnecessary. Also, stop deleting emails I have moved to my trash bin. I'll fully delete them when I'm good and ready.

  13. File sending

    I have been with Yahoo since the beginning! and now I can not send files (songs) that are below 25mb. Some are only 16mb. Not sure what is going on?

  14. Folders

    I hate that I cannot see all my folders on the main inbox page like I could in the basic version. I have most of my emails that I need to see filtered to different folders. So, having to take the extra step multiple times is irritating.

  15. Allow us to change it back to the older UI

    I've had the same UI on this site for probably over a decade. I don't like how the new one looks, it's harder to see which emails are already read. Why am I forced to look at the new design? It seems like something that's intentionally sterilized into looking like a generic mobile web app just for the sake of doing so

  16. Change settings for trash

    Automatically deleting trash after only seven days is too soon. I'm using less than half my storage. I need to keep those deleted emails for at least 30 days.

  17. Change color of selected emails

    Can you please change it so when I select a bunch of emails, it highlights a different color? When you select one, it changes the color of it, but when you select a bunch, they remain the same color. It's super hard to see what I've selected, besides the tiny checkmarks. This change is awful for people who have a hard time seeing. We need to be able to distinguish contrast. There is NO contrast when several emails are selected.

  18. Allow mail to take up more screen

    The ads take up almost one-half of the screen. I cannot see my mail. I do NOT like the new format.
