WHAT'S NEW?
Search by Sender - Just hover over the sender's profile image and a spyglass icon will appear where you can search all emails by that sender.
Multi-Tasking Tabs - Like before, open an email in a new tab.
AI Summaries - Ability to disable. Go to Settings > AI Features > Toggle Off
Number of Total Messages - Hover over the Inbox Icon and you will see both total number of messages and unread.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.

Differentiate Unread v. Read - Better ways to see the difference.
Resize Images - Resize an image within the message.
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently for Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.

  1. Spam filter

    Add option to trurn off your Spam filter - it does not work and wrongly marks normal emails as spam. So let me turn it off.

  4. Multiple Mailboxes

    List all your mailboxes under your main mailbox like it was in the old Yahoo. Now you have to go to the bottom of the screen and click for additional mailboxes and it would be nice to see them all at one glance.

  5. Bring Basic yahoo back!

    PLEASE I never wanted the "new yahoo" and have begged you before to keep basic format email, but now the basic site won't load anymore! PLEASE bring back basic!

  6. You can improve the New Yahoo Mail by allowing me to use the old, basic Yahoo mail

    I cannot use this new Yahoo mail, and I will be switching everything over to some other email carrier if you don't allow me to see my email in PAGES. I cannot work with one long page of endlessly scrolling. It is not how I organize my email, nor my thoughts.

  8. waste of time

    It's not user friendly any more. I used to save my information in deferent categories but now It's lost. All information is no longer available to me .

  12. Fichier attache depuis email antérieur

    Madame, Monsieur,

    Je souhaite attirer votre attention sur un point problématique de la nouvelle version de Yahoo Mail.
    Auparavant, depuis un ordinateur de bureau, lorsque je rédigeais un nouvel e-mail, j’avais la possibilité de choisir la source d’un fichier à joindre — soit depuis mes e-mails, soit directement depuis mon ordinateur.

    Avec la nouvelle interface, cette option n’existe plus : je suis systématiquement redirigée vers les fichiers enregistrés sur mon ordinateur. Cela rend la recherche d’anciens documents (par exemple envoyés il y a un an) beaucoup plus difficile et peu pratique.

    Je ne comprends pas pourquoi cette nouvelle version nous…

  13. Remove sidebar on the right side

    The sidebar on the right side of the screen, combined with the enormous amount of whitespace in between, makes the new Yahoo Mail completely useless on a small laptop screen.

    Please make the sidebar optional - it's not really that useful for most users.

  14. Eating up CPU - not good

    New Yahoo Mail in MacOS 15.7.1 on Safari Version 26.0.1. Sucks up a lot of CPU 5-15% constantly.

  15. yahoo is the worst

    not enough people changing their email over to the new yahoo - so you make the old version paid only?
    That is entirely shady and complete ******* ******** - i will be chaninging and forwarding everything over to my gmail account and never using your email again except for spam. So congrats you lost a user

  16. Fix You Deletion Process

    I was cleaning my email and selected Offers to delete a slew of old marketing emails. By selecting "all" in this category, Yahoo deleted THREE YEARS of ALL my emails!!!!!! Even the last ones my mom sent before she passed away ... those were NOT OFFERS!!! IF you offer an option for OFFERS then make sure it ONLY INCLUDES OFFERS. If you can't ensure that then don't offer it at all. THREE YEARS OF EMAILS!! Not good, Yahoo.

  20. Draft delete in mobile app deleted entire email chain bug

    Draft email when slide and chose to delete in mobile app deleted entire email chain in inbox and sent . instead of deleting draft and it is not even in trash to restore.Please fix this bug
