Unfortunately, you cannot revert back. We are only making the new one better. We know change is frustrating and hard but we really hope you'll give the new layout a fair chance.


WHAT'S NEW:
Calendar - We moved it from under "More" on the right hand side to it's own icon. Still on the right hand side, but it's now the first icon next to Starred and Contacts.

TIPS:
Disable Inbox Categories (All, Primary, etc) - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Inbox Categories.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Sort By Sender - This is still a sorting option, but you must disable Conversation view under your Settings. Then you will see "Sender name"
Disable AI Summaries - Go to Settings > AI features > Toggle Off

  2. FIX THE TRASH CAN GLITCH

    In the classic (FAR SUPERIOR, DID NOT REQUIRE REVAMPING) inbox, you used to be able to hover your cursor over the trash can icon next to the email preview and delete multiple emails in a row. Now, after one click of the trash can, it disappears as the next email takes the place of the deleted one, and the cursor reverts to hovering over blank space, so that when you click again (to delete) it ends up opening the email you're trying to delete without opening! Very frustrating!

  3. I hate the new version!!!!

    It has been deleting stuff, including important emails that were supposed to go straight to my inbox. That I should've gotten. I want the old version back!!! At least it didn't try to force me to pay for a Plus or subscription. So bbbboooo!!!! To your new version! More like a beyond awful version. I can see why so many ppl left and went to Google or other places with a better email that has an actual background that's appealing to look at and doesn't pull this type of stunt!!! Especially.   5. Distracting, irritating commercials

    I didn't mind the ad much but the constantly running commercials are extremely distracting and make me want to ditch Yahoo Mail altogether. Please stop changing the inbox for the worse.

  8. Option to get rid of R sidebar

    The R sidebar (contacts, calendar etc.) takes up so much space and I don't need quick access to these things. Have the option to minimize it like the L sidebar (inbox, folders etc) or remove altogether.

    My idea is simple - go back to the old email page. It looked better, functioned better, it was better. This new one sucks.

  10. not satisfied with new email center and want to change back to the old one

    I do not like the new layout or current themes available. I liked it better when emails were simple text and had more options to personalize email layout. I do not need to see sender pictures either as it just clutters the space. Add a feature so we can remove them if we want.

  11. how about revert it back

    cluttered interface, annoying ads, and missing customization options. cannot tell the difference between read and unread emails. mailbox options preferred at the top.

  12. Improve the speed and layout

    The new user interface is very slow to load. There aren't any options to customize the layout other than light or dark mode. Every message takes 30 seconds plus to load on desktop. It is making checking mail very challenging. The layout is also cutting off parts of messages and is overall not user friendly. Even deleting messages takes a long amount of time. Looking forward to improvements coming quickly.

    I have no idea why y'all changed the layout. It now looks messy and disoriented and honestly whoever coded up this design should be fired. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. This was so unnecessary.

  15. Allow sort by "to" in Yahoo mail

    The removal of "Sort by Recipient" from the Sent folder significantly reduces the usability of Yahoo Mail. Many users rely on this feature to quickly review correspondence history. Please restore the ability to sort sent emails by the "To" field. This change has made email management much more difficult. Thank you.

  17. Allow users to widen columns for folders and email middle window.

    I want the ability back into the app to size the windows on the main screen as I see fit. Thank you.
    This app update is terrible and misses the mark on functionality, ease of use, and customization. The customization features you've created for this new version are not window dressing and aren't useful.

  18. I do NOT WANT new Yahoo mail

    New Yahoo has less functionality than Classic Yahoo mail. Please revert my account back to Classic. You have removed the ability to filter messages into folders for organized review. Now everything just pours into my Inbox for sorting. I do not have time for that. Note to the engineers....when you roll out a "New" product, don't take away funcionality, you are supposed to improve performance, not regress from it. Terrible! As a Yahoo Mail user of over 25 years, please revert my account back to Classic or Ielse I will bolt to a platform with helpful tools.
