WHAT'S NEW:
Calendar - We moved it from under "More" on the right hand side to it's own icon. Still on the right hand side, but it's now the first icon next to Starred and Contacts.

TIPS:
Disable Inbox Categories (All, Primary, etc) - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Inbox Categories.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Sort By Sender - This is still a sorting option, but you must disable Conversation view under your Settings. Then you will see "Sender name"
Disable AI Summaries - Go to Settings > AI features > Toggle Off

  1. Don't like the update!

    How can I count the ways, that I don't like this update? From the grey background, not black, to the smaller viewing area of reading emails. I got rid of the app on my tablet for the same reason and started using the browser. That's all I have to say. I may look for a different app to view my email.

  2. do not want the new yahoo mail.

    Was happy with the original mail. Please give people the option as to weather or not they want to change. Do not like being forced to accept the change.

    Go Back to the older version of Yahoo Mail .. a much cleaner and easier to use and visualize mail Your bothers at AOL have it right. Stop messing with something that worked well and was EASY to use.

  7. Please restore the inbox date headings: Today, Yesterday, Last Week, and Last Month. These made it much easier to scan and organize messages

  8. Lose the side panel in Yahoo Mial on the web.

    That side panel doesn't let you get a good preview on laptops when using the web version of Yahoo Mail. It should be minimally collapsible. It is really annoying in its current state. I don't always need to see my contacts, starred emails or settings available 24/7. It chews up valuable real estate.

  10. Can you give more color options for visual experience

    I am really having a very diffucult time with the limited colors/themes. Black or white literally all i can change to.
    I used to have blue which was a great in between. The white is too bright and the black I have a hard time distinguishing what is an unread email
    that is a major issue for me with this new experience, unless there is an option I am missing

  11. Yahoo layout????????

    How do I get the Yahoo email screen to take up the entire laptop screen window??
    I don't need the separate window on the right. The user should be able to set up his/her own window.

  12. New mail version stinks

    I absolutely HATE he new version of mail I would like to go ack bt another find that option Perhaps its time to move to a different mail service.....tis is frustrating

  13. More compact, lighter feeling email lists

    Bring back the ligher feeling, more compact email lists. The new one - the font is larger, I'm seeing less of the email title.
    Also, make it more compact.

    Same from the mobile version. I'm scrolling more now, it's very annyoing.

  14. Show all addressees

    In the new interface all addressees are reduced to the principal addressee and then "+1 more" or "+2 more." There should be a way to turn this off so that all addressees can be seen. Hiding them is not helpful.

  15. Abhor new version

    I hate this - I can't even read it when it's all white or black. Stupid people. Will be switching to gmail or some other platform other than yahoo. Can't star it as unread. Absolutely USELESS

  16. Color choices

    Give us the choice of colors to surround the inbox site. The faded pink I'm seeing is horrible and makes the whole inbox site to bright. I would like a blue or green color to surround the inbox.

  17. Inbox spacing adjustment

    In new yahoo email, can't find setting for adjusting inbox spacing.
    Are you working on this?
    In future, if you are forcing us to have a new email without "classic" fallback option, then please keep all the features, especially ability to have narrower inbox spacing.

  18. BUG with the sort filter

    This new Yahoo has a bug regarding this item:
    Sort By Sender - This is still a sorting option, but you must disable Conversation view under your Settings. Then you will see "Sender name".
    Even when the Conversation setting is toggled off, "Sender name" does not appear as a sort option.

  19. I hate the new look of mail...

    ...not a fan. I know things take getting used to, but my initial thoughts are I don't like this.
    1. The view of messages in the inbox is too wide. There should be a view option to compress the messages to allow more messages to be viewed within the Inbox.
    2. The delete, forward, reply, etc. buttons have been removed from the menu bar on top, and put on each individual message. This actually makes navigating the inbox more difficult.
