Put it back or at least make read items faint
This looks like a horrible phone app. I hate it. At least dim or make faint the mail already read.
I used to be a paid user, stopped paying when you updated and ignored feedback, and you seem to be doing that again. And why do you not have MAIL as one of the options here??

get rid of the AI features
if you absolutely must keep them because you've sunk too much money into the sinkhole that is AI, at least change it to a toggle ON feature instead of toggle off. It is absolutely infuriating and insulting to have a constant pop-up that I have to click out of. I don't need a machine to summarize my emails, I have basic reading comprehension.

Get rid of the streaks
Im just trying to reply to emails. I dont need confetti going off because I wrote an email to someone a few days in a row. No one would want that ever. The halloween challenge and all that is embarrassingly bad. I have had a yahoo account for over 20 years and feel like this is the first time I should switch out. Do you think gmail has a little pumpkin in the corner that shoots confetti when you write an email?

turn off the 2 step verification process when signing in
This isn't an idea just can't figure this out when signing in. Here's some feedback about signing in since I can't contact yahoo about the signing into mail. I bought a new router and got it installed on Oct 19 or 20, 2026 and ever since I had to get a code to prove it is me. It is me I don't share my info to no one. Yahoo is getting just like facebook. Please Restore the Permanent Display of Linked Mailboxes
Dear Yahoo Mail Team,
I'm very disappointed with the recent Yahoo Mail redesign.
I manage five email accounts, and the previous layout allowed me to see all five mailboxes and their unread email counts at a glance. Now, I have to hover over the currently selected mailbox just to see the others, and the unread indicators are tiny and easy to miss.
This is a significant step backwards in usability. The previous layout was clear, convenient and efficient, whereas the new design makes checking multiple accounts unnecessarily difficult.

Different colour rows between Read and Unread emails
The new Yahoo! Mail theming has put every email under the same row colour (grey - dark theme), regardless of being read or unread. This makes it extremely difficult to distinguish what emails remain unread. Please revert this back as per the original format, otherwise I will be forced to look at other email providers as it is now very difficult to use.

Too hard to read
It is just a horrible screen. Not easy to read and that makes it easy to make mistakes when deleting emails etc. I would think you would have tried to improve not go backwards. Sorry but the old version was so much easier to read and work.

Disctinction read and unread
It is very difficult now to distinguish between the read and unread mail. Before, the difference was much clearer (unread being in bold). Now the difference is too small! Please revert to how it was before!

Improve New Layout
Emotional rant below. Actual design feedback summary here:
1. Way too much blank space. We need a much more compact option.
2. Way too many things I don't want taking up room. We need an option to turn off the right side bar and a way to hide or collapse all the default folders so we can actually see our own folders.
3. Hiding the list of mailboxes in a drop down selector at the bottom of the screen is incredibly inconvenient. At minimum, please put that selector at the top. Or have an option we can turn on that…72nd ranked -
Search within folder
Earlier it was possible to select 'inbox' or 'any folder' and search with 'from' or 'subject' etc. Now selecting folder itself is removed.
Without 'folder' search option, search 'from' gives list of mails from all folders. When we go through these mails from 'inbox' folder, we are likely to delete mail that is listed here but was saved in other folder.when last time we migrated we had same issue. Subsequently this was resolved.

Restore the Ability to BLOCK Spam Senders
Under the previous version of Email, one could select to Block Spam emails, before Deleting them. In New Email that Option is Gone! One as now Manually Update the Blocked Senders List.
This morning I found 8 Emails in my Spam Folder. I could no longer to a Bulk Add to the Block Senders List. Instead, my only option is to Permanently Delete. The amount of Daily Spam is Increasing, so I really need the Ability to Block Spammers, as I can get as much as 20 Spams in a Day.

STREAK - NO THANKS
STOP offering me... streak... whatever that is. Besides it being annoying, it has NO meaning to or for me. It's just more useless BS that only complicates... and delays - whatever I'm doing - like going through my emails, reading & deleting... or putting into their respective categories.
