1. Let me see my actual email like I used to instead of a ridiculously small ribbon message

   I was switched (against my will) today to the new Yahoo Mail. It's horrible. Everything else on the screen is so big that it shrinks my view of my email to a small ribbon at the bottom instead of a large box like it used to be. I need for all the stuff at the top of my screen to shrink so I can actually see read my email messages. I can't adjust my browser settings, because they are prefect for everything else. There's no way, as it is, to see a good view of my email message. Instead I have to scroll up and down just to move from one sentence to another. That's ridiculous. I want to see the whole paragraph at once, not just a couple of lines at a time and then have to scroll down for the rest or back to re-read. And then there are extra icons that say "Summarize" and "Add to Calendar" and they take up even more of my reading space. I want my 4" tall message, not a 1-1.5" tall message like I have now. I get emails that have pictures embedded in the body of the message, and I can't even see the picture because of how small the ribbon is where my message actually is. That is a huge problem. In addition, I also don't want to have to scroll right to see the right side of the page. My "X" to close an email is now off to the right of my screen. That is a big, huge problem that makes my life much more difficult. I want the whole screen to show at once. The old layout was perfect for me, but this one makes my already difficult life even more difficult. I'm very, very upset about this. I don't like the change at all and I don't want it. Yahoo is my primary email address - the one that everyone has for me. That is because yahoo was always the easiest to use. Now it's not. But now it's too late to get a new primary email address, because I've been using this for years and I don't have time to be informing everyone of a new email address. Why are you all **** bent on making life harder in the name of "making things easier or better"? Please, please give me back my old yahoo email that was so much easier to use and that fit perfectly on my computer screen and allowed me to read my messages in peace, see any pictures in them, and X out of them without scrolling right to do so.

6. Themes and Customizing options for laptop users, just like the mobile app

   The New Yahoo Mail does not offer themes or options to change background on a desktop. However, those features are available on the mobile app. Why???? It should be made available to ALL subscribers. It's not just for an aesthetic reason or personal preference. It is also for those of us with light sensitivity. The desktop version needs to offer softer, low-contrast tinted background options for eye sensitivity, beyond pure white Light mode and black Dark mode. I cannot believe that this wasn't taken into consideration when these changes were arbitrarily made.

7. Allow Classic Yahoo mail again

   The new yahoo mail is not an improvement. There was no need to change from the Classic Yahoo mail. I much prefer the Classic Yahoo mail. I have given the new theme a chance.
   To be honest this change is quite disappointing and cumbersome to the point I am highly motivated to use a different email provider all together. I have used yahoo mail primarily for over 23 years now but this forced move might be too much to put up with. Please allow for the option to revert back to the Classic theme. Thank you.

9. box to do 50 emails at a time

   You can't not delete only a small amount. When you click the box to get rid of a small amount and scroll down you find it has checked the box for more than you want. Put the box back so I can view 25,50,or 100.

10. keep action buttons for emails consistant

    when viewing emails on computer i like to quickly review them and keep my cursor in the same place - on the delete button. what happens is that sometimes the delete button moves one position to the right because of a reply all action button that is on some emails but not others and then move back left for next email that does not have a reply all. so, it takes me longer to review emails because i have to make sure i'm not hitting the spam action button or have hit the folders action button and have to move cursor and choose the correct one. I've also tried leaving the cursor on small delete button inside of preview panel, but its too slow. IT DID NOT WORK LIKE THIS IS PREVIOUS VERSION AND WAS MUCH QUICKER AND SMOOTHER.
    Please find a way to fix this , very disappointed in new platform.

11. Horrible new email format

    I do NOT like the new format of yahoo email. You intentionally made the right sided advertisement column larger to cut the actual email area size so clients would have to pay for ad free email.
    In addition, I can no longer scroll over an email to read the subject because UNSUBSCRIBE now covers the subject area.
    NOT happy with yahoo and considering switching to gmail after 20+ years with yahoo.
    Did Yahoo bother to do a focus marketing before switching? I can't imagine many of your clients are happy about the changes. Yahoo has made it more difficult- NOT easy to manage email

13. searching for only e-mails with in specific folders only.

    Under previous versions you were able to search on in a specific mailbox. In this version you search by e-mail address and all e-mails show up no matter what folder they have been moved to already.

14. Hot keys, colors

    4 things that were really great, but are now frustrating: 1) It's great that you can press 'd' to bring up the folder menu when you want to move an e-mail, but not having the ability to press 1-9 to send it directly to a folder means extra mouse movements or several additional clicks. Being able to press 2 buttons quickly was so much better for repetitive stress; 2) having a colored background in light mode was great. I'd prefer dark mode, but sometimes when you copy something (like from ChatGPT) and are in dark mode, you have to make the text white, but then nobody else sees it when you send it. So I have to stay on light mode; 3) you used to be able to copy the text of a BCC group. Now it's impossible; and 4) when entering an emoji, you used to have the emojis that you use the most (or maybe they were the ones you used most recently). Now, to get to the thumb's up, which I use often, you have to type thumb and then click.

    So it seems like this kind of programming/features are so simple from a programming standpoint, so I'm not sure why they were removed because they were great features.

15. get rid of that right side panel area ... takes up too much room

    That new area (rounded square section) on the upper right takes up too much room. It needs to have a button or menu item to be able to collapse it or make it be very small and allow the middle section (the preview section) to expand to fill in that space that upper right section as was taking, etc.

    Please bring back the date separators in the inbox (today, yesterday, last week) the continuous chronological list int eh new yahoo email makes it much more difficult to distinguish emails from different days

17. remove destructions

    The new layout has too many colors and visual distractions. In particular, the different-colored circles next to each sender make the inbox look cluttered and busy. I preferred the older, cleaner design, which was simpler, easier on the eyes, and allowed me to focus on my emails.

    Please consider making the following changes:

    Add an option to remove the colored circles next to senders.

    Offer a simpler, more traditional inbox layout.

    Give users the choice to customize or disable unnecessary visual features.

    Allow users who prefer the old design to switch back to it.
