WHAT'S NEW?
Search by Sender - Just hover over the sender's profile image and a spyglass icon will appear where you can search all emails by that sender.
Multi-Tasking Tabs - Like before, open an email in a new tab.
AI Summaries - Ability to disable. Go to Settings > AI Features > Toggle Off
Number of Total Messages - Hover over the Inbox Icon and you will see both total number of messages and unread.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.

Differentiate Unread v. Read - Better ways to see the difference.
Resize Images - Resize an image within the message.
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently for Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.

  2. At least allow users the ability to revert back to the previous version.

    I would like the opportunity to be able to revert back to the old or basic layout of Yahoo which displayed my folders next to my inbox allowing me to drag emails directly into a folder. I did not ask for this new layout and am finding it frustrating. I was told I could revert back by clicking on “More Options” but there is still no mention of being able to revert back under that. Although I know that various systems are always being updated which is understandable, users of Yahoo should at least be given the choice as to…

  4. the mail layout sucks

    I have been with yahoo for many many years, the mail usage was simple and it worked, I just selected the try new mail, olnu because some stupuid update would not allow me to select an email from my inbox and scroll down to place it in another folder. stupid

  5. Fix "unread" because it doesnt ******* work

    If I look in the "inbox" I can see recently received emails that are unread dated 21st may but if I select the "UNREAD" folder there are no unread emails received since the 18th.

    It doesn't matter how many times I switch between the inbox and unread folder it just doesnt show them.

    I have dozens of different folders and mail is directed to folders using the filters so when your "unread" selection doesnt work I can easily miss a critically important email.

    You don't allow us to contact support, you have reduced the storage quota to a fraction of…

    I want my old look back now! I was not even given an option. I have been a LONG time user. Change it back so I can clearly read my messages. This is NOT reader friendly at all. I guess it's time for gmail.

  8. What happened to Preferences to sort by date on Sent items?

    Every other folder has a preferences option, where I can change the sort by date from oldest to newest. It no longer exists in Sent items. What happened? Please restore this capability.;

    As one of the filter options, you should be able to choose which folder to look in or which ones to ignore when you search for key words.

  14. Hi , Please give us an option to recover our older emails which are in spam or trash

    I want my emails to be recover from spam those are automatically deleted due to 30 days restrictions . Okay , I undrestand those are your policy but atleast give us a reminder or something so that we can go check whether is there anything important hiding there or not.

  16. Deleting Old Emails

    You may have the option to do this, and I just can't find it. I would like to be able to set a date and have all emails before that date be auto deleted. Or something like: Delete all emails older than 1 year or older than 6 months.

    in the new Yahoo! mail, when I selected the "Message preview" to be off, I still see the Message preview, why is that?

  19. Ad at topf inbox email sending me to threat sites

    I clicked the Ad at the top of Inbox as it had this: "a profile view linked to your account" etc. It then took me to a Yahoo Terms screen about collecting and sharing data, which i Accepted. Then it took me to a site identified as a Threat by NORTON SECURITY.
