WHAT'S NEW?
Search by Sender - Just hover over the sender's profile image and a spyglass icon will appear where you can search all emails by that sender.
Multi-Tasking Tabs - Like before, open an email in a new tab.
AI Summaries - Ability to disable. Go to Settings > AI Features > Toggle Off
Number of Total Messages - Hover over the Inbox Icon and you will see both total number of messages and unread.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.

Differentiate Unread v. Read - Better ways to see the difference.
Resize Images - Resize an image within the message.
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently for Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.

    a recent verification OTP sent from yahoo was received with the sender id "HLOUNG" and not YAHOO. And the OTP Text was "Dear, Welcome to HAIR LOUNGE SALON, Your OTP for the transaction is xxxxxx"
    so was a bit confused, scared and curious to know, was it a glitch or SCAMMER sms or are you running a SALON instead of YAHOO MAIL?

  7. This is not an idea but a complaint about an inappropriate advert

    I don't object to advertising on yahoo mail, but I find the latest advert from SparkyDates troubling. The headline says: 'Meet Heartbroken Women Online'. It might as well have said 'Meet Vulnerable Women Online'. Maybe you could give feedback to the advertisers that their wording is highly inappropriate or discontinue their adverts.

    A fraudulent individual created an email deghinmoteialfred_ugbenbo@yahoo.com and sent a code (797154) through whatsapp to his victim. The victim ignorantly shared the received code with the hacker. Please, kindly trace and neutralize the activities of the scammer that may negatively affect the victim. The victim's phone number is +2348077868934

    ubject: Please Restore the Original Yahoo Mail Layout

    Message:

    The new Yahoo Mail layout is confusing and requires too many steps to do simple tasks. The previous version was much easier to use, especially for accessing contacts and composing emails. Please give users the option to switch back to the original layout or restore the old interface. The new design has made everyday email tasks slower and more frustrating. Thank you for listening.

  13. Let me delete all emails within a specified date range.

    It's truly upsetting that I can't select a date range of emails to delete in one .command. I have over 68,000 emails and most are over three years old. I have backed them up, so that doesn't concern me. You force me to scroll down over and over and over and over again to select just 1,000 emails to delete. That's pathetic. I should be able to enter "before 20220101", see all the emails, and then delete them all with one delete command. FIX THIS IMMEDIATELY!     it eats up 1.5-2GB of memory to show an inbox? this is completely unusable and breaks the cheap Chromebox 3 we use.

  17. the new UI for yahoo email is s basic and hard to read. CLassic mail even with ads is easier to use and better organized

    Yahoo mail seems to default to another category instead of seeing all. The starred email column on the right is very distracting. Go back to the classic look. it is so much better or make it more similar. I would pay for that version. I hate the new UI in yahoo email

  18. Android app swallowed really important email, then the whole thread

    I've been desperately trying to reply to an important email, last of a thread counting 5 messages. At first I thought I missed something and forgot to send my reply, that's why my email is in the Drafts folder. So I've modified it with what changed in the meantime, and resent it. A few days later, when I came back to check the status, it once again was in the Drafts folder, and showing as a draft in the sent folder. So I've once again modified the contents a bit and tried to send it, a 3rd time. This time…
