I have a problem with my Profile Icon
In the new mail, emails that I have forwarded to myself and emails from Yahoo Calendar show my Profile Icon as YR. My initials are KE. Why is it saying YR?
Also, when I went to Sent Messages, I saw the same email from Calendar saying KE, which is correct. When I went back to my Inbox, it had changed YR to KE, so I think it's a bug.

Get rid of childish "tasks" and "accomplishments"
What idiot decided that Yahoo Mail should be reduced to a childish game of "what have I done today, Mommy"? Get rid of the idiotic **** and return to the business-like format and appearance of the previous Yahoo Mail. BTW, I can't find "Settings" anywhere in this asinine "change for changes sake" version (or was this simply a programmer ploy to look busy?). The new Yahoo Mail STINKS!

The block sender option is gone

Broken " Sign Out " menu
The "Sign Out" button use to be displayed on screen.
Now its hidden under a profile drop menu.
The profile drop menu disappears if you hover away too fast, from the circle profile icon.
The mouse must rest on the circle icon, long enough for the drop menu to be displayed.
Anyone in a hurry to sign out will never see the drop menu appear,The average person:
clicks on the profile icon,
Then immediately positions the cursor in proximity of the "Sign Out" option.Hovering away from the profile icon cancels the display of the drop menu,

Why Make any Major Changes to Yahoo Mail
Why would you force this New Yahoo Email on anyone until you have all the things corrected such as the
Compact View - Small, Medium and Large views? The width now is so hard to see all of my current emails. Stupid the changes made from the Classic Yahoo Email. The Classic Email was perfect and easy to use.71st ranked -
Bring back Preview Cards option for hypertext links in messages.
When I would insert a link for a website or video, Ymail would generate a `preview card' with a thumbnail and the title of the linked context. This isn't happening any more.
I found them very useful. I also liked that the option existed to remove them when I didn't want one.

Just stop
You have made going through emails a chore not better. You have pointless pop ups to try and make going through emails "fun" I'm guessing, it is not, it is in fact bothersome and distracting. You hide most of my email with a "summary" when you could just let me look at my email. You keep prompting me to "Add Application" when I've said no everytime I open my email, that needs to go away.

When Using 'Writing your e-mail'.....
With this 'new' (gmail-type) messaging Yahoo.... it is incredibly difficult to figure out which portion of the new message is. The lines separating the sections are almost invisible, which causing delays in constructing a message because the time it takes to figure out where you are in it (at least when trying to finish a draft). ... Any way to do back to the old display would make a lot of us happy. Alice Marie Way

Compartmentalizing the features is just going back to Windows 3.1 "windows".
Why not offer multiple graphic user interface options? The current design does not clearly distinguish unread emails from read emails.

delete addresses from memory
Sometimes people's email addresses change, like they retired, and when I start to type in their name, the old one keeps coming up. I thought there was a way to delete old addresses from the list of contacts, but it no longer seems to work.

Bring back blocking and removing a specific email all at once
There use to be the option of blocking and removing a specific email all at once. I had received 133 spam emails and 119 of them were from the same email address ( contact@xysyrsm.com). I use to be able to block and remove these all at once, but now I had to look at EVERY one of them. I saved all of them if you would like some proof. Please bring back the option of blocking and removing all of the unwanted emails all at once.

How do i make the reading window bigger on my lap top. I am not a computer tech! This new version sucks *. I never had any problems till this new *.

MESSAGE/COMPOSE AREA TOO SMALL
The message box is too small, and u see only very small bits of your message at a time. On top of that there is no expanded look like that of Outlook. For me scrolling left, right, up, down to read a message is very frustrating. I REALLY PREFER THE CLASSIC VIEW. You can see the whole message in one shot. I hope you help improve on this.

Voor mij is de Prullenbak een tijdelijke opslagplaats voor e-mails die behandeld zijn maar die ik nog wel wil bijhouden. In de nieuwe lay-out zouden die al na zeven dagen plots verdwijnen! Terwijl dat voor de spamfolder een volle maand is! Ik vind dat we dat zélf moeten kunnen kiezen. Een maand vind ik billijk, maar 't zou zelfs langer mogen zijn wat mij betreft.

Maybe fewer graphics. This page often does not load for several tries.
I don't know what is slowing it down, but there are a lot more graphics on the lists now.

New Yahoo Mail is Not visually appealing
Please allow the users to switch back to previous Yahoo Mail. It was visually much better which made it easier to navigate.
I absolutely DO NOT like this New Yahoo Mail.

Don't force an unfinished update on users
Please give us the option to hide or remove the side panel, resize the columns, and provide proper settings. Why did you roll this out and force it on us before it was complete? Where are the different view options?
